Does anyone know if MR or ER had family in far away states or countries? Or even close states? Just a thought. tia

I don't know if we are allowed to sleuth that but it would be interesting info in terms of a possible hidden but still very much alive Dylan.

After reading other places, it seems that this is a popular thought among people. I for one would love for this to be true. OMG could it be possible? I don't see why we couldn't sleuth this for MR at least. jmo

Do most on here think this case will eventually be solved? I'm just curious.

It would be the best possible news! I have trouble wrapping my head around the "end game" but maybe developing an idea about possible locations would help clear that up. I imagine we can sleuth MR as far as places he used to live but idk if we can extend that to locating family. We can ask but old addresses for Mark is a place to start.

I hope i am allowed to say this .

I sadly do not think it will be solved :(

i think too much time passed before a full out search of the house happened and too much time on the Sunday night that anything could of happened between 8pm and Monday morning.

IMO

Honestly, not without luck (stumbling on body & there being evidence present) or a confession.

I've already looked into this a bit but I don't know if I can share anything. I just don't know how someone could hide a 13 year old for any amount of time though? But this thought has crossed my mind and obviously it would be best case scenario and mean that Dylan could be alive. What if after picking Dylan up at the airport and having dinner and a trip to Walmart MR passed him off to someone? Far fetched? Maybe but certainly another possibility. I could see this happening more with a very young child but maybe not so easy with a 13 year old. They couldn't hide him forever and eventually he could talk and name names.

Oh Psychic, that is a loaded question. I pray so, but don't know. It is getting scary as it is so long. jmo

If I thought my husband, or anyone in particular did something like this to my child- the law, the rules and talking to msm or le would be out the darn window. There would be no "legal" interrogation techniques employed either.

ETA: looking at the personalities and traits of many here- I am sure I am not the only one

I'm with you! I would be ballistic! Trust me!

The absence of information/press releases of any kind from LE makes me think it may go unsolved sadly :(

I am not sure but I truly hope so.

I have followed a lot of these cases and have been surprised time and time again when silence is shattered with breaking news. Anything is possible.

If Dylan is found & depending where he is found I would say yes, but I believe it will very much based on circumstantial evidence.

I do trust you! Most parents would walk in front of a speeding vehicle to save their child- jail would not even enter into the discussion. And if jail entered into it eventually- no jury with a parent on it would convict. 6 weeks out? I'd need a bib for all the sedation related drooling

Hidden, to me, = prisoner. So I can't see this as a viable option, by anyone known to him and professing to care about him. He would have to either be restrained so as not to escape, or kept watch over like an inmate. He has missed weeks of school, the holiday season as well as Thanksgiving, and who knows what else. I have no confidence in this being an option at all, unless someone is severely deranged. I imagine LE would have checked out all relatives and close friends of the family early on, at least one would hope so, and that no one is unaccounted for. Going on two months is a long time for anyone to be absent without anyone noticing. And it would likely have to involve more than one person, in order to prevent escape.

Very unlikely scenario.

Unless a 13 yr old was willing to be hidden, I don't see how it would work. You would have to keep them a virtual prisoner, and why would someone do that?

I just don't see how this scenario is possible. :moo:

Quoting myself and I hope this is ok to say, if we do move forward with this idea of sleuthing out old addresses for MR please keep mind that he has a child that is a Jr so be very aware of DOB before sharing what is found.

I mean no disrespect and I hope this isn't viewed as trying to dictate what other posters do. I just would hate to see MR Jr drug into this by accident and I'm sure all of you feel the same about that.
