Something that just keeps getting me. Mom said from the getgo that she suspected dad. Think about this. If my child were missing, I would not want to tunnel vision people. I would want people to be trying to find my child! However, if I truly believed a particular person needed to be looked at I would scream it out!
IMO she has never tried to steer the public away from thinking about dad.
That keeps me uncomfortable about dad.
Her most important thing in her life is finding her son! And her ex husband keeps coming to her mind. Nobody else!

I always trust my gut. It's never failed me yet! Her first instinct was probably right. Imo

and also possibly internet usage, since we learned Monday night that there is internet available.

Hey, clue :seeya:

Hi sKore! :seeya:

Good idea about baseline activity for computer use, too!

It is not unusual for live-ins for step-parents to be the culrpit in missing children cases.

No stone should be left unturned.

can you link to any cases where a child has disappeared while on an access visit and its their custodial parents live in partner?

I could understand where you're headed IF dylan had been at his mothers home and disappeared but thats not the case.

its not logical

I haven't been able to be around much today but I have read all evening and have tried to catch up on posts. Lots of good points brought up! Don't have much to add but my support.
I am so hoping that today is the day that Dylan comes home!

I agree it's unlikely. It's moot anyhow, because I can't imagine LE wouldn't want to clear him if they wanted to clear mom who was also 6 hours away. If distance made it a zero% chance, then they had no reason to poly mom.

Sure they did. To make dad more receptive to taking one.

We have seen nothing from LE or MSM that would lead us down the road of the mom's boyfriend. Be careful where you go here, okay? General speculation okay - anything specific not okay - not without a link.

Since Dylan flew alone, could someone have followed them from the airport?

Who else was on that plane?

The press release says:

Durango, CO – The Dylan Redwine Task Force (comprised of members of the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Colorado Bureau of Investigation, Durango Police Department and Bayfield Marshall’s Office) continues its active investigation in the disappearance of 13-year old Dylan Redwine who has been missing from his father’s house since Monday, November 19.

IMO LE are sending out mixed messages if many are reading that they are focusing on Sunday for when Dylan went missing.

they would have had to be near a vehicle themselves, seen what vehicle Dylan and his dad got into, followed them into and around walmart and mcDs and then follow them the rest of the way to vallecito and wait somewhere where they could tell when Dylan was left alone.

it doesn't sound plausible IMO

Because LE typically asks people who have a 0% chance of involvement to take a poly using police time and resources just to make someone else feel comfortable?

Because we have reason to believe he's not been cooperative on his own accord?

Because we have reason to believe that he's been influenced by his ex-wife's choices in any way?

I don't think we see the same logic here, and that's ok. Truth is neither of us know so it would be a waste to hash out. They eliminate possibilities IMO, even unlikely ones. I *personally* feel confident they've ruled out the boyfriend if they took the time to rule out the mom. It's ok if we interpret that differently :)

HEY! Stop with all these horror stories, please. WE DO NOT HAVE A SUSPECT OR POI. Stop going round and round to find ways to insinuate one of the parents is involved.

Just STOP!

What if there was a vehicle parked there at the airport for them? For instance, I know friends who have had their husbands come in from business trips late or at a time when they could not go pick them up, so they will arrange for someone to take them over at a more convenient time and leave a vehicle for their husband to drive home.

I hope Dylan wouldn't talk to a stranger on the plane, and tell him about his upcoming plans with his father, or where his father might live, but it is a possibility.

Don't they always start with parents of the missing child then move out next to the child's inner circle? Gotta rule them out first.

Haven't they already done that? Neither parent is a suspect or even a POI.

I wonder exactly how the FBI is involved? What exactly are they doing? Did they conduct the polygraphs and all the interviews ? What's the extent of their involvement ?

IMO LE rarely names a poi or suspect anymore unless they can't find the person.

I had some thoughts similar to this. Could have been a neighbor who stopped by. Maybe someone vacationing there and just arrived. Could have started asking Dylan about his dad and so Dylan assumed this was someone who knew his dad and whom he could trust. When Dylan told him his dad was due back at 11:00 to take him to his friend's house, the man could've offered to take Dylan. If Dylan was planning to stay there overnight, that would explain why Dylan took his backpack. But, why would Dylan leave the TV on? If, on the other hand, Dylan was kidnapped from the house, it's unlikely the kidnapper would allow him to take the backpack, and especially the cell phone, which could be tracked and would be a means for Dylan to contact someone. If a kidnapper allowed him to take his backpack along, wouldn't he look in the bag first and take out the phone if it was in there? If he did, or the phone wasn't in there to begin with, where is it now?

I did see pictures of a helicopter search today. It's on the FindMissingDylanRedwine FB page: https://www.facebook.com/FindMissingDylanRedwine

Did they ever bring in the bloodhounds that were talked about this past weekend?

Has it rained there since Dylan went missing?

I still wonder with it being elk hunting season if he decided to walk to his friends, take a short cut through the woods, and because he wasn't in flourescent hunting gear, he was mistaken for an elk.
