Hopefully, the computer Dylan used was looked at for any searches/sites he may have visited before that fateful day he got on the plane....

But then it comes back to that MR must be the unluckiest person on earth on that Monday morning . Everything aligned to make him look suspicious in his sons disappearance .

Has MR (or anyone else) ever said where he went during his four hour errands trip? Early on I remember something about a lawyer's appointment, but nothing since.

And was the appointment with the lawyer scheduled in advance or was it an "emergency" meeting?

I thought there was also something about a meeting for work? I don't think the details of these errands were ever made public. I don't have a link, but I do think I remember LE stating that these errands had been verified.

He was meeting with his divorce lawyer, as I recall.

From a practical sense , would it not of made more sense for Dylan to stay with his friend on Sunday night ?

Mark then would not of had to have worried about leaving Dylan alone and would not of had to have woke him up before he left. So it would of actually made life easier for Mark on the Monday morning not to have Dylan under foot IMO.

Then he sorts out the errands he had to do and then can pick up Dylan on Monday afternoon and then he has time to spend with Dylan and not have to worry .

I've said a few times but it's worth repeating MR is either the luckiest guy on EARTH , if he did it and left no clues or the unluckiest guy on EARTH if he didn't do it and it looks so much like he did. Now he needs to go to Vegas so we know which he is !

None of Dylan’s belongings that could carry his scent was available in the first days of the investigation. But the family had articles of the boy’s clothing delivered on the weekend.

“We have the clothes,” Bender said Monday. “We don’t need them here (at the reservoir), but can use them later.”

http://durangoherald.com/article/20121126/NEWS01/121129702/-1/News01/Frustration-mounting--

It is my understanding that because Dylan had all of his clothing/everything with him when he disappeared, there was nothing that could carry his scent in the first days of the investigation. Furthermore, apparently the couch, pillow, blanket he reportedly slept on/used were not candidates for scenting for whatever reason. I believe there was also a statement in MSM that there were some articles of clothing left behind; however, apparently these, too, were not good candidates for scent.

I seem to remember reading somewhere, and will try to find a link, that MH was asked to bring some of Dylan's clothes to Vallecito, which seems to coincide with Bender stating that "we have the clothes". They had to have been clothes from his Colorado City home since Dylan had everything with him and it was stated they didn't have anything available for scent.

As far as the search, in the last thread I posted some links/information about the initial search of MR's home where they stated it wasn't a very thorough one - there were just looking to see if he was there and for his cellphone, and then some days later they re-searched MR's home with a warrant and did a more thorough search (i.e. took vehicles, Nerf football, sweatpants, etc.).

I have seen nothing in MSM about any search of ER/MH's home in CS. I would love to know if they did do that! If anyone knows, please share!

But in an article written about an interview with MR, in his house, it says something like "a couple articles of Dylan's clothing is still scattered around on the couch where he slept", or words to that effect.

For some reason, Mark said, NO.

And you know what, Mark has never said in any of his interviews that he wished he had let him go to his friend's house.............

Exactly. I couldn't find the link to it at the time I posted. Would you happen to know/remember where that was stated (i.e. link)? TIA

Very true and I keep thinking and hoping and believing that LE knows the answers to ALL these questions we have beat to death over the last 2 months.

Here ya go: "When he got back at 11:30, his son's dirty cereal bowl was beside the sink. The television was on Nickelodeon. His son's fishing pole was gone. So was his black-and-gray backpack. A few articles of clothing were left behind on the couch."

So, the reporter didn't see that, it was just something dad described to him.

27 threads :what:

dylan.jpg

and all we know, is that Dylan made it to LaPlata County and was caught on a Walmart camera.

He then somehow vanished with all his belongings......oh, yeah and a fishing pole from Mark's house (which may be the only "evidence" that Mark provided to "prove" Dylan even made it to the house Sunday night but hmmmmm....the pole is missing with Dylan......I'm not sure there was ever a fishing pole)

I'm not buying that story :furious::furious:

In a response to a post I had made about his lawyer's visit etc, someone (forget who) stated, MR also had to stop at his place of employment to fill out reports. This supposedly was because he traveled for his job and the reports were important!

As I recall, the reason for not letting him go visit a friend was that it was too late to go.
