SGT. DAN BENDER, LA PLATA CTY SHERIFF`S OFFICE (via telephone): The investigators checked at the different locations that Mark Redwine said he was at during that time, including a meeting or two in Durango, I believe. And those were confirmed.

It's interesting that LE are willing and able to verify where MR was on Monday morning but they can't or won't do the same for Dylan.

Wasn't the truck in the Horman case returned also? And yet nothing seems to have been ruled about that case, it seems. LE processes things, just like they do houses, and give them back, in lots of cases.

Why is LE looking from 6 pm......if they know via text that Dylan was still ok and apparently where he was supposed to be at 8 pm when he text the friend,, certainly at 7 when he texted mom. So why 6pm ?

Maybe LE isn't 100% certain that Dylan was the one sending those texts?

Well actually that is according to what LE have been told. LE do not know that he went missing between those hours any more than the rest of us do. Unless they have verified with certainty that he was lying on the couch at MR`s house at 7:30am. They have not said publicly that this has been confirmed.

They haven`t and probably can`t confirm that MR was there at 7:30am either. They can only confirm where he was from the time of his first stop in Durango.

The info is from the La Plata County Sheriff's office and they put out the NEW poster with that time line. I guess you could call them about your concern.

ETA: Never mind, I saw it. Someone claiming that Dylan is in Nebraska, in dirty clothes and wondering if his parents are okay. Yeah, that makes sense, post it on FB rather than contact LE.

I agree and knowing boys I am sure they all believed they would talk about when they met up with each other.

Those boys were Dylans friends and they knew the situation and what he was going through.

I am sure they have been a wealth of information to LE.

He said Dylan's dejected-appearing father Mark Redwine occasionally comes in to buy cigarettes.

"He's lost a lot of weight," Schank said.

Dylan's mother Elaine Redwine finally had to return to her home in Monument Sunday night after spending a month in the Durango area holding out hope that her son would be found.

Dan Bender, a spokesman for the LaPlata County Sheriff's Office, said three local law enforcement agencies, along with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are chasing every tip and clue but at this point have no suspect.
