This is just the point. The parents had shared custody for years, the divorce was 5 years ago. The custody had changed recently due to the mom moving several hours away. WHY would he have a motive to murder his son? It makes no sense!

All this talk of him having problems dealing with his ex moving on with her life is only speculation, it's not fact. They both admit they don't see eye-to-eye, but how many divorced couples do? If they all got along, they wouldn't be getting a divorce!

There is a history of violence but not towards his kids, only of his older son beating him up. Many men will hit and beat their wives but treat their children very well and would never dream of hurting one.

I don't get why the man would have any motive, that's all. Did he ever pursue getting full custody of Dylan?? Since he works out of town a lot, would he even want to have him there full time? It's not making sense to me.

I don't think he had any motive to kill his son. I havent seen many posts saying that he set out intentionally to harm him. I think the question is about his temper. Was he volatile enough to blow up and injure his son, unintentionally?

When my cousin was about 14 he and his father got into a physical fight because of a lot of built up issues between them. His Dad was divorced and never showed him much attention and disappointed him many times. But finally, at the birthday party for dad's new kid, by his new wife, the dad got angry because my cousin would not call him dad. He called him by his first name. And he did that because he said his dad had never acted like ' a dad.' Anyway they came to blows, and luckily the people looking on were able to stop them quickly.

What if MR told Dylan to stop texting and he replied " Make me." ? Would MR grab the cell away from him?

RSOs are under constant pressure to have alibis and to have verified accounts of their whereabouts. And I bet once they heard about the missing kid, they instantly got their ducks in a row. They keep receipts and they keep logs and notes to be ready in case they get that knock on the door.

I don't personally know any RSOs, but my friends husband is a PO, and he goes out to check on his 'clients' in cases that need verification. And he says that most of them keep notes and phone numbers handy, when he arrives to check their alibis.

That's true. I was thinking more along the lines of the overnight hours or during anytime when RSO's might not be obligated to check in or have receipts of where they were or who they were with.

Either way, I know what you mean and I'll bet they are more conscientious than your average Joe, or in this case your average MR, who wouldn't have a reason to give ones' self an alibi or leave a papertrail overnight.

However, LE was still able to make the statement they made to the public which essentially assures the community that there isn't an RSO running around abducting children, and with what is alot of focus on the last person to be with Dylan they're unable to make that same exclusion on MR.

I'm still updating as we speak - so keep checking back to make sure you have the latest and/or if you have problems accessing it - I may be trying to reupload the latest version. I'll need another 15-20 minutes before I attempt that, but feel free to view it now.

On another note (and to be updated in my timeline) I also, just noticed in an article that Cheese recently posted that it verifies that MR's poly was inconclusive but could mean a number of things.

I hadn't read that in writing before, but here it is.

Your timeline rocks! Everyone on this thread should read it and refer to it when links are asked for. Thank you!!

You take your time and update until your heart is content. :D I will check back as often as you ask me to.

All I ask is that you please not be shy and ever keep anything as valuable as that so secret again! LOL

I've seen a lot of timelines in my years here but yours may be the very best one I have ever seen! Complete with links and cites. Absolutely invaluable!

I promise I won't hold back ever again.... :blushing: Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot.

One thing that bothers me also is in reference to the video that reveals the "history of family abuse". These documents are very disturbing and not a pleasant report, but why are some of the documents 'sealed' and others are not? Why couldn't this reporter get all the docs? That seems worrisome to me. jmo

  • #486
I believe some documents are sealed, so reporters can not get them.

Fellow posters, I need your help. I'm new at this. For those of you who have braved looking at the timeline on dropdoc, are you easily able to read it (font size)? When I downloaded it for the first time to view it myself, I was having trouble reading it. I'm using Word to type and to download and view. It seemed very small. Anyone else have that problem or is it just me?
Thanks for any help!

I am not sure how credible this claim is. LE wasn't releasing the results of Lie Detector Tests. So where did they get this information? Nancy Grace show?

That's okay. I agree but TXJan is excellent at noting such in her timeline. Even if they did get it from the Nancy Grace show, it is one of those "here is the info, consider the source" Heck, MSM messes stuff up all the time but I think we have all gotten to where we "consider the source" around here now. ;)

I'm not sure. It was just the first time I saw that. Let the reader beware...

You are correct, but I was referring back to where his mother said his phone was old and sometimes when he texted it literally smoked. I did not mean his battery was dead I meant his phone was dead, gonedy as in would not work and would not hold a charge. jmo

And before anyone says that his dad would know that and not try to call him. That can be explained by my own personal experience thinking my batter was just dead when in fact the battery was gone. I did not know it until the next morning when I tried to get my phone off the charger and it was still a dead battery.

But why would Dylan pack it up and take it with him if it was broken beyond repair?

And if so, wouldnt he use the land line and call his mom and tell her his cell was broken? Or call his dad and say he needed a ride to the radio shack?
Or call his friends to say his cell was broken, he'd catch a ride later after he went to town to get a new battery. He might not know his friends numbers without his cell, but I bet he knew his moms number.

And he had the computer right there too. He could have shot mom an email, to say his cell was dead.

I downloaded your doc and saved it in Word. The font was much bigger when I saved it than it appeared on in the dropbox link.

It seems like you could probably increase the font size once from the Word program?

And that is why 300 people turned out to search with MR and his family for his lost son? jmo

I'm on a tablet and when I downloaded it the font looked fine to me.

Yes, Dylan's plan was to meet friends at Bayfiled. I suppose MR could have thought that since Dylan missed his ride to Bayfield, he could have decided to meet with Vallecito friend instead.

That makes sense to me. Walking to a friend's in Vallecito would be more probable than him walking to Bayfield.

I have a suspicion they got that from ER's contradictory statements on Nancy Grace.

AFAIK LE has not released the results of any of the lie detector results from either of the parents. That should not be included in the timeline at all.

Great post; thank you.

I think the article about Dylan's stepbrother is also important (for some reason my "search" feature isn't working?). It's the one with the picture of him with his new baby. IMO, it's important because the stepbrother talks about the broken relationship _he_ had with his father, and kind of cools (IMO) the speculation by some that Mrs. Redwine is responsible for the strained relationships between Dylan, Corey, and Mr. Redwine. This young man was from a different marriage.

Again, great post. How awful.

Stepbrother? Do you mean the son of Mark's by another woman? He would be a half-brother to Dylan, not stepbrother, if they share the same dad.

Beach, the way I understand it is, Cory and Dylan were born to Mark and Elaine, so they are full brothers. I think Cory's last name is Redwine.

1. He planned to buy a new battery.
2. Why would he call his mom to tell her his cell was broken?
3. How could he call his friends?
4. Maybe he knew his mom's number but why would he call her just to tell her his cell was broken? or email her?
5. And because of the fractured relationship with his dad he probably did not know his cell number.

I think we discussed this a few threads ago, but most of us just program numbers into our cell phones. If the cell phone is dead, we aren't able to retrieve the phone numbers anymore.

Thanks, I think I'm going to do that. What time do you need the updated
document by? I need a few more minutes ...
