There were comments on the FDR FaceBook saying that he claims to have called Dylan three times that morning.
Oh Wow, so he didn't rush home to find out why he didn't answer/ I wonder which phone he called.

The texts between Dylan and Ryan were provided to MSM by Ryan and his family. LE had nothing to do with that. Now if MR wanted to provide his texts to Dylan to the media I'm sure they would be more than happy to publish those too. It's not a matter of LE allowing it or not.
I said in my first comment about it that even I thought it pretty unlikely. I'm just offering another scenario to the loads we've already presented. Every scenario seems unlikely at this point because there is no evidence pointing to anything, so whenever we do find out what happened ( if we do) I bet we are like WOW that is so unlikely/coincidental etc.
I thought this scenario would explain why no 'crime scene' per se, no evidence in the truck or at home of any foul play happening.
It was a short flight so i doubt it would of worn him out.
ER didn't talk to the press until Friday.
snipped by meI tend to question the sanity of people who walk around with a smile on their face at all times, especially in the Walmarts.
.
Why is that relevant?

Short flight, but...
I think this was the flight that was supposed to arrive at 5pm but instead arrived at 6pm, right? That would have left Colorado Springs at 1:40pm, transfer in Denver.
So:
Arrive at airport at 12:30 (hour before flight to check in, get through security, etc.)
Short (46 min) flight to Denver
Hour and 15 minute layover in Denver
Depending on how the flight was delayed, an additional hour either in the airport or on the plane
Hour + 11m flight to Durango
Arrives at 6pm
5 and a half hours in airports and on airplanes could have worn him out. Connections just *kill* me, as I have to sit around in an airport with nothing to do. If he had to wait for the plane to Durango, he would have been sitting in DEN for two hours.
Well YES I'm sure it is a crime. But in his own mind he may not view it as such.
I have friends whose dad, a heavy drinker, often pulled over on the highway and told them to get out of the car if they were arguing with him or each other and he was tired of hearing it. He would come back for them in half an hour or so. I'm sure that was a crime. But he didn't even INTEND for them to die. They were teens and if something had happened to them when they were walking on the highway it would surely be his fault, negligence or something. But I don't know that it would be murder, more like negligent homicide or involuntary manslaughter or something.
It's every bit as relevant as MR not talking to the press until Sunday.
That is, not at all.

Yes, true. Here is the link of the report of her interview and the heart wrenching picture of Elaine and Cory.

http://www.denverpost.com/recommended/ci_22063185MR was quoted in this story the day of the search of the reservoir. Seems his first statement where he was quoted was critical of the law enforcement response to the missing fishing pole.
MR's actual first public appearance where anyone reported seeing him was at the vigil on Tuesday, November 27 and I believe that was his first interview as well. He declined to be interviewed the next day, saying he wishes to have attention only focused on Dylan and not on himself.

Mark was the last known person to see a missing child. He's the only person known to have had contact with that child for a period of nearly 24 hours before he was reported missing. Everything he says and does becomes relevant in the search for answers. The same can not be said for Elaine. Apples & oranges.
Maybe the press has not sought him out for an interview. Maybe there is nothing new to tell the press. Bottom line is, he doesn't have to speak to them at all. It means nothing if he does or doesn't, because that is not indication of guilt, just that for whatever reason, he has not been interviewed.
Ever stop to think that maybe he's returned to work? Just like Elaine has? People have bills to pay, and interviews with reporters don't pay anything, last I heard.
Sorry, I wasn't accusing you of saying he had. There have just been a lot of people who have said it. I knew I was going to screw that post up, even though I changed it at least 3 times before posting it. I guess I'd just like to see a scenario that didn't involve a murderous parent, I don't know.
