I recall seeing this asked before, but I can't remember if there was a definitive answer, does MR have a landline and/or a computer?

TIA.

Yes to both!

Re: the discussion about TES:

Not name dropping, but Tim Miller is an old family friend, and for years we have participated in fundraisers and benefits for TES. It is important to remind everyone that "Texas Eqquisearch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which is funded solely by donations." She claims otherwise:

Thank you .. Now i am more than likely barking up the wrong tree here but that page is to " help find Dylan" so why if LE are doing such a bang up job has the time line never been changed ?

It seems to me that if LE could prove anything then the time line on the facebook would change. LE do not need to come out and say anything to the general public but you would think if they knew anything the facebook page would give news on it ?

Another day and it appears we have no more answers than all previous days. The silence from LE is deafening and the media hasn't done a very good job of follow up either IMO. So sad. :(

I came here specifically because the media coverage is nill! I am shocked. I live in Denver. We have a missing child in our area and it's no longer newsworthy? What's going on here?

But maybe it wasn't MR that was with him? Maybe it was someone else?

I know how this looks and I most definitely understand why some are so suspicious, but there are still other possibilities. We have seen so many cases where there is just some weird twist. At this point, there just isn't enough information to conclude one way or another, for me, anyway. There is certainly enough info to make me lean..... but I'm still sitting on that fence. Personally I see two highly probable scenarios (and many really weak ones) based on the info we have. I can argue both into the ground and still get nowhere :(

I wish LE would lighten up a little and give us something, anything to go on. I think we are in the "wait and watch" mode right now, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what is taking so long for LE to at least give us a hint as to what the heck they are thinking.

So true Boss. I've wondered and posted threads ago about a possible acquaintance of MR's that may have stayed around and knew Dylan was coming. Maybe they have strong reason to believe it's this fellow and are watching him. It's so sad and desperate but I want to believe he is alive !

So glad to see some more local perspective on here all9ofus! I'm in Colorado but in the Denver area. I haven't been to your part of the state for several years, its beautiful there.

Yesterday, someone was posting about the area around Vallecito having undesirable people (my words). What are your thoughts about this?

I would just say that the people around the Vallecito area are very tight knit. Many of the families have been there for a very long time. During the winter they are very isolated even from the tourist element. Kind of cliquish is how I would describe it.

Nicely put, thank you all9ofus!:seeya:

Or are they hoping he'll eventually end up downstream? I would think they got expert advice on what would happen if a body were near the dam grates and maybe they were told to wait it out and he would eventually surface some where? I know the temps of the water make a difference as far as a body surfacing too.

I don't know for sure but I don't believe that the grate system has openings that are large enough for a body to pass thru. From what I understand they act as a filter system. Years ago I would hear stories of divers being sent down to clean. The grates

That is pretty much the picture I have in my mind about that area, and am glad that is the case. The posts yesterday kind of seemed to unfairly paint that area in an unfair light. IMO

I haven't been on in several days, been praying hard for them to find Dylan. Nothing new it seems, and not alot of information. Can say we are seeing more and more posters in different places. I think there are alot of different things that could have gone on here, and pray that no matter what they are we find Dylan alive...all I have now is prayer, and hope.

I have seen many discount so many things, and unless they live there or near there, there are so MANY possiablities to this that many of us could not even imagine.

It is okay to discuss a case with a mod that is participating in the thread - no worries :) as long as the discussion is NOT about moderation.

And yes, I agree about the phone. But I can also see how that phone might have gone dead, because I have an older phone and the battery is wearing out on it. The battery begins to drain after just one phone call - BUT the battery does last longer if I am only texting.... so..... again, I go back and forth with this and run it over and over in my head. I can see a 13 year old not texting and I can see a 13 year old that never stops texting. I think both sides are plausible. That's why I can't get off the fence, LOL.

If LE would just tell us they believe Dylan made it to MR's house. But one of the articles that mentioned the cereal bowl, etc. had a "no comment" from LE. (I suppose I need to go dig up the link again. I've posted it previously and DH is on the way home, so please forgive me for not finding it right now.)
There was a landline and a computer with internet per ER. (Another link I'll need to find later.)

Yea, maybe the cellphone was completely dead, and he didn't know any phone numbers for the landline, and he didn't know the password for the computer, and Dylan walked out of that house with his backpack full of stuff (and a fishing pole!), and he immediately got abducted. But my hinky meter went off the first week when Dad questioned why they didn't look in the lake sooner. I can't get past that feeling (gut reaction/intuition) that a fishing 'accident' was staged. :moo:

Come on, LE, answer one question: Was Dylan ever at the house?! :banghead:

Where are you, Dylan?!
