I knew it was Dylan’s second trip to his father’s but I didn’t realize it was his first trip since his mother was awarded primary custody until Kamille pointed it out.SBM
Do we have any verified information that Dylan chose to live with his mother, or even that his father wanted primary custody? From what ER has said, MR was on the road a lot, why would he want (or why would a court consider) primary custody for a parent who is on the road working, when there is a parent who he could live with who is home most nights?
From what I understood, MR wanted visitation, not full custody. If I missed something, please correct me. I just don't remember ever seeing anything that said MR wanted primary custody, or that DR chose which parent he would live with the majority of the time.
Denise Hess told NG Dylan’s parents began fighting after the Judge awarded primary custody of Dylan to his mother <modsnip>.
GRACE: Or one of the issues they fought about Dylan?
HESS: Not really to my knowledge until Elaine was awarded custody of Dylan and then Mark went and asked for visitation rights. That`s the only thing I know of. Other than that –
I assumed because Dylan’s first trip went okay, he wasn’t in any imminent danger when he was alone with his father, but after I learned Elaine Redwine won primary custody of Dylan and Dylan testified at the hearing, I realized Mark was a real threat to his son.
My response to MR’s statement that his wife has all the answers is that during the custody hearing Elaine explained to the Judge why she was “the better parent for Dylan” and the Judge agreed that Dylan “belonged” with his mother not his father, so Elaine had all the right answers to convince the Judge she should be her son’s primary custody, not his father Mark.
Obviously MR can’t take his anger out on the adults involved and beat them up.
