I agree that LE should have worked on getting that search warrant much sooner than they did. But remember, doing a good full blown interrogation of Mark Redwine as soon as possible would not be delayed by any judge. It appears to me that LE in this case dropped the ball. MOO.

That was my point, more or less, and the lack of an early search may be the biggest stumbling block in solving this case.

IMO MR has 2 trucks FULL of turnips and he is giving them away constantly to the LE.

Turnips maybe but not blood, hair, finger nails, human tissue, a black backpack, a flip phone or clothing that fits a 13 year old boy. Oh yeh and an iPod.

  • #543
But there probably would not be a dirty cereal bowl there by the time LE came to search his home. He probably rinsed it and put it in the dishwasher or washed it already. JMO

Your right. And Dylan may have never even made it to Marks house to leave any DNA there on a bowl to begin with. That's why an early interrogation is important. MOO.

This is the case Seajay, MR has perhaps, hidden alllllllllllll those items of necessary evidence you listed, UNDER the (stories provided by) his TURNIPS!!!!

Colorado Bureau of Investigations and the FBI had tents and a trailer set up outside the house. Investigators wearing white scrub-like uniforms made trips in and out of the house and a travel trailer this morning.

Investigators also towed Mark Redwine’s two pickups from his property to an undisclosed location for further searching.

About 15 investigators and analysts were involved in combing the premises, Bender said.

Bender said Mark Redwine allowed investigators to look through his house on County Road 500 on other occasions.

“But the meticulous nature of the search today required a search warrant,” Bender said.

Bender didn’t know the wording or scope of the warrant or why it wasn’t executed earlier.

Thank you for posting the link, I clicked on the bottom link and was reading the entire article, and the next to last paragraph the Father makes a statement i pasted below, he refers to Dylan as that boy while thanking a crowd at Eagle Park.

Instead of saying I love Dylan, he says I love that boy,
And also he stated, how much i cared about him, instead of saying how much I care about him ?
Love that boy versus I love Dylan
and i cared about him versus i care about Dylan or him.
But this part of the statement concerns me, (He was such a wonderful boy)
As though he's talking like he knows Dylan is no longer with us.

Could this just be the normal way most Parents would talk, or is his speech thanking the crowd, just that a thank you.
( Below is the paragraph I pasted from the above link )
(“I want everyone to know how much I love that boy and how much I cared about him, and how much I thank the community for all the effort that they put in,” he said. “He was such a wonderful boy. He meant everything.”)

Then he has to have worked fast and had a lot of turnips. Someone needs to get to the bottom of the turnips. I wonder if that can be turned into fuel? It would save a bundle. He's just lucky turnips don't talk.

Yes , when a child is missing and the they do not do a full out forensic search where he was apparently last seen for 10 days I lose trust in LE ( the small town sheriff's who only had about 4 officers ) and straight away they are out of there depth as they have never dealt with anything of this magnitude :cow:

Local LE had state LE and the FBI involved rather quickly IIRC.

At that time, in the beginning of this, all of them referred to Dylan in the past tense. Not only did Mark do it, but Elaine and Cory did it.

When used at that point, it was thought they made those past tense statements to mean that Dylan wasn't with them right then and there. Elaine and Cory both used "he was" or "Dylan was." IMO

Catching up here so likely this is already been clarified..

Above bbm.. hmmmm..But Mark Redwine has already stated THAT IT WAS HIS ATTORNEY WHO SUGGESTED THIS LITTLE POW-WOW MEDIATION..

But other than that ITA no way in hell-o would any attorney EVER suggest such.. one of our verified attorneys weighed in on this as well yesterday saying that he/she believed no such suggestion would ever be made by an attorney in this situation.. moo is that more than likely that's correct for this case and attorney as well.jmo.. which really makes ya wonder about Mark Redwine's statement that he made pushing for this "mediation".jmo

Currently involved in a Family Court situation and YES my lawyer suggested mediation, it's also advocated by NCMEC and other child agencies.
The legal community is try to resolve issues before they come before a court. It is very likely that MR attorney did suggest mediation since it would be 'in the best interest of the child' (trying to find him in this case).

Personally I believe its because they thought he was a runaway. I also don't think local LE is used to dealing with this sort of crime. What day did the FBI come in? Wasn't it right before the forensic search and in depth questioning took place? I don't remember for sure but I know someone here probably knows what day they actually came in on the case.

We probably need to get a good timeline of events and keep it on file to refer too!

I was just thinking how great a timeline for each player was .
We' re constantly saying ' did ER say that before she said this?''
Did MR talk to a lawyer before this or that ?

I think MR must be the most diabolical purpatrator ever. He has managed to disappear his 13 year old son. Plant in LE the theory of teenage mood leading to a runaway so as to delay the search leaving no evidense in his home or truck. A cold hard hearted man who would do away with his own son? I can't say anymore because I would surely be put on permanent TO. jmo

Seems to happen quite alot.
Scroll thru all the threads on here with Husbands missing wives
BF's missing girlfriends.
Mothers killing children.
FAthers kidnapping children.

Then tossed in there are a FEW actual stranger abductions.
But their victims are usually found.

Is MR a cold hearted man? I dont know but you dont know that he isnt.
All I get out of what we read is that this man is last to be with his son and didnt even bother to go look for him till 4 pm and then sends a text to his ex that their son is missing, what the hay! Elaine calld LE.

I wonder if MR thought elaine would have just driven there and started looking for him instead of calling LE.

  • #558
What did MR do from noon till 4 pm?

  • #559
I have never felt that Mark is some kind of a genius if he covered this up because of the fact his window of opportunity is so wide for a cover up .

How many criminals get 8/10 hours for a clean up and also in a very small rural community and with miles upon miles of terrain ?! Dylan could be anywhere in this time frame!

Then add in LE who had never dealt with anything on this scale and this is the outcome :cow:

Why would have have to be smart?
This was not planned as I see it its something that just happend.
I dont feel whatever happend happend at home but along one of the roads to home.
When the snow melts I feel they will find him and I also think hes close.JMO
