LOL also I dont recall anything about poly tests and times in the UNCUT interviews did you?

text times... (she put an x where the s should have been)

  • #323
When MB double checked on the text at 9:37 being sent from Dylan's phone, she got the info by email from Bender -

Sherry ‏@SherryGrondin
@DylanRedwine @MelissaBlasius @SherryGrondin WHO confirmed. Where can that confirmation be found? Media article? Press release? Where?

Melissa Blasius ‏@MelissaBlasius
@SherryGrondin LPCSO Spokesman Dan Bender. Again, do you have info to say otherwise?

Sherry ‏@SherryGrondin
@MelissaBlasius Bender told you? Do you have that on video? Why no press release from LE stating same?

Melissa Blasius ‏@MelissaBlasius
@SherryGrondin Since Mark's and Elaine's stories differed about test times during my interviews, I emailed Bender when I returned to Denver.

Melissa Blasius ‏@MelissaBlasius
@ClarystaInSun @kyleclark @9news It was sent from his phone #dylanredwine

That makes much more sense !
It's a shame we can't send a list of say 20 questions to LE
and see if it helps anything.
I mean I get that it is their job and they would frown on the idea
but I'm thinking about how many of us there are and how many
stones we've turned over and wondering REALLY has LE thought
of all of that ? No offense LE, love you guys ! :)
But I'm also thinking that sometimes a paid job does not get
done as thoroughly as a 'for the love of' job.
Like you know who cleans a house better? A germophobe with OCD
or a maid you pay 10 bucks an hour? RIGHT? See what I mean?
We are the germophobes with OCD trying to clean this up and
that type of obsessive drive really uncovers a lot. Although for all
we know we haven't thought of one really hard core question that
could break it wide open . :(

9Wants To Know has learned the father of missing teen Dylan Redwine says he has accepted a private investigator's offer to help find his son.

Mark Redwine also says a search dog handler from News Mexico has also offered to assist the family, free of charge. Dylan, who turns 14 years old Wednesday, disappeared from southwestern Colorado on Nov. 19, 2012.

another snip

Both of Dylan's parents, who are divorced, recently returned to their jobs, as the search for the teen stretches into a third month
http://www.9news.com/news/article/315231/339/Missing-Dylan-Redwine-turns-14-

(only put last snip because I had seen other posts wondering if the parents were back to work)

great video at the link too of all his friends telling him happy birthday

I'm late to the game here as I've had personal issues to attend to, but I just read MR's transcript. I hate to drag out the statement analysis stuff again, but what struck me most about the interview was the EXTRA information. The statements of what he did, and then the *because* - the why of it - explaining why he did every little thing. The statement analysis people see that as a red flag b/c people restating facts that are true don't feel the need to explain, justify, etc. It's people who are creating stories who need to give background to convince others that it's plausible, b/c it doesn't sound plausible to the person saying it.
When he started all that explaining it was around the movie Sunday night. He was pacing the floor. and all these umms, you knows, and all these explanations of what and why. That's a timeframe that needs to be clarified more. *snipped by me*

BBM

Now that I've had a little over 24 hours to process the differences between the MR & ER interviews, you just hit the nail on the head for me. Thank you, absentia!

During ER's interview, I was uncomfortable with all the long pauses of silence between ER's answers & the interviewer's questions. There were no such long pauses between MR & the interviewer's question/answers. I didn't realize until you said it, absentia, that the reason why there weren't any long pauses is because MR is talking so much.

As several other WS members have brought up, MR's tone is the same throughout the interview. MR only gets upset when thinking of past memories with DR & that's his only change in tone.

I tried sending a tweet last night to KT/MB, but it never posted. Does 9News screen what ones they post or did I screw up?

  • #330
Yea, I am pretty sure people in Mexico can use phones.

Not sure if this has been addressed, still catching up and trying to get ready for work.
I use to go to Mexico a lot, your phone works just fine. BUT, there is a roaming charge (like it would matter in this case) unless you add international calling to your plan. To call to the states you need to dial the country code and then the area code then the phone number. Or at least that was how I had to do.

You dont think LE reads here?

I think if they do they would just think of a bunch of nit picking hens
and not necessarily take us seriously. I don't know.

Not much of a tweeter, but I think this is how it goes. Put a period in front of the tweet, and it shows up for everybody. Without the period, it only shows up to the recipient. If that's wrong, I'm sure somebody can correct.

I do believe they read all social media, column comments, blogs, forums etc. Perpetrators or witnesses might engage, sort of the modern version of criminals taunting the police/public with letters to the newspapers.

I don't even think Phil, or Oprah, etc. would bring parents of missing kids onto their shows, unless there was drama and tension between family members, or suspicion on one or more of the parents.

I also have doubts about the usefulness, but I guess you have to try everything you can. I doubt very much that Dylan is anyplace where he could be seen by the public, whether alive or otherwise. As a teenage boy, vs. a child or perhaps even a girl, I doubt very much a kidnapper would risk taking him out and about.

More likely, it will just be more drama, IMO.

Dr Phil has been known to give his guests polygraphs and I think if MR were to go he would ask him to take one.

Well, to be fair moving one's son 6 hours away from his father is kind of a 'first shot fired', IMO.

Well to be fair, bettering your life and the life of your child is not IMO considered a "first shot fired". It's called taking care of your child. Should all divorced people live a stagnat life?
