Did they pull off the road? No one drove by to see this grown man beating his 5'0 son to death? If MR was in a crazed fit of rage, do you think a kid would willingly get out of the vehicle? Did MR drag him out of the vehicle?

I have thought they got out of the truck too. Actually, what has occurred to me is that dad got mad at Dylan for not wanting to be with him, told him to get out, threw his backpack out with him, told him to find his own way to his friends, drank some in his truck, got out himself, chased Dylan, and Dylan lost the battle. No evidence in the truck. Then MR spent all night and most of the next day figuring out his story, which included a missing fishing pole.
But of course we don't know for sure, but this scenario would fit IMO.

What do you mean, "got out of the truck"?

I think they had a fight on the way to MRs house Dylan wanted out maybe wanted to go home! I dont think anything happend in the truck or MRs house.

Dad pulls off the road phone gets smashed
Dylan get out of the truck grabs his stuff and walks off dad goes after him and things get ruff. JMO

Ok. I just wanted to throw in the addition that she doesn't really know him anymore, so take with a grain of salt rather than fact as some tend to do. :)

That's kinda' snarky against a fellow poster (which I believe you didn't mean to be). If we don't want to "hear" what another poster has to say, we can "roll" right past their post. But some folks read every post.

I didn't take that as snarky at all.

I felt it needed to be said, because we do have new people coming in and asking about things that were hashed out threads ago. Just this morning someone asked to see the texts again when they had just been posted a page prior.

When you have 21 threads on a missing person, new folks are going to join in the discussion....new posters add a "fresh look".

Happy New Year! :seeya:

In order to make an abduction scenario work, there has to be a lot of caveats to the story.

In order to make homicide by MR work, there has to be a lot of caveats to the story. (i.e. he got out of the truck to commit the crime, he committed the crime without getting blood or cadaver evidence on him or his clothes- known from his home and car turning up nothing helpful to the investigation)

Either way we look at it, I think "most simple case scenarios" have been ruled out. Something happened, obviously, but there is no doubt in mind there were a series of circumstances lining up to lead us to where we are.

  • #805
Yes Dylan would get out of the Truck!
Esp if dad smashed his phone!

He could open the door and dad would have to stop the truck dylan gets out dad follows...

And I do not think anyone drove by them but thats jmo.

It is possible that he drove somewhere out of the way and Dylan's body was left wherever the attack occurred. That would explain the absence of evidence of an attack in the truck or home.

Sorry because of the time difference ( Its 7.20pm here) , i would of read the page before i asked this morning and would of totally forgot it was there.

I just wanted to make a point about the texts and the fact it made no sense when i listen to MR's version of events that morning IMHO.

Not to worry, my friend. I didn't mind reposting - after all - that's what friends are for. If reposting is bothersome for readers, scroll and roll is the saying...

as far as no evidence being found at his home...law enforcement did confirm that. But to my knowledge, they did not confirm that no evidence was found in his vehicles.

here's the list of texts

At 5:40 p.m., Dylan tells his friend that his plane has landed, and Ryan asks him how the flight went.

“Weired my head went numb from all the vibrations,” Dylan replies.

Soon after, they begin making arrangements to see each other. The texts, provided by Ryan, are unedited.

Don't forget that when things got rough, they got rough without any blood or cadaver scent getting on MR and transferring to his car. And you also have to account for them to have happened upon a location that would be distant enough that nobody has happened upon the body or crime scene- because he couldn't have transported a deceased person in his truck that was cleared.

It's possible, sure, it's just not all that more "obvious" than any of the alternative scenarios that LE are considering.

In that extended video, MR even said something about maybe going bowling with Dylan and his friends. I immediately wondered if he'd ever done anything with Dylan's friends before. It just didn't sound truthful to me. It sounded like he was pretending to be a good father. :moo:

Yes and deflection IMO.
Again, all the time and money dad spent to have Dylan for the holiday and Dylan is focused on his friends. That's what set the rest in motion and it spiraled out of control. Jmo
Possibly also fueled with alcohol.

Exactly and maybe he figured Dylans dad said no again!

I would love to know what these kids thought of His Dad!
What kind of guy he is!

BBM

I think they did because R asked Dylan somethink like "did your dad say no"

Didn't AZG say she hasn't talked to MR in something like 12 years? How would she know who his friends are and what he does with family and whatnot?

Well she could tell us what the man was like, she was married to the dude!

I honestly was not being snarky. AZG has verified poster for this case under her name. Some people, and yes I'm glad to have fresh eyes, may take her word as gospel because she's verified. All I'm trying to say but apparently failing miserably, is she is not the expert on the MR of today.

The news said nothing helpful was found from the search warrant on his house, true.

It's possible forensics were found in the car, but it's unlikely considering how quickly he got his truck back.

Only time will tell- but typically LE keep the vehicles far longer when there is evidence in them.

Yes I caught on to that also like they expected that!

So there would have been evidence along Florida Road of such a struggle. There'd be blood or some kind of bodily fluid. There are also a lot of houses on that road, meaning nobody saw anything at 8pm on a Sunday evening.

Basically it requires a lot of coincidences to happen.

I believe they do here. Target does.
Also our walmarts have mcdonalds inside of them.

She's also his ex-wife. I know few divorced people who think highly of their ex's, otherwise they'd still be married. MOO

What makes you think hes any different today than when he was married to her?
