Ok, I'm off by a few minutes...but really, what was he doing between the time he texted ER and 6 pm? Did he go have a cup of coffee? What? Why so casual if it "hit" him that there was a "problem" when he went to his friend's house?
JMO

he discussed this in the interview:

Well, not as she indicated to me… no. And that’s when I think she became concerned, and so she called the Sheriff’s Department, but apparently, because I went to the Marshall’s Office and she went to the Sheriff’s Office, there was a time delay in the communication between the Marshall’s Office getting this information out so that.. because apparently because from what I understand the Sheriff’s Office had no idea that I had been to the Marshall’s Office in that short period of time.

he makes it sound as if he went to the marshal's around the same time ER called the sheriff

I may have missed a previous post, but does Melissa actually have additional tapes she plans to upload, or is that just wishful thinking on our part?

Well I am hoping they spoke with LE for longer than 21 seconds....

so wishful thinking on my part

2 p.m.: A postal worker may have seen Dylan walking on County Road 501 near Vallecito with another boy. Both reportedly were wearing hooded sweatshirts and had black backpacks.

Did we ever hear anything else on this citing? Could this have been Dylan and his kidnapper or the RSO that Salem mentioned?

the citings were ruled as not true

I was just typing a post about Melissa. For all you TWITS in here (had to... sorry):floorlaugh:... for those of you who TWEET - could you please send Melissa a very kind thank you on my behalf (or all of WS behalf) for providing the transcripts to her WS Followers! You may also ask her if she would like a transcript, I'd be glad to provide mine for her review and/or file.

I sent her a message on FB earlier today thanking her for the uncut interviews. For us non-tweeters, there's that option. And for those non-FBers, you can probably email her at the 9news website.

I've been saying this practically since day 1. The RSO that lives within 1 mile of MR's house was busted for child 🤬🤬🤬🤬. 1000s of images. Not sure why he isn't still locked up. But in my opinion, LE should have not only talked to him and verified his alibi, they should have searched his house, high and low! He is a dangerous *!?* in my opinion and he is in a perfect position to have snatched Dylan off the street.

I will not cross this SO off my list as a potential perp, until LE tells us they have thoroughly checked him, his house, his car and anything else he had access too.

Salem

Do you recall his name? He's the relatively clean cut/young looking one, if I recall, right? I wouldn't mind sleuthing some more tomorrow from work.

Mark said he tried texting Dylan all afternoon in an area with spotty cellphone service. When he didn't hear anything back by late afternoon, he went to Dylan's friend's house in Vallecito. That friend hadn't seen him.

I wouldn't exactly call 2:30 late afternoon.

hmmm didn't maybe in the last interview MR say he went to T's house & he hadn't seen Dylan, not that he wasn't home. Does anyone remember that or am I not remembering right?

I did verify, best as I could, that Dylan had a friend named T who has parents that DO own a house on the lake at CR 501, a long walk from dad's house but definitely on the way to anywhere out of Vallecito. I wouldn't say this was a go-to pal like R and W, who have been all over the media and FMDR FB page (with parents too) but he's listed as one of Dylan's FB friends so dad got that much right. T is probably the friend who lives closest to MR's house.

Shame that LE gives a different time :banghead: JMO

Several possible sightings of Dylan were reported early on, but those have been discounted.

People reported seeing him walking but all of those reports turned out to be unsubstantiated. (There is another older boy at the lake who looks similar to Dylan)

That isn't at all clear to me. I see a lot more anger on here and FB than I do in his video. I would hope that appearing angry isn't a good reason for anyone to "go after" anyone hard, not even LE. MOO

Well, I don't know what to say <mod snip>. But, LE should absolutely go hard (my words). If Mr. Redwine is unaware of Dylan's whereabouts, then he has nothing about which to be concerned. And, he being an adult (w/a missing child no less) should be perfectly capable of handling that pressure, especially since he's made it pretty clear that LE is the entitiy responsible for finding his son (which is another example of misplaced anger BTW).

Well, I don't know what to say about you not seeing it. But, LE should absolutely go hard (my words). The notion that investigators should be concerned w/the ego of Mark Redwine is bullocks, and it does nothing but hinder uncovering the truth.

I love the way you think! If you're anything like this outside of the virtual world, I bet people tell you you're "mean" all the time...or cold, uncaring, not sensitive to people's feelings, blunt, etc. etc. :floorlaugh:
From one who "knows" what that's all about!

So which is it....now he says that no one was home

LE has to be loving this

:waitasec:

I was wondering when someone was going to catch that. When I was transcribing, I was like, "Huh???? Wait a minute, I thought.... wait a minute... no... I was right... MR said before that when he realized DR wasn't around he went FIRST to the friend's house in Vallecito, and that friend hadn't seen him!!!!"

I remember making a bit of a stink about it because I couldn't understand why he would go there when he knew that the plans were all along TO GO TO BAYFIELD. So I just put it aside as another thing that didn't quite make sense... and, as MR would say: BAM! I'm typing away and next thing I hear is that Vallecito boy wasn't even home and/or no one answered the door!

So.... she ponders....once again...

After watching the first part of the interview, I would say this man is hurting, and that he had absolutely nothing to do with the disappearance of his son, whom he obviously loves very much.

Salem

And let's face it, a dude busted for distributing child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 knows people who LIKE child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 ! Who knows what type of visitors he has coming and going?

I'm going to have to find the *@## link, but there was something put out (officially) that said ER notified the sheriff at approx 4:30 pm after receiving the text from MR. It was also reported that MR did not arrive at the Marshall's office until shortly after 6:00 pm.

MOO

Could it be that MR arrived at 4 ish like he said, meets an investigator , tells them what he knows, they ask a bunch of questions, maybe call in a superior officer, ask what they think, make a few phone calls, and write up a report and the official TIME that they said Ok we're off and running with this missing child case is 6 ish ? Just thinking out loud here, but paperwork and information gathering would take a bit of time !

Umm, no. Paperwork is (or shouldn't be) a major ordeal. LE said he went to the Marshall's office, (not the Sheriff) shortly before 6 pm.
There would be no investigator/superior officer involved at that point. JMO

Wait...what? At first he says Dylan's friend hadn't seen him and now Dylan's friend wasn't even home?

Seriously the way he talks in circles is so irritating. He doesn't give a direct answer to anything. He just bounces from this to that to this.

Must be "Mark Logic"

Of course he hadn't seen him, since he wasn't there to see him:floorlaugh:

Can imagine CR/ER frustration with his 'communcations' style
