I agree that LE's silence and apparent (because we really don't know what they're up to, if anything) lack of action is probably a big reason that CR etc are planning this.. picketing. If it was my child I would think... we have to do something if LE isn't.

If their purpose is to get Mark to answer questions, then this picketing/protest is NOT the proper avenue to take to accomplish that, IMO. I'm sure they are frustrated, they have every right to be. But harassment is not the way to go about getting answers, because it will only make him more angry, and angry people don't react rationally. Protests are seldom friendly or peaceful, though they may start out that way, most of them reach the ugly stage pretty fast. Sometimes people end up getting hurt.

If they want him to answer their questions, then it would be better to approach him peacefully and ask to have a one-on-one conversation with him, rather than picketing outside his house and yelling accusations at him. That's displaying the very attitude that they accuse him of having... anger and defiance. So what does that say about their character?

Don't throw tomatoes at me, I'm just offering my opinion like everybody else.

It's so frustrating when there is no word. Cases where the person is not found and no arrest are the hardest. IMO Dylan wont be found until spring. I truly hope I am wrong. I cant begin to imagine what this is like for Family :rose:

Maybe not even in the spring, which is fast approaching. I always thought that too, but then there are so many cases that have passed one or more springs without news.

I can only say that CR was raised partially by MR, so he comes by some of his personality traits/ flaws honestly !

No "maters" lol. I think this little Community is frustrated and the Family must be beyond. I do believe their intent is to remain peaceful and gain more media attention. It seems apparent from MR's refusal to grant interviews or have contact with the Family he isn't going to talk. I have no issue in the Community letting him know he needs to provide some answers. Perhaps this isn't so much about it working but letting him know as a Community they are not going to let up in the search for Dylan. MOO

Exactly...............where is baby Lisa now?
I feel that the time has passed to find him........ if he were near or in the woods
or in the lake or ............
I would bet statistically speaking the odds of ever finding him
are in the less than 1% now . :(

Tell me if any of you are in touch with my emotions on this. I am torn !
Logic and history tell me Dylan has passed on :(
But hope and optimism make me want to believe some fantastical thing
has happened and he's ok somewhere.
So I'm thinking that preparing myself for the worst news is better than
pretending he's ok somewhere only to find out later that he is not.
Which should I do ? :(

Not which should I do so much as please tell me someone else is
feeling this way ?

No, you're not alone. One of the things I do to help me get through these cases is, I do not let myself get too emotionally invested in them. I realize not everyone can do that, but I try to be impartial and look at it like most LE do. Maybe because my son is LE, he has helped me understand how to view these cases objectively and not with my emotions. Once you learn to do that, it eases the pain and the sadness a little. It still hurts when one is found dead, and my heart goes out to the families of these victims, but I try to stay somewhat detached, because for me, that's the only way I can get through it without falling apart.

That's kinda where my head has moved on to. I just want him found. Since the Lake wasn't able to be thoroughly searched I hope the spring will provide some anwers. The person responsible for this just cant walk :furious::banghead:

:moo: I actually think that in the spring they will dive that reservoir again and use sonar. Those dog hits were not "nothing" (<----whoopsie on the double negative)

Also, Ayla, Kyron, Hailey, Haleigh and others? They have been missing from thirteen months up to nearly four years. :(

I feel like IF Dylan is dead and IF MR did it, he is in the lake. I don't feel like he was killed at the lake though. I have thought and thought about how he could transport a body and LE cadaver dogs not pick up a scent in his vehicles. Surely LE would have used cadaver dogs on his vehicles, no? I've wondered if he had a small trailer or something available to him. Perhaps he stashed Dylan somewhere, went and got a trailer to transport the body in and went back and got him? What if he put the body in a sealed large barrel or drum? I just don't know if he's that smart though??

I could have written this as this is EXACTLY how I am feeling!

I've also wondered if the fishing pole story was conjured up and told to LE BEFORE he was placed in the lake. I wonder if he picked up anything at his work? A barrel, borrowed a small trailer etc? He even could have rented a small trailer or borrowed one from a friend? I just have an issue with HOW he could have gotten him to the lake after the fact and no scent picked up in the vehicles. Does MR have quads?

  • #598
Too many Children/Adults missing. Seemingly just vanished. In some Cases where I suspect somebody close to the Child/Adult I think it's pure luck on their part there is no evidence. Or at least not enough evidence to make an arrest. It's not impossible for somebody "not that smart" to murder and dispose of a Child/Adult away from home and leave no evidence. Must be "needle in a haystack" for LE.

I have never believed a fishing pole existed ......not old.....not new......
not missing.

I haven't heard that MR has a quad.
