Forget Castle, where is Morgan and the Criminal Minds gang?

Since you're the only one with inside info - share something new with us, lol. Either of your kids have a sweet or funny Dylan story they might let you share with us? Just something that lets us get to know him a lil better?

Gosh, I wish I could! I do know that he was very shy (I think that was because he of the strange surroundings more than anything else), well mannered, cute as a button. He reminds me of bits of both of my boys. He was pretty impressed with meeting his nephew but not really wanting to hold him a lot, you know that "uh-oh it's gonna fall" kind of look.
He didn't interrupt, answered questions with respect. I know this for certain, when I look at his pictures and at his beautiful eyes, I see my kids. They all have that dark circle under them. Big beautiful eyes that just melt your heart.

His past behavior indicates that he can have a volatile temper when pushed and "he is capable of hurting Dylan if Dylan said something he did not like" (Elaine's words) .. I will take her word for it here.

Also taking a swing at your son after trying to grab Elaine and they move in to protect her .

He is no saint by the sounds of it and two ex wifes have said he is capable of hurting Dylan.

He isnt a saint and he doesnt have to be to be innocent.......rarely are parents perfect in these same type of situations. Steve Greone and Mark Lunsford sure werent saintly. Thats the great thing about our justice system. We try people on what they do.... not how they were years ago and there must be evidence also.

I guess the closest to being very good people was the Smart family even though Ed..the father and his brother were still falsely accused by some for some darn reason the entire time Elizabeth was missing.

However that is not proof that he would harm his child because of what he did or didnt do in the past.

I think that was an emotional outburst. She has backed off of that and hasnt said it again. I even think Mark understood she was a grieving mother and wanted to lash out at him so she would have someone to blame.

But it takes evidence and imo there is no evidence that Mark Redwine harmed the child he went to court to make sure he could still see.

IMO

I've really been trying hard not to respond to your posts, but you're just so darned quotable! Sorry...

I was going to offer a tarot card reading, but I don't think that stuff is allowed. Back to twiddling my thumbs, I guess. :banghead:

Lol, no need to avoid my posts. I can be prickly but I'm honestly more comic than mean girl.

"Quotable", I like that. Kinda flattering in a WS sort of way, lol. Clearly I'm easily amused (or heavily medicated if you ask TtcRider).

I see a strong resemblance in the pictures and video I've seen of Cory and Dylan so I can almost picture in my mind what your sons must look like.

Thanks for sharing, hopefully you'll get to see Dylan this Easter again! (wishful thinking)

really? , even when there has not been anything like this in the area before and knowing the history of the person involved i do not think a lot of people would be afraid for there children without a LE warning of some kind .

Most areas don't have a run on stranger abduction. It often happens in areas where it has never happened before. Generally stanger abduction is a crime of opportunity.

LE has said over and over that MR is not a suspect. After following cases on WS for awhile, you realize that LE is not always honest with the public. In Jessica's case, LE came out and said someone was on the loose. In the cases Nurse mentioned, they never said a word. It depends on the investigation, I guess. I have seen LE say "not a suspect" just to arrest the very person sometime later. I have seen them say "they are a suspect" only to have them arrest a totally different person later, and I have seen them say, as they are doing in this case, nothing, basically. If I was a parent in that area and LE was telling me MR is not a suspect, you bet I would not be letting my kids out of my sight. If that is the only info they are going to give me, I'm going to take it seriously.

On my way to market today, I saw a green and black nerf football in an empty parking spot. Dylan was instantly brought back into my thoughts...

I can't imagine what ER goes through every day when she sees something of his.

Wish he could be found. :please:

Thank you so much! This post just melts my heart. He sounds like he was a really great kid and the world is a bit worse off by the loss of him and all his potential.

I remember that from the news. People said that he (Ed) was a brutal man and that you could tell that by how his wife cowered and was always in the background. so sad for him. jmo

All I will say on the matter of the silence by LE is that if they think Dylan was abducted by a non-family member, then they are behaving in a very irresponsible and unprofessional manner, IMO.

I have great respect in LE and do not believe they are irresponsible or unprofessional.

Frankly it infuriates me that most LE never does this and then WE LEARN all along there WAS a stranger pedophile on the loose and they warned no one.:furious:

Hell the police were right across the street applying pressure the Lunsfords when all along right across from their home John Couey had Jessica alive and repeatedly raping her right under LEs nose for three days and he finally put her in a plastic bag and buried her alive under the porch.:furious:

And I have always wondered how he was able to get her outside underneath the porch to do that with LE swarming the neighborhood. Imo, LE had tunnel vision. Mark Lunsford said later on that he and some of the police almost came to blows on how they handled his daughter's case.

So I do believe they should be professional and responsible but so many cases have shown me they just arent when it comes to warning the community.

I believe it was...doesn't treat him very well.

Iirc, she did say "I dont think' because I thought that was so odd. Like she really doesnt know.

My impression is that ER has very much tried to downplay things since that one interview and let LE do their job. :moo:

BBM - I have to disagree, at least here in AZ, they notify the community a LOT when there is a predator on the loose. Especially concerning children.
We had two cases and not only was it on the news, it was in letters sent home, utility bills and the police increased their patrols by schools & bus stops.

Same in Vegas although its the media that puts the word out after a parent whose child has been approached makes sure everyone knows about it. There is almost always a pattern here in the big city.

Been thinking about other abducted by stranger cases in my city and it turns out most of them that are not harmed by immediate family/friends of family are harmed, literally, by neighbors. Makes me want to check out the property records again....

Clu - I enjoy your avatars so much, I bought a cat-a-day calendar for 2013!

I have no clue. I did an image search for "royal reptile egg" in an app I have on my phone and that one amused me the most w/o violating TOS.

I feel like a jerk for even thinking this, but .. this is NOT my own belief.. again, just throwing it out there.. but maybe it was so that if dylan was found soon enough after his disappearance to be able to determine that he had a black eye or something, there would be the alibi of "oh yeah, he missed the ball when we were playing football, I totally forgot about that in light of all that's happened."

NOT what I personally believe but... who knows anymore what goes on in people's minds??

How is a Nerf ball going to give anybody a black eye?

Being capable of hurting a child is not equal to being capable of murdering the child. Did he ever come close to murdering one of his other kids? Has any of his other kids ever gone missing, where it turned out that he was responsible?

I know the argument is going to be that his temper got out of hand, or he didn't intend to hurt him so badly and yada, yada, but... I can't understand the basis for two ex-wives saying he is capable of murdering, or even hurting a child severely, if he's never done it before.

Is there any record anywhere of one of his kids having to seek medical attention because of him hurting them severely enough that it could have caused death??

It sounds to me like one of his kids beat him so severely at one time that HE needed medical attention. And I don't care about hearing the justifications of it, but the records, IIRC, shows that HE didn't hurt his son, his son hurt HIM, enough to render him unconscious. Doesn't sound too much to me like HE is the one with murderous tendencies. JMO.
