I have and have had SiriusXM satellite radio since 2004 and there is NO such tracking record of any of the installed units.none!

Elaine stated clearly that she, personally had viewed Dylan's cell phone records AND THAT DYLAN'S PHONE CEASED MINS AFTER 8PM.

IMO those records are facts to each their own on whether they choose to believe.jmo

Well my DH is on my cell phone plan, and anytime I want to see his phone records, I just ask for mine, because I pay for it and everything is on my account. I think it's the same with ER, but I stand to be corrected if that's not the case.

What? Well this is new to me. I had not heard this. Anyone else? ty

I JUST noticed it after I posted that last post about what Bender said about the phone. I was just re-reading Nancy Grace transcripts (out of boredom) LOL.... and whoa I said to meself....

But, don't we know that all cell phones do not have GPS and don't we know DR's didn't have GPS? Not arguing, but hasn't this been reported? ty

Something no one has mentioned is that Elaine probably doesn't know much more about phone technology than the average lay person. It isn't unlikely that she was referring to "GPS" like several others here were referring to GPS...as in "I don't use GPS on my phone" or "I don't pay to have GPS services on my phone....but that doesn't actually confirm that Dylan's phone DOESN'T have the type of GPS that we are talking about. GPS is built in to all phones manufactured after 2006(?), I believe. (or around that time frame) I know Dylan had an older style flip phone, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have built in GPS. This can go either way.

Even if the phone was completely off vs no activity, we still don't know the "WHY' ... was the battery dead? Was the battery removed? Was the phone smashed? Who knows.... One way or another something happened with the phone around 8:00 or shortly thereafter.

I highly doubt even Elaine has seen the cell phone records unless she got them herself from the provider.

Hi psychic!! :seeya: I think you're awesome! But I believe at the beginning of all this that Elaine did say she saw the phone records. I even think LE showed them to her, since it was probably within the first week or two of her son being missing that she stated this. (I think) *lol*

when I heard he was there at Labor Day weekend, he could have been in the vehicle`s van. So DNA is probably not the most important thing in the search.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1212/03/ng.01.html

The above quote is from medical examiner and forensic pathologist and IMO its clearly saying that Dylan's having been at dads for Labor Day would render finding Dylan's DNA in the vehicle and home would not be evidence of his being there Nov 18/19.. due to there easily would be Dylan's DNA from the previous visit..

IMO this makes me even more certain that LE were not able to even establish DylanU made it to his fathers...which again leads me back to LE statement actually discerning that they could prove he'd made it to La Plata county..rather than prove he made it to dads.

so, IMO clearly lack of establishing proof of his being at dad's DOES NOT EVEN BEGIN TO LEAD TO AN ARREST, as upthread it was stated that if LE had not established dylan being in the home that MR WOULD have been arrested..<<--moo not even near to how arrests work in RL.

No arrest does not mean no evidence. It means not enough evidence, sometimes. Like Terri Horman, Drew Peterson, Josh Powell and others.

ITA

One thing I've learned reading various missing persons cases here on Websleuths, it's not what police know, it's what they can PROVE. It's still very rare that LE will make an arrest without recovering the person or their remains.

Nancy Grace 11-28-2012

Nancy: I`ve got another question. To you, Ellie, what do we know about this little boy`s texting? Did he have a cell phone? Did he text? Did he e- mail? What do we know?

JOSTAD: Yes, he did have a cell phone, according to his mom, Elaine Redwine. And she said, too, just the fact that -- according to cell records she`s seen, the fact that there was no activity on Dylan`s cell phone after 8:00 PM is very unusual. She says this is a tech-savvy kid who is always texting.

So the fact he didn`t text anybody Sunday night or Monday morning she finds odd.

So what I am thinking at this point everything is INUENDO AND HERESAY.
We have no proof of anything. It is just he said you said. I really have tried to change my way of thinking and tried to take everything into consideration. I am totally open minded to anything we can come up with to help find this child. I think the bickering between the parents is something we can overlook and understand. We just need to try to stay unbiased and focus on the goal. That is to find Dylan. jmo

Authorities are not naming Mark a suspect in his son’s disappearance, but say a more thorough search of his residence was warranted following an initial search last week

hmmmmm.. above bbm.. I sure would love to know what LE found initially that WARRANTED them to get a search warrant to come back to search dads home...hmmmmm..

I would like to know that too. But, not sure they found anything either in the home or in his trucks. I wish we knew. jmo

This may answer your question:

From the linked articles below:

"It was only prudent to do a more thorough search of that house and property for any information that can help direct us to Dylan."

Fifteen members of the search task force arrived at Mark Redwine's home at 8:30 this morning; it included members of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the FBI, according to the sheriff's office.

La Plata County Sheriff spokesman Dan Bender told ABCNews.com that when Dylan was first reported missing, authorities checked Dylan's father's home to see if the boy was there. Dylan was visiting his father for the Thanksgiving holiday (his parents are divorced).

"We were checking the basement and other rooms, we were seeing if there had been something left on the bed, like his cellphone," Bender said. "We weren't doing a very meticulous search." (i.e. they weren't taking his vehicles, etc....)

AND then from this article:

Bender said Mark Redwine allowed investigators to look through his house on County Road 500 on other occasions.

“But the meticulous nature of the search today required a search warrant,” Bender said.

Bender didn’t know the wording or scope of the warrant or why it wasn’t executed earlier.
