Sooner or later we will get a new baby out of the deal, right ? :)

One day maybe? I think she likes it in there a little too much! I think some babies are never tuned correctly with the knowledge of when it is exit time! It's not like I've been waiting 9 months to meet her or anything...

It's a huge lake/reservoir. It sounds like they only used the sonar and divers at the area in front of the dam. He could be anywhere else in that lake. I also wonder if there's any way a body could wash down further past the dam to the river below it?

I believe so, yes. We discussed this about 10 threads ago and if I recall, there ar large pipes below with grates that can be opened/closed to let water in and out. The water level during the summer was only about 30% of total capacity though, so I don't suspect those pipes will be opened anytime soon.

I wonder if cadaver dogs can still pick up a scent in that area?

$10,000 added to the reward fund.

It's now up to $30,000

I hope they resume diving and radar operations in the spring when the entire body of water will be warmer.

Sorry if already asked and answered, but when is she due, is this your first, what are you naming her?

I still think something happened on the way home and DR is in the lake near the dam. IMHO and all.

When I saw the two photo's of Dylon, I felt two things: at the airport Dylan looked tentative. In the Wallmart photo I felt he looked stricken.
I wish we could see the video of the walk around airport and around wallmart.
:what: Signing off for awhile and I want to say to Dylon's Mom how very sad I am for her. Praying for Dylon.
I have been reading these threads most of yesterday and last night, you people are awesome because you really care. Thank you!

The problem is that there appears to be no evidence whatsoever that Dylan is in the lake. The fishing pole wasn't his. He could be anywhere-there is a huge wooded area. So concentrating on the lake without any evidence that Dylan is in the lake doesn't make that much sense.

I know of a number of cases where reward helped.

Can you name a few? Just wondering if they are ones where it was more or less obvious that a group of people knew something, or if a reward has actually helped in a case like Dylan's, when it appears no one ever saw him at all. Thank you.

I didn't mean cases similar to Dylan's. Just cases where reward might have motivated someone to phone in a tip.

We tried to come up with a list of cases where rewards motivated someone to come forward and solve the case, but we had issues finding examples. Like, all the examples we could find that received the reward or part of it were not motivated by the reward-they just happened to receive it later.
I hope it helps in Dylan's case though.

I guess I could see a reward helping in this case, if it includes locating Dylan even if he is not alive. People might be encouraged by a large reward to do some searching.JMO

She was due on the 4th of this month, so 6 days ago and yes she is my first and is yet to be named :) All though I've called her stubborn the whole pregnancy because she has not co operated at all especially during scans.
(I'm very sorry for O/T everyone!)

Exactly, and the more people out searching there is a better chance of finding something of significance to this case.

they have searched it more than once in very cold and bad weather conditions.

something led them there.

I will not be surprised at all to see them resume after the spring thaw.:twocents:
