Another protective order request, Mark claims he was victimized later that same day. "I was attacked and beaten then left for hours until I woke up," he wrote. Mark says his older son Cory admitted he was responsible for the beating.

This ^^immediately following Marks having sex with someone in the family's front yard where Cory witnesses it, and the swing that Mark took at Dylan, and Marks grabbing of Elaine..and well..for me there is no question why 17yr old son, Cory beat the tar out of his father, Mark.. I would have, too..and now we know why dad filed a restraining order against his very own 17yr old son..so, so sad what these boys have been through..

Jmo and all but I personally would have been ashamed beyond ashamed to admit to what Mark did, much less to follow tbrough with restraining orders against my son afterwards.. I'm just so very saddened by these details and my heart breaks for Dylan and I fear what happened to him.. I really really do.. These are jmo, tho.

Good grief, even worse than I was imagining. It would be difficult for even an unbiased person to look elsewhere and clearly, Mom is not that. Also difficult for LE, I would think.

Now I can easily see what I imagined; Dylan showing an "attitude" or mouthing off or seeming to, anyway, to his dad, and then, who knows what.

They're calling for 200 volunteers to search between Durango & Vallecito Lake.

I want to hug Elaine & Cory right now & punch the judge that mandated the visit.

If that was the same incident when Cory beat MR, he could have been swinging at Cory instead of Dylan. That part wasn't very clear.

This is very sad.

ETA: In reading further, it seems to be Dylan. I haven't watched the video yet.

This just gives me such a sinking feeling. Poor Dylan.

This is extremely disturbing and heartbreaking...

If these revelations are any indication of what was still going on, the picture is getting clearer and unfortunately darker, imo. Really sickening, all around.

It was independence day, and he was going through a very rough divorce. Really drunk doesn't necessarily mean alcoholic.

NOT that I at all rule that out as an possibility!!!

I wonder if he was invited there (like a party) and just got out of hand, or was there to shove such an act in her face to be vindictive (screw you for divorcing me!).
