I think he's the only person, other than Dylan, who can accurately say what happened.

Well, I agree that he can accurately say what happened. But is he?

Well, I agree that he can accurately say what happened. But is he?
Here are 2 of several scenarios I can think of -
- Dylan puts his phone on the coffee table, lays down on the couch, and falls asleep. Next morning he wakes up sometime between 7:30 and 11:30. He grabs some cereal, flips on the TV, finishes cereal, puts bowl in sink, decides to text his friends or his dad, but there's a knock on the door. Abduction happens and prevents Dylan from using his phone.

Do you have any kind of evidence to back that up? I don't remember seeing any.
Was that done for the day or done for good, though? On Nancy Grace the following Monday, it was reported that Mark only was allowed back in his house that day, the 3rd of December. So that would mean LE spent Thurs-Sun or Mon processing the house.
For what its worth Kids know to charge their phones Its their lifeline to their world. I have heard no one say his phone was dead alot! He never charged his phone Sorry Kids dont let that happen if they can help it! He had his charger with him.
LE knows if Dylan was in that house or not. JMO
He had to have touched the milk opened the cabinet to get the bowl.
Im sure he used the bathroom.
did he have a soda? a Bottle of water?
His prints have to be on that counter top and the bathroom and LE can tell if they are fresh or left from last time. JMO

Sadly, at this rate, we may all be able maintain our opinions forever, as we may well never know more than we have already been told.
Done for good. Sometimes they ask people to make arrangements for several days away, in case they want to go back in. There have been no reports of them going back in, and the local reporters were all over the police for days.
I thought he was allowed back in the next day. Do you have anything from a local reporter saying it wasn't until December 3rd? I don't know. He knew the next day the ipod had been taken. Would he know that if he hadn't already gotten the document that lists what was taken and been let back in the house?
This is an interview with Mark the next day - http://www.9news.com/news/article/302378/339/Missing-boys-father-denies-involvement
No, it doesn't say they can't track it since Nov 26th. You can't just pick a day on which article was published and claim that is the day that they can't track the phone down on.
I think it could very well be a pretty good possibility dont you?
How many times have we as parents said (esp at dinner) "If I see you texting again im taking the phone" they put it down under the table and it buzzes lol and its killing them not to look at it!
I think it makes perfect sense esp if dad wanted his undivided attention after all Dylan was there ot see him right?
All JMVOPO!
I think we should also note that there were no pictures of LE carrying anything out of the house. We know that there was press there and they are deperate for pictures or something. In any other case we always see pictures of what was removed. jmo
That does confuse me about this case. I have seen other cases where a parent was strongly suspected and I have always seen SOMETHING removed from the house-often many things-sheets, toys, stuff the kid may have touched, etc. I have also seen LE say "We are processing evidence or may have found evidence" rather than just saying nothing helpful found.
I guess you could say maybe they think he never reached the house so no evidence would be found there, but then they returned the vehicles very quickly for a murder suspect. Much quicker than I have seen in other cases and in some I know vehicles are STILL impounded while LE develops a case.
I guess this case just feels off to me. They aren't acting like this is a stranger abduction, but I also don't feel like they are truly going after MR either especially not nearly as aggressively as I have seen in other cases where the parent was suspected.

They can tell if the prints are fresh? How? More oils on the print? No other residue on the print ? (dust, etc)
But in what way could they go after him, if indeed they suspect him? If there is no crime scene and IF MR does indeed have an attorney now, there is very little LE can do. We have seen stand-offs continue for years between LE and parents of missing children, never knowing what, if any evidence LE may have.
