I'm sure there's nothing he'd like better than to supply more mud for people to sling at him. I'm not going to discuss ER because it's not allowed. I believe you pretty much proved my point with your last statement there. MOO JMO IMO IMHO IMNSHO ETC.

Okay....

Paraphrasing here. Two locals chiming in to say LE word around town is that MR failed failed failed the poly.

if that is a comment on social media it cannot be discussed as it is considered a rumor.

I've tried to come up with a list of the status of MR's fridge and people's belief on whether MR is guilty or not.

Fridge=empty, MR=not guilty: He was going to go shopping later for Thanksgiving.
Fridge=empty, MR=guilty: He didn't buy food because he knew he wouldn't need it.
Fridge=full, MR=not guilty: He bought food for Thanksgiving dinner.
Fridge=full, MR=guilty: He bought food to cover his tracks.

All of these statements are possible. I don't think you can determine the guilt or innocence of MR based on the contents of his refrigerator, especially since we don't know the status of his fridge.

Ok I'll weigh in on today's hot topics! :)
*"The trip of a lifetime" has been mentioned and it seems doubted many times in these threads, yet I have only seen or heard it referred to once in that Durango Herald article - http://http://durangoherald.com/article/20121215/NEWS01/121219687/0/s/A-boy’s-life--A Boy' Life. And it was not a direct quote from MR at that:

Mark vividly remembers the last vacation he took with his son, a road trip to Boston in August. They visited Fenway Park and went to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. It was a dream vacation for a boy who loves baseball and is a devoted Red Sox fan.

*I use fb but should you ever need to sleuth me, you won't get much satisfaction as I have all my privacy settings on "friends only". If you do happen to be a fb friend of mine, you will still be sorely disappointed as I simply choose not to share all my photo albums on facebook. I had no idea that I could be regarded as an oddity in that respect. How does anyone know whether or not Dylan himself doesn't have heaps of happy snaps uploaded, as he obviously doesn't care to share with strangers either.

IMO those who make the most noise or express their opinions most vehemently and repeatedly do not necessarily represent 'the norm' - whatever that is. I also don't consider myself (or my opinions for that matter) to be on the fringe of anything either.

What did Dylan say to the judge? I haven't heard what he said, just wondering if it has come out.

Documents are sealed from the public.

I very heartily doubt LE tested for gun residue since they did not perceive a crime had taken place initially. Don't know how long after the fact it shows up. Do know that in Colorado it is illegal to ask gun owners to register their guns. How fricking wild west is that? I sleuthed that right away and came up empty since it is more of a crime to ask about owning a gun than to own one. Sorry for the rant but wow! I'm on the fence. I'd predict he doesn't own them b/c he seems like the kind of volatile personality that might have used one already.

Correct, rebeccaeee. We can buy handguns, long guns, shotguns, with great abandon, at "gun shows" without background checks.

Not from a dealer you can't.

Would MR have access to the court transcript?

I believe his attorney would. Therefore the answer to your question is yes.

That doesn't mean it is necessarily legal for the attorney to share it with MR.

Yes there are two. The one you link is for praying and selling armbands. The one I link is for rumors! :what:

Which we're not supposed to discuss (at least ones from FB.) I'm not sure if we can mention that page or not; I know of one site that we cannot mention at all. Mods?

Fairly sure that comment was directed at me, but I would like to say that I meant no offense to anyone who doesn't want to take pictures of themselves, their children, their vacations, or anything else. I was merely pointing out that photographs are a marvelous thing to have...for others, for future generations, for yourself, in times you just wish to have a face or a place to reminisce about a loved one who is no longer with us or an event that reminds us of happy times. If not, that's your prerogative...but, IMO, it would also be your loss.
I really don't care one bit that MR has no FB page. Means nothing more than maybe he just isn't a sociable guy. As far as FB, my own page is not sleuthable...set to friends only. Most of the people I know have (at minimum) set the security on their family photos to private to protect their children. I'm not suggesting that anyone who isn't at least somewhat computer savvy run out and download 100 pictures on FB without knowing how to handle security issues. My point was simple. Photographs and taking photographs are the "norm"....you may disagree, but I'm pretty sure with all the camera phones, FB pages, Pinterest accounts, Tumbler, blogs and personal photographs everywhere, I rest my case.

<snipped>Also -I want to know if any restaurants were open on TDay in Durango. What are those restaurant names and did MR have a reservation. I do not have a problem with MR not making a turkey, as Monday night, when MR picked up Dylan and went to Walmart, is too late to thaw a Walmart turkey. <snipped>

I can't imagine too many restuarants required reservations on Thanksgiving day.

Well I totally disagree. MR has engaged an attorney for at least 7 years. Even though the documents are sealed they are not sealed to the attorneys. MR knows what MR wants to know. His attorney would tell him anything he wanted to know.

Some of our attorneys might like to comment on this one.

With that said I have thought Dylan was in danger for speaking his truth to the judge and that being turned over to MR.

MOO

IMO if he was in judges quarters, there's a reason the parents weren't present. I can't imagine the parents would have access to those sealed records. MOO

Paraphrasing here. Two locals chiming in to say LE word around town is that MR failed failed failed the poly.

I'd be curious as to how they got that information when LE won't even talk to reporters.

I believe his attorney would. Therefore the answer to your question is yes.

Not necessarily. IMO

That doesn't mean it is necessarily legal for the attorney to share it with MR.

Right. MOO

What?:what: He had always lived with his mom since the divorce.

How long ago was the divorce? My son is going through a divorce and no judge has asked my grandson who he wants to live with....maybe I'm getting confused. Missed the part where Dylan was before a judge. Determining himself where he would live, when he would "do" visitation, etc., etc. :waitasec:

But only links and discussions to/about the one he posted are allowed here. WS doesn't do rumors. MOO

My friend (who can't cook to save his life) had his son on Thanksgiving a few years ago and they had a KFC feast he hit the day before. It was lame on one hand but there was alot of sentiment even though the food was rubber.

One holiday I spent alone. I went to Jack in the Box. But I got their premium burger so I dined well that night :rocker:

I think the divorce was 7 years ago. In VA a judge will take a child's preference into consideration at age 12. I think that varies from state to state though.
