I know a LOT of CDL drivers. I have never met one who is willing to risk their livelyhood. But then they aren't young guys either, they are older guys who've made a career out of it- they know that it's this or walmart cashier. They protect their best access to making good money IME.

My DH has a co-worker who put in his two weeks notice because he got an OTR driving job. Three days into the two weeks notice, he had to come crawling back to the boss to ask for his job back.

He got a DUI and his license was suspended. The trucking company let him go before he ever began.

weren't you supposed to be getting some sleep?

I hope no ones been setting off any alerts that woke you

Was it confirmed that MR was driving a truck? I thought I read he worked in the field, not a truck driver. tia

Maybe you can't answer this, but I have got to ask. When you were on the search team and with all those follks did you get an inkling that anything found was of any value and pertained to DR? I am not asking for details, just a glimmer of hope that might have been talked about. tia

No, I didn't. All I heard was that "items" were found. We were looking for anything out of place ... anything. We found nothing out of place. We turned over more downed trees/limbs than I can count. I did look up in the trees for awhile . I remembered that guy, Matt Hoffman, that put those bodies in that hollowed out tree and almost fell off a small cliff while looking waaaaaay up there. I quit doing that.

At the risk of posting without a link, as far as I can deduct via FB sleuthing...

Mark Redwine and first wife had 2 boys - initials MAR and then Nick Redwine (who has been mentioned in MSM)

Mike Hall and first wife had 2 kids - a boy and girl <modsnip>

Mark Redwine and Elaine had 2 boys - Cory and Dylan

Hope this info is okay to post. All can be found by linking to Dylan's FB page and each other.

Clear as mud, right?

I sleuthed the family tree and posted my finds, but my post was snipped by Salem??? :( Can someone verify what we are allowed to post in regards to the families. It was my understanding we could sleuth how many children they each had and the marriage dates and that was IT. My post did not go beyond that.

Let me check and I will let you know.
Okay, I know the parameters are confusing. I was able to restore the info regarding MH having 2 children from his first marriage. See my note in the edit line of your original post. That is as far as we're going to go as far as sleuthing MH. (We don't even need to use initials of his children from his first marriage as they are totally irrelevant to Dylan's case. Just trying to protect anonymity of any innocent non-players as best we can.)

Thanks Ransom. I was hoping. I think it would be hard to contain any excitement in the crowd if something of importance was found. Oh, and glad you quit looking up into the trees. ty

they MUST be. I hope so. I know that can take some time. WHY did they wait 10 days to get forensics? Even if they didn't suspect MR, there would have been so much info in the house to go on, it is just negligent to not do forensics in the last place a person was known to be.

I So Agree!!!:banghead:

I wish LE would tell us something...anything.
Press conference PLEASE!

Does anyone from WS ever contact a local reporter in these cases and say hey would you come visit with us and clear up some of your TYPO's etc, so we know what's really going on because we 're not sure after reading your articles? :P

I have wondered the same. Where do all the reporters get their info. Do they just call up and ask because there sure has not been any PC's. Maybe we should try it too. jmo

I think I saw last night where someone (forgive me..I can't recall who right now! :iamashamed:) was emailing a reporter from the Durango newspaper to thank them for their coverage and invite them to read and comment here.

We have reporters in several cases that follow WS. (in fact, probably most of them here) Some register and become verified so they can comment; others prefer to remain anonymous and lurk quietly. It is really a plus for the reporters because they can link and usually their site gets a lot of hits.

I left myself wide open for that one, didn't I? lol Let me ponder it awhile. Not sure how to go about it, but I will figure something out--maybe. :waitasec:

I haven't posted in Dylan's thread but I have read along some. I've not caught up to the current pages but noticed there was some discussion about flow charts, spreadsheets, etc... to show relationships, marriages, timelines.

I've used this for another case that I follow. It is an amazing tool if one of you would like to create a tree for your "connect the dots" endeavors.

Please accept my apologies if I am too far behind and someone already suggested Pearltrees.

If LE would answer this question :

Do you have nothing and are too embarrassed to say so ? OR
Do you have almost everything and just trying to get it sorted before telling ?

I would be so happy ! :)

I contacted a reporter covering the Johnathan Foster case in Houston. I had info on Mona Nelson's rap sheet. I posted the info here and I had to delete it since it came from a private site. I gave the info to the reporter the info and tada it was in the paper the next day!!

Sorry about the harsh warning. I removed it this morning. I'm obviously not too cheery and patient when my phone keeps waking me up. lol
