You won't find "records" in the majority of cases where a parent physically hurts their child.

If people are claiming that MR physically hurt his kids, that is a pretty damning claim to make, and it should be more than speculation. Because if he didn't, then part of the argument that MR could have killed Dylan doesn't hold.

I gather the records you have are from Child Protective Services and those records are not normally public records.....but I could be wrong...

JMO/MOO

I would think they are not public records as well, but I would think in an investigation such as this, the records are extremely relevant so that LE would have access.

If Az's children were harmed she may not want that info splattered all over the internet. If she has said it happened that is good enough for me.

  • #404
Interesting. Can you share these records?

I'd have to find them at home and how do I share them? Right now I'm at work and getting ready to go to a meeting. I'm new here so I don't know how that works. TIA

What "should" be isn't always what "is".
But it isn't just "people" who are claiming MR hurt the kids...AZgrandma is the one making that statement.

Exactly!

IMO...DON'T!! If your word isn't enough, nothing else will be enough and I have concerns about your children's privacy.
You have nothing to "prove" to anyone here. Posters can choose to believe you...or not.

azgrandma, have you let LE in Durango know about this? I think they would be very interested. If not, please do so, they need to know!

Would Elaine stop at accusing MR of taking a swing at his son, if she had actual abuse she could report/accuse?

I agree, while some others might not feel the same I appreciate the line AZG is walking trying to shed light on MR's history and potential pattern of behavior while at the same time protecting her children and family.
Sorry to sound like a broken record AZ but again thank you for your posts both as an "insider" and as a fellow sleuther.

Isn't driving drunk with kids in the car child abuse? :twocents:

I think that was ER, and it was just an accusation in a bitter divorce. Take that claim (along with the other claims made) with a big grain of salt IMHO.

Yes. If that's true. But I don't think the person accused of this is a possible suspect in a missing person case.

Just asking, but could you inform law enforcement? Thanks

Actually, No it isn't. It's a LE issue. Which isn't to say that CPS doesn't become involved, but drunk driving with children isn't a CPS issue.

Yes, I know the accusation was against ER. That was my point. Seems all the accusations here are one sided. And, of incidents which happened years ago. Oh well....back to lurking.

It is child endangerment, no? But to me this is a non issue because I don't think she is considered a possible suspect. JMHO

I realize nobody has been cleared but I really don't think LE is looking at her.

It would be endangering the kids, why wouldn't it be a CPS issue?

Do you think she may have done something to Dylan?

Questions I would like to ask MR

1. Did Dylan mention a problem with his phone to you?
2. How did you happen to notice the missing fishing pole?
3. Do you have life insurance on Dylan?
4. What did LE remove from your residence?
5. Did you take a polygraph test?
If the answer to that is yes
6. What were the results?
7. Did Dylan do or say anything unusual the night you were together?

I would also be interested in both parents' logic of keeping everything hush hush as far as speaking to the media is concerned. I do understand being a bit gun-shy after dealing with Nancy Grace, but doing a sit down with a morning show or Dr. Phil would get Dylan's face SEEN! And if he's hidden away somewhere, getting his face seen is the most important thing. I just don't understand this silence...from all sides.

ER does seem more receptive to interviews in general though they've tailed off recently.

I wonder if either / both parent were approached by a neutral or friendly party (DH? Someone like her?) and asked if they would like to do an sitdown with an interviewer of his/her choice to get out any message he/she would like to get out on his/her terms -- would ER / MR accept?

Make the conditions of the interview as comfortable as possible and certainly try to get as much information as possible. If nothing else get Dylan's story and face out there (*if* he is still missing and in the possession of a random abductor). Also we would have the opportunity to see the demeanor and responses of the parents.

I'm sure if MR randomly threw out that he would like to be interviewed by Geraldo Rivera, for example (just an example! do not quote me!), someone would make that happen.

Someone talk! Please! Help Dylan!!!

Without going into depth about policy and procedure it is hard to explain to a lay person, but drunk driving with children is a LE issue.
CPS investigators don't have the privilege of driving around in one of those pretty little cars with the flashing lights on top, so we aren't able to pull over someone who may or may not be intoxicated with children in the vehicle. :great:
Which is why it is a LE issue only.
