I don't know. Someone named "Horvath" posted saying her son is DR's half-brother and had a pic with CR and two others. Her page is locked down, so I couldn't look thru the rest of her pics and info to determine if this is MR Jr. or another son.

It's ok to sleuth MR, but I think his sons are still off limits.

I know that Mark Redwine stated when Dylan went missing. This is what Dan Bender said.

ETA: "Colorado's Missing Children reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children"

this is what was reported by CBI to the NCMEC:

since CBI reported the missing date to them as Monday, Nov 19- this is the date I am going with until the CBI retracts and/or changes it...( have to start somewhere! )

Right. I was looking at the facebook find dylan site. She put it out there.

Okay, now I really am confused. Does that mean that if you want to post something here, all you have to do is say it on a Facebook page related to the case and then refer to it? I'm not saying you did that, but could you go on there and ask a question about someone (family, friend, neighbor or whatever) and then bring the answer back here, rather than looking it up yourself (sleuthing on Google)?

I don't think anyone is sleuthing the sons, in any real sense of the word. The interest seems to be in just getting a more complete picture of the family.

So, I guess this means Dylan did make it to Dads that night.. His scent must have been in the house in order for LE to confirm that.. Right??

Check the date, that was from early on when the runaway scenario was the most plausible.

With the search efforts intensifying, Nick said the most difficult part is the scrutiny involving his estranged father, with whom he had a fragmented childhood.

“I’m trying to find out who my father is as I try to deal with the loss of a brother,” he said

Seems like NR has done well in life despite not having Mark in his life; which may have been a plus....JMO

Indeed he has. IMHO it doesn't speak well of a person when all of their adult children are estranged from them. That can't all be attributed to "parental alienation". Especially when the children have different mothers....unless of course they are all engaged in some massive conspiracy.

As far as an abduction, LE says they do not think it is a SO abduction. What else would be the motivation for abducting a 13 year old boy? I just can't think of one. At all.

I see abduction as a theory way down on the list. But unfortunately, the list isn't that long.

Something happened to Dylan on Sunday night just after 8pm. Where was Dylan during that time period?
I think the answer to that question is going to answer many of the questions we have.

I know Mark said something about Dylan's blanket or sheets still laying jumbled on the couch but I can't remember where that quote was. I have assumed from the beginning that he probably fell asleep on the couch and a "communal" (for lack of a better word) throw was laid over him, explaining the lack of scent items. I have several throws and they seem to get dragged around all over the house. I even have one that my son's gf loaned me out of her car when my mom was having emergency surgery so it is possible there is DNA on it from people I have never even met.

Communal is a great word- much better than germy or contaminated :)
I really do not remember sheets specifically- that 's why I asked. Here are the scent links with answers from Sarx, etc.

I dunno. I was answering a question upthread. If I did it wrong, I'm sure a mod will snip me for it.

I hate to disappoint a few people here (who I won't name), but it's my turn. I think it's time for a bit of a time out before I say something I regret later - 1000 apologies aren't nearly as good as not saying something in the first place. I really hope that I'm underestimating MR and he's stronger than I think he is. Every time I check the news on this case, I expect to see that he told the press that he couldn't take all of the accusations and insinuations, and then committed suicide. The sad thing is, that even if it happens, 90% of people will say it's just the final proof of his guilt.

I'll be back when I cool off or some kind of evidence is found. Enjoy! :seeya:

You are correct, he said blankets.

The next morning, Dylan was sleeping on the couch where Mark Redwine now sits and where Dylan's blankets still lie jumbled

Do you have a link for that? I thought I read that they were considering abduction and separate unrelated to that they said that the local RSO's had been accounted for. I don't mean that snarky at all- I just want to make sure I read right!

There's a big difference between local RSO's being accounted for and it not being a SO abduction. If I remember right Ornby & Hornbeck's assailant had not been a RSO, but he was indeed a SO.

This is probably discussed back several threads but what's one thing a kid (or adult) HAS to do in a 12hour time period? Bathroom. I can see a 13 year old boy maybe not unpacking toothbrush and toothpaste and would he even pack a hairbrush? But we've all gotta use the toilet.

I don't know how many bathrooms dad's house has- not listed on trulia or zillow, but would finger prints from September be clearly different than finger prints from Sunday/Monday in November, even 10 days later when they searched the house?

Especially if dad has another bathroom. And for the first few days after Dylan went missing iirc he said he was pretty much alone and without support until family came from out of town/state. Either way, it's not like we're talking about a public bathroom in Central Park with heavy traffic in and out.

JMO but I don't see dad as the kind of guy who was sitting around "grief cleaning" his bathroom with Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner to calm his nerves from Monday the 19th until the search warrant was executed, so I'd think any prints including Dylan's should be preserved and waiting to be lifted by the CSI's.

I question whether Dylan made it to his father's house...did any neighbors see him? I don't think he wandered off on his own. What was MR going to the attorney about? Does MR have steady employment?

I don't think a single person here *wants* MR to be guilty or see any harm come to him. In ranking scenarios

1) Dylan is safely hidden by family
2) Dylan ran away & friends are covering
3) Dylan left willingly & an accident occurred
4) Dylan was abducted from the home or road after MR left
5) MR harmed Dylan and panicked
6) MR premeditated harming Dylan

I hope it is 1 or 2 but I can't make the facts fit there without an insane amount of coincidences. I want to be wrong though and I don't think I'm alone in feeling that way.

Thank you for this. I've been reading back through MSM articles and I noticed something I hadn't picked up on before. Every LE statement I've found thus far with regard to Dylan's cell phone is in reference to lack of activity since he's been missing. Does anyone have a link in which LE comments about lack of activity since 8pm Sunday? TIA
