Agree that this is possible.

Also note that it is only stated by detectives AND MR that they took an iPOD - nothing about taking a charger, too. So was the ipod Charger still in the backpack? Whose iPOD did they take?

On my long wishlist in this case (obviously at the top is where is Dylan) I would like a catalog of what Dylan brought with him, what was left behind (and if those items were some of the ones brought with him) and then what exactly LE took with them and if they are confirmed to be Dylan's.
I feel like some of this stuff we have questions about are known and LE is just remaining tight-lipped.

About the iPod:

We have three different statements about the iPod:

GRACE: OK, so that`s normal. What about the cell phone and the backpack and other belongings?

REDWINE: It was my understanding from his dad that everything Dylan had was in his backpack including his cell phone, his iPod, his iPod charger, his cell phone charger, all of his clothes. So we had to actually make a trip to get some of Dylan`s clothes from where we live in Colorado Springs because it was my understanding there were no clothes at his dad`s house.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1212/03/ng.01.html

and then you have:

"Investigators took an iPod and two vehicles among other items as they searched Mark Redwine’s home yesterday."

http://www.9news.com/news/article/30...es-involvement

AND then

MR told KOAT news that investigators took a pair of Dylan's sweatpants, his Ipod and a Nerf football the two tossed around Sunday night

Dylan's dad talks - YouTube

So, did MR tell ER that everything was missing and then the ipod was found later by investigators? Was it Dylan's iPod that investigators took? Was it MR's?

I think its Dylans I pod.

If dylan had an I phone all his music would be downloaded onto that My kids dont use their i pods since they got their I phones. So I would assume it was Dylans and he was listening to it in the truck . JMO

I've never understood why MR drove to Bayfield instead of calling the friends. I suppose the explanation could be that he knew where the friend lived, but not the phone number or last names. Was the house he went to R's house? R had said he would be at N's. Did MR know this? Did he visit several homes or get phone numbers from R to check out other friends' homes?

Good question, because we know plans changed and that initially D was supposed to meet R at R's grandma's, and then R texted D to meet him at N's.

Does anyone have a link about the sweat pants, as far as being confirmed as Dylan's?

To my knowledge it was never confirmed by LE that they were DR's sweatpants. The link is in my previous post about the ipods.

I've watched (and listened to) this uncut MR video over and over again:
http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/vi...lks-about-son-s-disappearance/1d0dri49j?from=

There are unlimited ideosyncrasies to point out, but for starters:
I lost count of the number of times MR says the word "focus".Another biggie imo is how he keeps coming back to how important DR's friends are to him, even when he is NOT asked. It gives the impression that it is something foremost in his mind and is key to the reason DR went missing (ie a fight over "you only want to be with your friends and not your father".) Towards the end he talks about the last time DR came to visit, and goes into a nonsensical account (again not asked for) of the flight DR took and how he and ER disagreed about it.
Also, try turning the sound off, and just watching his nonverbal communication.

What alarms in this is the fake attempt to cry . I have never seen a real person is about to generally break down and sob pull it back in which he does remarkably within a blink of a eye .

Nobody can switch off there emotions like that !

If it was Dylan's Ipod, why would he have not taken it for his journey to "fish" or hitchhike?

Good questions.

And when he finally went to the friend's house in Vallecito, and that kid said he never saw Dylan, couldn't he have gotten the Bayfield phone numbers from that friend right then and there?

He could have IMMEDIATELY called those Bayfield friends from Vallecito and found out instantly if his son was safe or not. Why did he decide to drive the 45 minutes instead of calling around? Especially after finding out that D didn't make any contact with his friend who lives close by?

Add to that, why did he wait so long to even go to that friends in Vallecito. He waited all day to actually go check and see if his son was safe and sound.

I know when i post i mention it and i am sure other's do on here but i know there was a pair of sweat pants left behind. I am never quite convinced tho that Mark did not swipe them from the rucksack and even the Ipod which i think would of been on Dylan's person or at the top of his bag . IMHO

I know there was a report of the sweatpants being left, but do you know if they were actually seen by the reporter or was that something MR told the reporter? Just wanted clarification on this. TY

I don't know the phone number of ONE of my two children's friends......not their cell phones and very few households have land lines anymore. That's the only reason I can think of for not calling. Perhaps the friends in bayfield did not know the friends' in vallecito's numbers. Kids today don't keep up with that stuff because their electric nannies keep all that info for them. No one knows numbers anymore.

I think via Mark .

Also with the sweat pants could they have been left from a past visit ?

I bet you that the friend in Vallecito had the phone numbers in his cell of the friends in Bayfield. It is a very small town and they all go to school together. I bet he had at least one or two of the Bayfield numbers in his phone. JMO

Yes. We don't know anything more than what MR said was taken from his home. It hasn't even been confirmed from LE that the sweatpants were taken, or the football. They very well may have been taken - it just hasn't been confirmed. I don't think ER/CR has made any MSM statements either about any sweatpants.

Also why did Mark not check out where Dylan would of gone fishing ?

surely that is also a place you look for Dylan considering the fishing pole was missing.

yet he has never mentioned going to the lake.

Do we know for sure that he didn't?
I'm willing to bet he has had to tell LE how he spent just about every minute once he got home from running errands until he reported him missing. Unfortunately, we aren't privy to all of that info.

It's my personal opinion that MR didn't notice the fishing pole was gone until LE came to the home that evening and asked him to look for what could be missing or what Dylan could have taken into the woods if he ran away. But that's just my own personal thought and pure speculation.

I think he waited until dusk to start his "search" for Dylan and for a reason.

I have never seen it mentioned anywhere that Mark checked the lake for Dylan .
