How does someone stash a 13 year old? 13 year old is a person, not a thing.

I agree and what would be the aim , to keep him prisoner until he is 80 ? . as soon as he is released then Dylan talks . He is not a child who will just forget his parents .

I respectfully disagree. I do see what you're saying. That no matter what comes out some of us are going to mold it into proof that MR is guilty. I don't think you are giving us that are leaning that way proper credit. I'm actually pretty intelligent and am not one to follow the crowd. I am leaning that way based on a combination of many factors rather than one big smoking gun.

Many thanks to you once again, Psychic Sleuth. You have a way with words that I unfortunately just DO NOT have... as in always maintaining respect, articulating your points, AND doing so in a short/sweet and TO THE POINT manner..

Muchas gracias for articulating what I believe to be several's exact same opinion, feelings, and points of view..:blowkiss:

The only possible scenario, IMO, is that some pervert kidnapped him. But as far as I can tell, police don't have any evidence of kidnapping.

When exactly did it happen before? All of the relatives are accounted for, so where and how could he be stashed?

When has a teenager ever been held against their will? My original response to you was in reference to a thirteen-year-old being "stashed".. I was not referring to by a family member specifically (although I am sure that has happened as well).

I already said I don't believe that is what happened to Dylan.

Well, I am pretty sure that can be ruled out in this case. Dylan had mother, brother, many friends. I don't see why he wouldn't mind being "stashed."

I wish I could expound on my thinking, but I don't want to get a TO. So, I'm not ignoring y'all, just don't want to get booted. :seeya:

False sense of security. It's been used numerous times in re to MR.

Why haven't they said anyone else has been cleared? :waitasec:

I don't know, kinda' weird, ain't it? Do we know if anyone else saw Dylan last besides Mark?
They did say that the RSOs stories checked out, for what that is worth.

BBM I think if we knew that, then we'd probably not be on thread 28.

Just catching up, but something came to mind. What if the time of 937 is a smoke screen set by LE?
Remember I was telling you a story the other about the profiler from FBI that told the police that they should take dental impressions from the corpse, well LE did, but they were bad. Still LE reported to the media that they got exactly what they needed. Caused the guy to call in to "help" but ended up confessing.

What if this is the same, they have a text from R at 927 and report that there is a record of something at 937. Would cause someone to get antsy if they thought there was no physical way DR could reply at that time. MOO

I'm swimming back and forth between 10% and 30% tonight. Mark loves Dylan. I don't believe he would kill him. I think he *may* have stashed him because he felt like the one person he truly loves and who loves him was being taken from him. But I also think someone else could really hurt Mark by stashing Dylan, and there are some people really angry and vengeful toward him. It would be a surefire way to hurt him deeply.

Okay; let's take Mark out of the picture (for a minute) - what do we have:

stranger abduction
someone known to Dylan came and took him

and the possibly that Mark has stashed Dylan somewhere

I can't wrap my mind around these but I am trying to keep an open mind, so I enjoy reading everyone's posts!

I'm leaning heaving on Mark right now....

I hate this feeling that something may break soon, as many similar cases seemed right on the edge several times, and then nothing. It is hard for me to believe this case will be any different.

Hypothetically, if the 13 year old didn't mind being stashed, then it wouldn't be that hard. JMO

Why would a 13 yr old boy, who was popular, with many friends, and many girls he was interested in, and a brand new remodeled house in a nice town, and a new school that he loved, ever want to be 'stashed' away?

I've already answered that with a non-answer. lol

I agree. I had school today til 1 and I was salivating peeking at the updates. I felt this way several times during the Michelle Parker case. It's very anti-climactic.

Only if for some strange reason Dylan communicated with an older adult without anyone knowing about it, and this person instructed Dylan on what and how to go about certain activities, could he be in the hands of a stranger, unless a pre planned family abduction occurred on the Fathers part.

Is it a slim possibility ? Yes, Do i actually believe this could be the case no, Just the actions of the Father since Dylan's disappearance really frustrates me.
i realize everyone's emotions are different, and I've seen parents of missing children the way they've acted on tv, Guilty parents have put on convincing acts that appeared they were telling the truth, only to be found out later they were responsible for the child's disappearance. And innocent parents that truly seemed guilty just from their actions or lack of.

It's just something about this Fathers actions and the lack of appearing more determined in searching and locating Dylan, his resistance in communicating with the Family, if Dylan was my son and missing, i would be organizing every Possibile search team, covering every direction from the Fathers house.

What has the Father really done to actively participate in searching for Dylan that's been evident ?

The daily prayers for Dylan's safe return continue, Praying your back home soon with your loved ones Dylan !!

Yup, Michelle Parker ended in a very unsatisfactory cold case. So did Hailey Dunn, and Ayla Reynolds and Cecelia Cass. All of the above seemed just moments away from an obvious arrest, and then NOTHING.

Also during certain searches for Kyron, Ayla, Hailey and others, an arrest or a body seemed imminent. And many times with Haleigh Cummings too.

I hear you. I think of Hailey Dunn. Oh boy were there big breaks. But here we are, two years later, and nothing. I really hope that's not the case here.

ETA -- I see we're all thinking of some of the same cases here. :(
