IMO Elaine was not confused about the polygraph results when talking about it on NG. She appeared to have been put on the spot and was trying to 'avoid' answering the question. It would make complete sense if she told the producers this info before the show but also told them she didn't want to talk about it on camera. But we all know how NG is. Pushy as hell!!

Near to where I am, we had a teenage girl go missing a while back. She was gone for over a month. As you can imagine, it was very distressing for her parents and for the community too. Her story was put on AMW and it wasn't long before someone called in to report they had seen a young lady that looked like her. Apparently she had run away due to some kind of dispute with her parents. I believe she found a kindly old lady in another state over who took her in. I guess she was gone for a month or so. Her name was Christa Rogaliner. Sometimes I wonder how often this happens and there isn't any press about it. I realize the situation is not the same. I bring it up to say that there's the obvious, and then the not so obvious. Everyone felt she had been abducted, myself included. No one ever imagined she would do this. The outcome could have been much, much worse for her and her family.

I heard ER speak on the Nancy Grace show as well -- she stated MR's polygraph tests were "inconclusive." I think Nancy went into lawyer grill mode and spooked ER. I know it gave me pause -- I felt bad for ER.

Elaine wasn't sure about anything regarding MR's poly. She wasn't even sure if he'd taken one.

GRACE: Elaine, you have taken and passed a police polygraph, is that correct?

REDWINE: Yes.

GRACE: And what kind of questions did they ask you?

REDWINE: You know, just basic questions, just trying to see if I was a good candidate for the polygraph.

GRACE: What do you know about the father`s polygraph?

REDWINE: You know, I don`t know much. I know that, you know, everyone is encouraging him to take that. So hopefully, he will do that soon so we can get him out of the picture, and you know, focus on where Dylan is.

GRACE: Has the father taken a polygraph?

REDWINE: You know, I`m not sure.
I know he`s been asked to.

GRACE: Do you know if he took it?

REDWINE: I do not at this time, no.

GRACE: Is it your understanding that he`s failed a polygraph?

REDWINE: No, I don`t think he failed a polygraph. You know, I don`t know the specifics behind that. I don`t think he necessarily failed. But you know, I don`t have any information on that. So it`s real -- it`s real tough for me to answer that question.

GRACE: Elaine, when you were speaking earlier to our producers, you mentioned it was your understanding that he had failed a polygraph.

REDWINE: No, I didn`t say he had failed the polygraph.

GRACE: OK. Good. I`m glad you can clarify that. So what is your understanding, then?

REDWINE: I think it was inconclusive.

GRACE: Is he being asked to take another?

REDWINE: I believe so, yes, he is.

Once NG hammered her into a corner she said that she believed it was inconclusive and he was asked to take another one. I don't think she wanted to answer this on camera.

it seems like there are some people on the find missing page that think DR is being held and it's something that got out of hand and wasn't supposed to go this far.
I can't imagine a scenario where that makes sense. What would have happened and why and by whom for this scenario to work?

This MO (Modus Operandi) is for abduction because of the reason for there being no mobile usage after action occurred.

This only happens when abductors take the person....and the battery out of their normal habitat.

Albeit mobile and person cannot be tracked.

FBI profilers state this action and it is the only scenario applicable to this case thus far with no other leads.

Runaway DOES NOT suit this MO.

Timing DOES suit this as an abduction on SUNDAY after 8:01PM.

Haha boofa refers to chubby / big :) :blushing: but she is incredibly beautiful I'm so smitten. I now know what it means to 'wear your heart on the outside of your body' :blushing:

Thank you everyone :)

Congratulations FT! I know that feeling :)

I didn't see any hammering. In fact, I was surprised at how gentle NG was with ER. It was so unusual it stood out to me.

The way I determine if someone doesn't want to talk about something is if they say they don't want to talk about it, can't talk about it, have no comment on it, are not going to talk about it, I'm sorry I can't hear you, etc. or if they say nothing at all.

The way I determine if someone wants to talk about something, is if they talk about it.

But IF she had already told the producers that (as NG stated) she was kind of in a bind at that point. Or put on the spot. This IMO and I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one :)

I don't think it's beyond NG to bring this up on camera even if Elaine told the producers she didn't want to discuss it on camera.

As they say, if you tell the truth then you don't have to worry about being inconsistent.

I guess my point is not coming across. I think Elaine was telling the truth when she talked to the producers. I don't think she wanted to discuss this on camera but since she had already told the producers, she didn't want to lie to NG. So she tried to deflect and avoid answering it until she was nailed down by NG's comment of 'didn't you tell our producers...'

JMHO and it doesn't really matter anyways does it? Unless we hear about it from LE themselves it is meaningless.

Today, everybody go to your bathroom, look in the mirror, smile, and say out loud 50 times -

"I don't have to talk about anything I don't want to ever."

When you're done, say this 50 times -

"I'm sorry. I'm not going to talk about that. Thank you."

Repeat as necessary.

IMO - the media would talk to Mark as there he has a history of lashing out , he gets visitation rights and Dylan vanishes on his watch . Mum points out he is capable of hurting Dylan .

For the media it's a juicy story if Mark would talk as the media love this stuff.

I am not too sure of that. Local media? Okay. National? There are many people out there who are considered ~suspicious in the disappearance of someone, and they aren't all getting on TV.

Local media is a start when i do not believe he has traveled out of that area .

I feel the same way. But Elaine said that she is trying to get media attention, and they aren't calling her back. I am assuming she was talking about the national media. So it seems that Elaine believes that this case needs exposure outside of the CO/NM area.

Ahhhh, but is it because (suspicious parent/s) weren't asked or won't go???

Neither. Unless a case is very recent or very notorious, people involved in it (whether it's a good connection or a bad one) are not getting on national TV easily, or at all. There needs to be a new development, and even then that is no guarantee.

I'm not even sure what national media outlet would give Mark airtime. HLN is all over the Jodi Arias trial. The shows on CNN/MSNBC/FOX are all focused on politics. I don't think the morning shows would be interested either, at this point.

Berry, would your guess be an abduction by a stranger, or someone Dylan knew, or someone he might not have known but was in some way connected to the family?

I agree. I think Elaine tried to politely deflect at first, but NG wsn't having it. So ER was kind of forced to tell the truth on camera. JMO
