Considering the place I found the photo, and seeing this years Christmas photo, I believe that dog to be in ER home(and much larger now). As for letting kids do this, on trips I have often had children want to try it(all mine are huge so no work). Just saying if in a vehicle for an hour or so you might do something of the sort...but your right he would of ended up in the drivers seat side probably, if in his fathers truck.

I'm not reading too much into the photo at all. My 13yo (who is much taller and bigger all round than Dylan) regularly unsnaps his seatbelt and stretches out on the back seat for a snooze during long car trips. I will mention though that the dog in the new Xmas photo looks like the same curly haired one that Dylan was holding as a pup in a previously posted Xmas snap from years ago.

I am wondering now if that "A Boy's Life" article that gave us so much new info a while back, may have made an error when they mentioned his father recalling the road trip to Boston. Perhaps it was his stepfather? It's just that his brother has posted pics in an album named " road trip" which includes some shots taken at a baseball stadium and some baseball identities. Maybe some of you recognise where they are?

I haven't doubted that MR could have taken Dylan to Boston in August as mentioned in that article, but maybe it was a typo after all?

12/17 - ankle bracelet is cut off & he goes missing

12/21 or 12/22 - after stand off w/LE he was taken into custody

12/24 - he is again free & has cut off his bracelet. He killed himself after a 2nd standoff with LE.

I hate to admit this, but I am going to give a little history about these so you understand the way these things work. They go off when leaving and go off when coming(several family member I have had them on when I was a teen). They do not track were your at so much. As long as they have a reason to be away from home, and a form signed they can come and go with approval of PO. Does that mean that is where they are NO. As for cutting it off, that keeps them from tracking them somewhere(relative did that too, and was on the run for many years). If it is on, the PO can drive by where this person is said to be at any given time to make sure they are there with a little divice, do they do this, not very often.

I found article that says PO notified Sheriffs office last week he cut it off.


The Sheriff’s Department had been notified by Probation and Parole last week that Boyd had somehow managed to cut off his ankle monitor.

The 1st of those 4 pics was likely taken in Detroit. That is the Hard Core Pawn crew.

The 2nd pic is of Jimmie Johnson and I have no clue where it may have been taken.

The 3rd pic was likely at the Baseball Hall of Fame according to my husband and that is in Cooperstown, NY.

The 4th pic says it is of Todd Helton's father. Todd currently plays pro ball in CO. He has spent his entire pro career there. He attended college at UT.

Thanks for finding this - the articles have confused me though. The update on Dec 22 says:

Following a SWAT standoff in the Aztec area, parole absconder Byron Bradford is back in custody without injury to himself or law enforcement officers.


Then 2days later in the Durango Herald:

AZTEC – Authorities say a registered sex offender wanted on a probation violation killed himself after a nearly eight-hour barricade situation near Aztec... (snipped by me) ... Sheriff’s officials say Boyd somehow managed to cut off his ankle monitor. They got a tip that he was at a home near Aztec around 10:30 a.m. Monday and that’s when the barricade situation started.

Maybe inaccurate/poor reporting by the ABQJournal in the first instance? I think it's important to check out all this info as I still lean towards Dylan having been abducted - there are a heck of a lot of creeps out there who manage to evade detection for the longest time.

Agreed - IMO they kill themselves sometimes because they feel so darn sorry for themselves - not out of guilt or because they are sorry for what they have done. I hope they look very closely at where he has been for the past weeks.

Yes but if you read here he was letting out propane before SWAT ever showed(I think he was thinking this already).

it will be interesting to see what type of information LE receives from those that may have assisted Boyle...if they will talk at all

I do hope a local will take one for the team and suffer the serious hardship of watching tonight so the rest of us can be filled in. Bonus points if you can do it without drooling.
