Geez, you all are fast! I had to read 120 pages just to catch up and now I gotta go pretend to work again.

Interesting choice of words from LE and I think that was intended.

So what does ER think about it? Would love to know. tia

I keep getting behind too, azgrandma. I'm at work and got pulled into an hour-long meeting so am trying to get caught back up. I'm so glad there is actually something to talk about!

We got some news today and I am glad. I hope LE's efforts are taking them closer to finding Dylan. I feel better seeing it in print that they have been working their butts off (someday I may have the patience to remember that because LE is quiet that doesn't mean they aren't working - LOL).

Now, I want more information.....

Give us the cell information from Mark's phone!

:please::please::please: for you Dylan!

Hey all,
If Dylan is at McDonald's at 7:22 in Durango and his last outgoing communication on his "cell" was at 8:00 pm ish (according to his mom) and the drive from Durango to Vallecito is about 50 minutes - then he isn't home when he stops texting his friend - he is still in the car. Did he ever even get to the house? What bridges are about 38 minutes from the Mc Donalds enroute to Vallecito?

But we don't know if the 7:22 time at McDonalds is when they got there or left? Do we?

We don't know how they got the 7:22 McDonalds time. Was it surveillance video or from Debit/Credit card records. If from debit/credit card records that would be the time the food was purchased, then wait for the food, then eat, then head home (as far as we know).

LPCSO investigators and agents from the FBI met recently to develop strategies and review results of tests of evidence by CBI. Additional interviews are also being conducted locally and outside the area. In several cases, law enforcement agencies not connected to the Task Force have assisted in searches and interviews in Colorado and other states.

This is also part of the News Release from La Plata Co. Sheriff Office

BBM
that is very interesting score.

And I know MR did say Dylan was texting RN while they were in Durango and before they headed home. Don't know if that's true of course.

I think the interviews in other states are his sons possibly and his ex. Or any other family members he has out of the area

Or perhaps employer/work buddies. For some reason today, I keep thinking that Mark's work has provided some information for LE. It's JMO/MOO

Great. New information that could just as easily be used to draw inferences that something else possibly happened to Dylan is now being fused, fine-tuned, and tailored to implicate MR even more. This is a textbook case of confirmation bias.

The 9:37 pm text shows that LE isn't telling us everything we wanted to know. It also shows they have a lot more information they aren't releasing. The release to media shows they have not been sitting on their thumbs doing nothing as has previously been speculated. They seem to be interviewing people, searching, all sorts of things.

We just aren't privvy to it. Nor should we be. Sometimes "watching" what LE is doing is not an indicator they are doing nothing. JMO.

I am still thinking the 9:37 communication might be the delayed arrival of R's 9:27 text. My husband and daughter often complain of delayed texts which randomly occur from people right here in town. As for texts being sent by computer, there are quite a few ways that could be done. I have AIM on my computer which supports texts. My husband and daughter use it too. All we have to do is type in the first letter of our username and the username comes up along with the password. All you have to do it click on sign in so it's obviously not very secure. I am assuming that computer experts could determine what device was used to send any message sent from a computer. All MOO

I was wondering it that electronic message was a messenger, skype or facebook
or something and has nothing to do with the phone. Maybe he got home, got online and chatted a bit and then went POOF at 9:37.

Yes, IMO you're correct that it could be the above given scenario in going on the wording of this latest statement(ie. electronic communication)... Aaarrggghhhhh!!..this is exactly why I hate such wide open possibilities ..open to God knows how many different interpretations of the "official" statements we're given in this case... I mean, UGGGGHHHHHH!!..The frustration:banghead: seems to be never ending with this case EVEN MORESO than usual!!

but truly in my honest opinion I believe tho, the above given scenario is possible based on this latest statement.. however IMO I do not find it at all plausible, and even more so IMO I believe its been known that Dylan, himself did not communicate via his cell phone, someone else's cell phone, an iPod, iPad, or dads home internet.. JUST STRICTLY MOO IS THAT IT IS AS WE'VE BEEN TOLD ALL ALONG THAT DYLAN, HIMSELF CEASED ALL OUTGOING COMMUNICATIOM, PERIOD A LITTLE AFTER 8PM<<--AGAIN JMO.

I Fully understand that others disagree and I also respect their view of the situation as we know it..its jmo that Dylan ceased any outgoing electronic communication(OR OTHERWISE) shortly after 8pm.

all jmo.

I'll just say it and mods come smack me if I'm out of line, but this new statement from LE makes it seem very very very very HIGHLY UNLIKELY that there is some " poi " named or un named other than MR. This is my opinion, but it seems that way. If they were looking in other locations that a wandering RSO had taken him, they would be saying John Doe ina blue chevrolet ,etc etc. So these locations are places MR frequents, used to live or has friends/ relatives living there or a place he works or passes on his way to any of the above. Otherwise , how would LE possibly know where to look?
There is no UNKNOWN POI. LE knows who it is and most of us do too.
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO . where's the cow emote?

Huh??? How would they know what a random person would be driving? Maybe if they had a specific POI, but they didn't say that, did they.

I just don't see this as being certain that MR is the only suspect/POI, I didn't get that from what I read at all.

You are correct, I use to do that when my kids would text. It was pretty funny because they thought I knew how to text and all the while I was doing it from a computer.

Oh my I am impressed. I just learned how to do that but have been texting for years! :blushing:

So glad some news came out today!

I never ever knew you could send texts from a computer, never heard of it. That's news to me. Ya learn something new every day.

I don't assume everyone rushes to the media to report every little thing they know about a case, particular if it involves a child witness.

Maybe I'm wrong, and everyone who knows anything does rush to the media. I just don't know.

Dylan's other friends were probably interviewed by LE and have just not seen fit to talk to the media. I know many parents who would not want their child speaking to the media. And LE will not put a child out there in the public, nor will they share what they said, just like they don't always make it public what an adult witness has to say to them.
