MOO is that it doesn't matter what device it came from. I think the content of that text is what is possibly LE"s only real indication of what happened. That's why it was quiet for a long time and it sort of came on at the last minute last week to coincide with the pressure on MR. I think what was said OR who said it is the key .

I think the device is important because if not from a cell phone then it was probably sent from MR's house where there is internet service.

I'm not sure if they released this info to put pressure on someone or they released this info because they just received it back from the crime lab? Or both?

LE has said that Dylan's last text message was sent at 9:37 PM but they haven't said if it was sent via his cell phone or iPod.

Officials revealed Thursday that Dylan arrived at Durango-La Plata airport at 5:46 p.m. Nov. 18; at 7:05 p.m., he was seen at a Durango Walmart; at 7:22 p.m., he went to a Durango McDonald's; and his last text message was sent at 9:37 p.m. on Nov. 18. They hope the information will yield new information.

But the press release itself did NOT specify "sent", so did the reporter have additional info OR did the reporter misinterpret the press release?

Honestly I think the reporter is talking about 'several devices' that LE investigated, not that messages were coming from several devices.

Welcome to my nightmare! MSM often "assumes" things or makes errors that they might consider insignificant, but to all of us, these details are VERY significant! Unless it comes straight from LE (and geez, sometimes not even then, lol) can we be sure it isn't just something some reporter worded wrong. Even when I have attempted to clarify with reporters, they don't always understand the question and often have only their pre-conceived ideas for a "correct answer". *sigh* Whatever happened to good old fashioned investigative journalism? JMO

I feel LE has only suspicions, not evidence, and certainly nothing that is showing them where Dylan is. I imagine they have searched anyplace where they have had a ping.
