Thanks jjenny. I would also like to add that I think it is important for everyone who can to watch and listen to this video for themselves. In so many cases comments from the video are either being posted wrong, out of context or with the posters slant on the meaning, etc. Not trying to be bosy but some of the posts I am seeing give me cause to wonder if we were watching the same video. jmo :banghead:

Will do. :)

I thought I read "her"....sorry for any confusion, will just have to watch it myself. :)

Has anyone heard anything about what the psychics are saying?

Whether they feel DR is alive or already passed?

I think the official word from FMDR FB is that they have talked to a number of psychics and have tried to discern any common threads from their tips. IMO you can put ten psychis in a room and get ten different answers, just like us!

ETA: Sorry if we don't talk about psychics. Did not know but will refrain from doing so down the road.

I've been reading along, not willing to really speculate. But looking at facts:

- Dylan's mother was awarded sole custody. And there was a reason for that.

- Dylan didn't see his dad for 2 months after that.

- The visit Dylan was making was court-ordered.

- The last anyone outside of Dylan's father heard from him was Sunday night.

- Dylan wanted to visit friends, not hang out with a dad he hadn't seen in months.

I am speculating that there was pretty good reason for a man to feel hard done by, right there.

And I am also speculating that a man nursing anger for several months, toward Dylan's mother and/or his kids who were all but estranged, could snap and hurt his son. And then lie about it.

Pedos who snatch kids from houses generally watch the house for a time, get secure in their opportunities to dive in and take their victim. Dylan hadn't seen his father for months. To me, it's a bit much of a stretch to speculate that a pedo happened by in the early hours of Monday and saw RM leave, and somehow also knew there was a boy alone in the house with no other adults present.

So IMO, a random house-snatching is pretty much off the cards.

And I am speculating that a text-proficient boy up early to go see his pals and planning on going alone would have texted them before he left or shortly after.

The chances of a random pedo happening to cruise past a boy from a troubled family who was left in the house alone, excited to see his friends, and who just happened that morning not to indulge his habit of texting his friends about everything, all coinciding at 7.30am-11.30am on a Monday is pretty slim, but I am sure it's happened to someone, somewhere. Pedos do tend to be opportunistic.

But just looking at the facts above, I think probability alone suggests Dylan's dad knows exactly where Dylan is.

I agree with you! This has always bothered me from the beginning. Therefore, instead of some random person coming to take Dylan, it seems to me (speculating here!) that it had to be someone that knew MR (or friend of a friend thing). OR, it had to be a friend of DR or someone that knew one of them. These seem to be the only people that would even know that DR would be in town. AND it would also have to be someone that knew MR was going to run errands the next morning. Even then, it would have to be someone that not only knew MR was running errands, but that DR was not going to be tagging along on those errands. Taking all of these into consideration, it seems a very narrow target to find just a couple of people that would know these facts.

Unless, as I stated earlier (speculating then too!) DR had made arrangements for someone to pick him up the next morning. This could have been done via a text message or a phone call from the house phone.

Just my rambling speculations....:waitasec:

JMO and only my opinion but I'm not buying anything MR is selling. I believe he was well rehearsed about some of this, but unable to predict exactly what might be asked and those questions (and his answers) are very sketchy, at best. I can see several things that are completely unnecessary, (no relevance to any of this, what-so-ever), and many "detail specific" blips that do NOT line up with things that are already known or that HE, HIMSELF already stated. Just a couple of things that come to mind: 1. There is a large gap of time between waking up at 2:30, and appearing at the Marshall's office at "shortly after 6 pm" (was he stalling for time? Dark?) 2. Arriving at the other friend's house instead of the friend he was supposed to be meeting with. 3. What happened to the football? 4. Why would anyone move their tv over the only spot in the living room that got good cell service? And why would anyone move their furniture around when their child is missing...I don't care if things were moved during the search. They sure wouldn't be rearranging furniture, so why not just push it back into its original position? ....I have more, but I'm really angry right now and need some time to sort through my thoughts on all of this. I don't work for LE, but as an Investigator I do work closely with LE and conduct similar procedures. I also conduct interviews every day and have significant training in interviewing techniques. If this was my interview, I would have to say I see red flags thrown out everywhere! JMO, MOO

Thank you...Thank you...Thank you!!! I have been in CPS and APS Investigations, as well as Claims Investigations, for 15 years and I thoroughly agree about the many red flags. However, we don't know what LE is already on to...hopefully we will know soon.

My apologies. I figured that since the MSM mentioned it that it was allowed. I will try to remember. New here and don't know all the rules yet.

No I would say to have a gun sitting on the table while you are doing an interview about your missing child is not in any way shape or form 'normal' even here in the U.S.

unless it"s meant to be seen by someone, like a silent threat

BBM - what came to mind for me, have you ever had to confront someone and you go through the conversation in your mind. If he/she says this, then this is what I'm going to say. That type of debate/planning/rehearsing in your mind.

Then you get into the conversation and he/she never says anything you expected, BUT you still have to get those points in because you rehearsed them.

That's what I thought happened in some of the interview, rehearsed and then had to get that point in because it was part of the rehearsal.

I couldn't hear the Youtube at all, so I shared the video from Youtube to my FB on my phone. Then I could play it with a good sound and volume. I am glad I did that rather than wait for transcription. You really get the emotion behind the verbiage when you can actually hear MR's voice. jmo

You have to look at the timeline of the messages. RN texted DR at 6:43 pm to see if he was coming to "pagosa." DR's response was that he couldn't. DR and MR were at Walmart at 7:05 pm. It sounds to me that the first scenario you came up with is not a possibility. Since it appears DR already told RN he can't come before DR and MR went to Walmart.

No, you are right. I was just trying to think about the scenario being more of a casual exchange vs. an argument. We don't know which it was.

We have made a pretty big deal out of MR telling Dylan no. But how the conversation played out between the two of them could have gone several ways. Maybe MR straight up said "NO", maybe it was "How about (insert the blank) instead?". Dylan could have been angry & thrown out some teenager attitude/sarcasm, etc. Or, maybe not. Maybe he shrugged it off and it did not become some sort of MR vs DR confrontation.

I'm not saying that Dylan wanted his parents to get back together. I was talking in general about children of divorce and yes, it does very much depend on the parents attitude about each other, etc....

Was just jumping off your post, scorekeeper.. didn't mean to make any assumptions about your opinion! :seeya:

MR mentioned the RSO down the end of the road
MR also questioned how LE could have checked the 20 or so RSOs in the area within the first 24/48 hours

I wonder if he knew the guy before hand or just found out about during the investigation? Wonder if, as a father, if he ever went down and checked out/talked to the guy after Dylan was reported missing?

Just wanted to add...it really doesn't take that long to check the whereabouts of anyone or confirm their alibi. We are talking 10-12 SO in that area. Why the fuss and negative reference from MR? Is he in LE? MOO

Yes, he says he took a nap after coming home.
Says he wasn't worried because he assumed Dylan just was around somewhere (I am paraphrasing here).

Oh Lord! That doesn't sound good at all. IMO
