It should be really really simple for him to arrange an appointment with a mediator. He calls the lawyer and says can you recommend a mediator. Lawyer gives him the number of a few mediators, he calls makes an appointment, asks the media to contact Elaine to confirm with her, they both show up at the designated time and they talk. And the mediator will keep them focused on the questions at hand rather than letting them get into a boxing match. It's really simple and it should be fast. They could probably be in the mediators office by next week.
Oh, I definitely agree. No paycheck, no C/S, but I'll bet he's counting on them making it retroactive to date of disappearance. ETA: Once he gets it into court.
and I also agree about the timing on the mediation and I'd like to add that it might be a VERY good idea if the mediation ONLY involved MR and ER. I think CR should sit this one out. JMO
