I am pages behind but as to a hitchhiking or walking away scenario I thought I read or maybe it was a comment somewhere that Dylan's scent was not found on that road? After all these weeks of news stories and interviews and Facebook I can't recall where I heard or saw this. Does anyone else remember this?

Who knows? There's been so much mis-information floating around that I am almost back to square one.

I do not think the 9:37 text (however sent) was sent by Dylan either. If it was, and it was no big deal, we would have heard about it way before we did. I do believe Elaine and Cory were aware of this text. There is something about this text that is hush hush and a big part of the investigation. I heard about his text before LE released it.

Mark said in the video store interview that Dylan was exhausted Sunday night because of being at the airport all day and being up until 4:00 the night before. Now he says Dylan wasawake watching movies and ttexting pretty late into the night?? Interesting

There's so much conflicting info (not just by MR) that it's getting really hard to follow. Seriously, I have no clue what is fact and what isn't any more.

OK, I am assuming it's cold there. Why no mention of a jacket? Did he even bring a jacket? Doesn't it strike anyone else as weird that there is no mention of a jacket that, if it is not at his father's house, he would have to have brought with him and should be wearing?

My kids never wore jackets just hoodies no matter how cold it was.
And no they didnt grow up in florida lol they grew up in the cold weather.

Transcript for 9News Live Interview - Melissa Blasius w/ MR, ER, CR and Bender

Sorry - Dropbox not working for some reason and was having trouble getting anything to "attach" in a post.

This time it worked.

Again, sorry..

Sorry, that won't open either. I have to choose which program to open it with, like Office 2010 and then purchase it, and it won't open with anything else. Any suggestions?

BENDER: My understanding is -- and our investigators have checked his cell phone. Also, cell phones have GPS`s, so if they`re turned on, that gives a general location of the person. And we have been following up on those right along, and there`s been no activity on his phone whatsoever since Sunday evening sometime.

Ok, to me no activity whatsoever means just that. Thanks Dee. I don't see that as ambiguous. So he disappeared from MR's house sunday night?:banghead::moo:

Didn't this reporter say that LE found the email account associated with Dylan's iPod and that's what lead to the text discovery? Or something like that? I could have totally been misreading that because I am now lost. Or was it just stated that they found the email account associated with the iPod, then no further info?
I do believe that this 9:37 text is what is leading LE to believe that Dylan made it to MR's house. Was it sent by his cell phone or his iPod or other means? I have no idea. I do know that with my cell phone I have it set up to connect thru my wifi rather than my phone provider when I am at home. Perhaps (if it was sent by the cell) this is what they are seeing? Who was that text sent to and what did it say? Why is that so hush hush?
I don't see any other way they could feel certain that Dylan made it to MR's.

If Dylan was killed in that house by MR or an intruder cadaver dogs would have picked up the death scent in that home would they not? Did cadaver dogs ever go in that home?

I'm very happy to see that both MR and Elaine have taken the bloodhound Sadie up on her offer to help. Why don't they just work together to find their son?

ITA but all that proves is Dylan's phone stopped working on Sunday night for what ever reason.

I'm not going to link to it because I'm not sure if that's permitted, but there's some interesting statement analysis of the interviews out there if anyone cares to Google it.

@SherryGrondin Dylan Redwine used cell until 9:37 the night prior to disappearing, and not at all after that.

I copied the tweet for you and Bender did say that in the video. TXJan has the transcript somewhere on here. Dylan cannot receive a text on his cell if there is no activity past Sunday night. It is impossible unless LE is lying.

I agree. If Bender used the word "activity," IMO, that means no pinging, no nothing, as in the phone is dead. If he was only talking about whether texts were sent, I think he would've specified "no communication." To me, activity is all inclusive, meaning anything that happens on the phone. Then again, I sm a lawyer, and we nitpick every word. :blushing:

cfrey! Can you clarify something that I've seen batted around numerous times? If not, I understand. We've been wondering exactly what is LE's obligation to tell the truth to the public. Some of their statements seem ambiguous and others possibly seem to mislead. Could that be on purpose or is it just so confusing a case and maybe LE doesn't know what to say so they say something that might not even make sense ! LOL, like I just might have done. It seems sometimes when they speak it's not so much to the ' public' as it is to the ' perp'. So I know you can't speak for their intent but do you know how much dishonesty they can get away with in a public statement? TIA !~

Why couldn't that be true??? He was up late the night before, he was exhausted from the days activities. And he was awake at 10:30 pm or so watching a movie and texting.

I haven't been to bed at all this past night. I am exhausted. I'm on the computer at WS. It's 7 am here and I haven't slept a wink. So why couldn't Dylan be exhausted and still be texting that late? Sometimes you get so over tired you can't sleep. It would sure explain why he was so hard to get up the next morning.

And I believe earlier we were talking about Mark not being able to tell if Dylan was playing a game or texting or whether it was all done on his iPod. It's my understanding LE got ahold of email records from Dylan that night which was why they knew about the 9:37 pm text. JMO

I don't know, I just got the impression from his early statements that Dylan was so tired that they barely could even carry a conversation. It just seems to me that the degree of Dylan's exhaustion has changed each time Mark talks. IMO
