It is amazing how few facts are known still when Dylan has been gover over 6 weeks .

Sixty people looked for Dylan Redwine around Vallecito Reservoir and Forest Lakes on Thursday. They also passed out fliers and knocked on doors seeking clues about his whereabouts.

Members of La Plata County Search & Rescue searched for Dylan Monday night and all day Tuesday, using ground search teams and search dogs.

The search area includes the shoreline around Vallecito Lake, several small subdivisions, two county roads, steep wooded hillsides and hiking trails.

Many of the homes in the area are seasonal, while some are occupied year around.

ETA: I don't think this is understood? So many of the homes around Vallecito Reservoir are seasonal. The homes are 2nd homes whether the owners live in-state or out of state.

Thanks Ransom, I've brought this up a couple of times. Some of these are 2nd homes to people, not their primary residence. Some of them rent them out for holidays, like Thanksgiving. So there could be people there that aren't usually there. If an SO was someone who rented up there and saw an opportunity, well, there you are. No one keeps tabs on their comings and goings, do they?

I do not believe the story about the fishing pole . Why would Dylan go off alone on his first day in town to go fishing by himself with all his belongings on him when he had plans with Ryan . It just makes no logical sense!!!

We do not know for a fact that MR went into a rage that Sunday night. I see it referenced a lot, but never once has it been confirmed by MSM that he went into a fit, rage or display any type of anger. That is speculation.

question, if you were to arrive and already have your phone out of your bag, would you even bother to grab it if you were cold? I mean he was wearing shorts it was freezing the night he arrived, had been getting into the 20s at night. My kids would leave it in the truck.

Do you mean Dylan left the phone in Dads truck ?

Police have confirmed his alibi for that morning.

That still leaves a whole night he presumably has no alibi for.

I have ATT. I couldn't text nor receive/send calls while in Vallecito on Dec. 8th. One peep I was with (during the search) had Verizon. NOTHING worked up there. We tried on CR500 right in front of MR house. Zip, nada, nothing worked. The calls/texts did come in later as we got to lower elevation coming into Durango where the Search Hdqtrs was located.

I want to throw a theory out there about the fishing pole. Is it possible that IF something happened between DR and MR that resulted in DR ending up in the lake, that MR had enough guilt to mention the fishing pole in hopes that the body would be found sooner rather than later? I see this as a possibility especially if MR was confident that nothing would lead back to him?

I think the cell phone not being used after 8 pm Sunday is something MR cant
explain!

But I wonder if this lawyer is the lawyer that got him his court award, ed visit?
If it is, why would he schedule an apt when the child was there visiting his dad unless Dylan was supposed to go with him maybe!

MR attorney of record is in Cortez, CO. NOT Durango/Bayfield area.

Yep it is what some of us think.


One of my theory's is for MR this trip just snow balled out of control .

Dylan landing and not being happy and wanting to go off and see friends on his first night . I think for most parents your son wanting to go off and spend time with your friends when you have just landed would be a kick in the teeth after not seeing them for a couple of months. IMHO ( can anybody see a parent not being hurt by this?)

Then the texting friends and not playing attention to you and more than likely Dylan being sullen due to being forced to change his plans .

And as the night goes on it gets worse and it ends in a argument and Dylan by the sounds of it is not the type to back down and will push which makes MR even angrier .
