This is my first post, but I have been following from the very first day and just wanted to say that you guys are doing a great job with the little information the public has been given. I have no suggestions that haven't already been covered, but I am hoping with all of my might that Dylan is ok somewhere, although it's not looking too good :(

Welcome to Websleuths, LJKaust, it's always good to see new faces around here. :seeya:

I see I've missed a lot . There are pictures of him and his dad at Walmart, did he look happy in those pictures? I feel a little better if they had pictures showing he was happy in those pictures, but maybe it's to hard to tell

I'm not sure if these are the only pictures that have been released (as shown in the above article), I wasn't here when they were released. In these two pictures you can only see Dylan (not his father), and they're a little grainy. The article says one was taken at the airport, and the other at Walmart.

I don't know that trying to read anything into his facial expressions would be much use - he was in Walmart and probably not that excited to be there after his long trip. I'd hate to see some of my facial expressions while I'm shopping - especially if my boys are with me, wrestling each other up and down the aisles! :notgood:

Note that LE is asking specifically for video evidence (either footage or photos), not eyewitness accounts. I think they want to see if someone may have been following Dylan.

they want video from any routes between 6pm and 12 noon monday, I'm thinking that they want to see if one of MRs vehicles is in any of them to try and verify if Dylan is with him or for an idea of where to search.

Have the vehicles that were taken by LE for testing been returned to MR yet?

I haven't read anything that says they've been returned.

I think they need to first establish that he made it to dads home.
Im not so sure they know that since they need info from sunday at 6. and it seems they are not interested in anything after noon on Monday which I thought strange. So(TO ME) they have in question Dads actions from when he picked him up at airport till he says he came back from wherever it was he had to go that monday!

All JMO

And in those video pics Dylan did not look happy.

And where is Dad in these videos?

How long was this long trip its what 5 hrs driving?
He flew.

Come on peeps hes 13.
If he was going to his friends home he would have a diff look on his face

The child looks unhappy that is very evident on his face.
I do not think he wanted to be there.

Haven't they already done that? Neither parent is a suspect or even a POI.

But more important.....
They have not been cleared!

They usually say they have been ruled out but they havent yet.

I can't read anything into his facial expressions. Those pictures are grainy stills taken from video. Ever looked at the expressions on someone's face when you pause your DVR? It's a fraction of a second in time, and you can see some very odd expressions on someone's face in that second.

I also think that the footage from Sunday night and Monday morning could well be to see what other cars were in the area then. Did someone follow them home from Walmart Sunday night? Is there a car on Sunday night and then again Monday morning that doesn't belong in the area?

Still praying for Dylan, and for all of his family members, and hoping for news today.

We need some fingure prints from the cereal bowl or spoon to show he was at the house. They have given us none...

Gawd ... he wasn't posing for a photo - he was in a store waiting for his dad to get whatever he was shopping for, and what's more this is a split second grab from a video. He hadn't slept the night before, and while his flight may have only been an hour or so, didn't we read that it had been delayed for an hour? Plus travel time for a flight of any length doesn't begin when you buckle your seatbelt on the plane - it would have begun a couple of hours earlier to allow for the trip to the airport, check in time etc.

:moo:

I will join the others who are taking time away from posting on this thread until there is some new info to post about - the dozens of pages of posts about MR are doing my head in. :pullhair:

I don't know if it has been discussed yet ( having a hard time keeping up) but when exactly did Dylan text/ call his friends about meeting them on monday instead of sunday? (Would it be possible someone else sent that message?)

Welcome to Websleuths!

I am not a fan of texting or email. You really never know who is on the other end.

I believe it was before 8pm as LE have said there was no activity on Dylans phone after that time.

its definitely possible that someone else could have sent the message.

http://durangoherald.com/article/20121204/NEWS01/121209802/Area-reservoirs-searched-again

Dylan was looking forward to meeting up with old friends, she said Tuesday, but he wasn’t looking forward to spending long days in his father’s cabin in Vallecito, a remote wilderness area 20 miles northeast of Durango.

“It was something that he needed to do, and he was excited to see his friends and hang out with his friends,” Elaine Redwine said. “He did have to come, but he was OK with it.”

Investigators also have reviewed surveillance footage that shows Dylan in Walmart on the night of Nov. 18, the day he arrived, Bender said. He was unsure what was purchased.

During an interview Monday night on CNN-affiliated Headline News, Elaine Redwine said she took a polygraph test and passed. She gave mixed responses when asked if Mark Redwine also took a polygraph test. At first, she seemed unsure if he took one, then she said, “I don’t think he failed,” followed by, “I think it was inconclusive.”

She was unsure if he’s being asked to take a second polygraph test.

Mark Redwine did not return a phone call Tuesday seeking comment.

Bender declined to be specific about the polygraph tests that have been administered.

“Polygraphs have been a part of our investigation,” he said. “We’re not releasing any details on who was polygraphed or what the results may or may not have indicated.”

Hey I agree I cant understand why everyone is saying hes so tired.
It was a Sunday no school since friday so what if he stayed up late the night before it wasnt an early flight. Kids are kids. I can see boredom being to blame.
And he possibly just wanted to be somewhere else.

I took a time out from WS last night after Dylan's pictures were released. I guess just seeing him in likely his last moments was too much. What happened to him soon after the WalMart photo was taken? Someone knows. One way or another, Dylan needs to be returned to those who love him. Now!
