[Confusion]

The texts were ALL during the 8:01 minute because otherwise the phone would show the time change!
This is pretty simple!
Where the texts were made at a different times, the phone shows the time!

ETA: It's nothing to text 5-10 times during the same minute. I guess I really don't see how this can even be construed as questionable!

The article linked to in the Durango Herald was *not* a quote. The article that you are quoting wasn't mentioned at all.

Let's start with this.

First the dad said that he tried to awaken his son before he left in the morning, but he was "out like a light"

Then he changed it to “Before I left I nudged him on the shoulder and he acknowledged that he understood that I needed to leave and if he needed anything he would just call me..”

Those two don't go together, imo.

Important Changes to the discussion :

We are going to open discussion and sleuthing on Dylan's father Mark Redwine although he has not been named a person of interest. More often than not, we are finding that LE is reluctant to name a POI unless and until an arrest is imminent. However, the actions of LE may often times speak louder than words and for this reason, we are now going to allow discussion about Dylan's father.

Just throwing this out for related information to Monday morning. This is the facebook admin D Hess on NG on 11/28 -

HESS: The dad said that Dylan had been up fairly late, the evening before he flew -- the night before he flew in to Durango. And he was really tired they had gone to bed. And that he had gotten up in the morning, stirred around the house, made some noise trying to get Dylan up, and Dylan didn`t want to get up and go into town at that time.

Folks, we have allowed the discussion of Dylan's father in this case because there are a lot of questions surrounding Dylan's disappearance and he was the last person known to see him prior to his disappeance.

We do not know what happened to Dylan or who is responsible. It is not a foregone conclusion that MR is responsible for the disappearance of his son.

We are web sleuths and as web sleuths, we'd like to see any and all possibilities as to what may have happened to Dylan discussed here. Any members chastising other members for putting forth alternative theories will be hit with hefty timeouts.

All reasonable theories and discussion of facts are welcome in this thread.

Please carry on and let's do what we do best.

She IS agreeing with you. Someone else is speculating that Dylan was texting possibly up until that last text at...what was it? 9 something? That is what she is disagreeing with. You and NC are arguing the same exact thing.

I agree with you all. The last text from Dylan's friend came much later than the bunch of texts at 8:01 pm. Dylan never responded to the last text from the friend.

I agree. If Dylan did disappear that night, that info is relevant. I'm sure that LE has proper info to know exactly when his phone was used last. Not sure if it matters, since we seem to have no extra info to sleuth with

as per koat news...i hadn't seen this before, apologies if repetitive. it's an interview with DH about a search she herself was organizing for that saturday, the 8th. it was to be in a totally different area than the one organized by LE. at 1:17 the reporter states she was looking for 50-100 hikers for the southeastern part of vallecito lake.

did LE simply envelope her effort into theirs, centralizing it? or did she and other volunteers do a separate search?

Well. The FB page has gone with the idea he is being held all along, as opposed to the more likely(IMO) scenario. So,not surprising.

Dylan only has one official facebook I know of. Find Missing Dylan Redwine. The admin is a friend of Elaine and Mark. Elaine posts on it occasionally.

Yep- the location was shifted the day before the search when LE and the private search merged into one.
