I can't believe they advertised these interviews for days to get more people to watch their local news. -_-. Like it would be different if they actually did a 30 minute-1 hour special about the case...

Where did you get the "no evidence" idea from? As far as I know, none of us are privy to what LE did or did not find in his house. Also, how you do you know that everything "checks out" with his story of what happened the night Dylan arrived? TIA

Jumping off your post...I have not yet seen any evidence that Dylan was ever at MR's house.

Once I hear from LE that Dylan was there, then I can look beyond MR.

But in a community where cell phone service is so horrible, it would have numbers for land lines. I find it hard to believe that if the cell service is that bad that people don't have a land line as well. Why put money into a cell phone that doesn't work??????

Yes, you're right. I was thinking more about his friend's cell phone numbers. However, more and more people are going all cell with no land line these days. Who knows? I honestly don't believe my son (12) would know how to look up someone's phone number. We have a list on the fridge with all the emergency numbers, but none of his friends are on it.

Exactly, she interview MR for two hours, we may see 2 minutes? But we should get quotes for days...sigh, because we wonder about direct quotes, context, etc. the whole 9 yards.

Thanks, Tennlyn, and that really underscores why there are such differing opinions about what may have happened to Dylan. As in most cases, none of us knows all the information LE has about where he was and when. The confirmed timeline seems to focus on the time between when he arrived at the airport and when he (allegedly) arrived at his dad's house. IMO it's safe to infer that whatever evidence LE has collected thus far does not rise to the level of creating probable cause to arrest, or they would've already arrested him. On the other hand, that doesn't mean they don't have evidence that makes MR look very suspicious, and could be used in the future to secure an indictment. Unfortunately, IMO, I think we won't see an arrest in this case until later on in the year, when the weather conditions are more conducive to searching.
I certainly have entertained theories that did not include MR, but I agree with others that the timeline and circumstance of his disappearance are unusual for a stranger abduction.

I don't, but then again, I didn't make the assertion that his story didn't check out. Tonto claimed outright that his story "checked out", I was merely pointing out that it is impossible to know unless s/he knows something about the investigation that we don't. You're correct that the opposite is equally true. He could've been completely cleared by LE, for all I know.

MR now says that Dylan was on the couch texting that Sunday night & Dylan was still texting while MR went up to bed. MR also said he tried for 45 min to an hour to wake Dylan Monday morning but could not.

Well honestly I saw something in there that I'm not a bit comfortable with and pretty sure we cannot talk about. So I'm waiting for mods to say what can or cannot be discussed about what we just saw .
