I think Brown came to the case via local connections. At first, Dog the Bounty Hunter's son (who I'm sure has a real name but I don't know it) tweeted and retweeted Dylan's missing flyer then FMDR folks began deluging Dog and Brown (who have done Dog's tv show together) and caught Brown's attention. All of this unfolded on FMDR FB page in late Dec/early Jan.

Not sure how I feel about bounty hunters and missing kids but am encouraged by also accepting legit search offers (like the K-9s) at the same time. I think the family is feeling desperate. Psychics may get in the way but media exposure isn't a bad thing, IMO.

Googling 'em right along with you.....

I Feel better about them than I do the ghost hunters because at least dog in other bounty hunters have experience in tracking down people.

What is DR Phil ?

I'm trying to go over the differences between the videos and try to list them and eliminate or accept

MR said he got home about 815 from there, that's where some of the differences come in:
Did they play or toss the football around?
Did they watch a movie?
Did Dylan go to sleep right away?
(those are the 3 versions he has given)

In the morning:
What time did he wake up? (I don't think this has even been asked)
Did he see if Dylan's phone was on the charger? (I don't think this has even been asked)
He tried for 45 minutes to wake Dylan:
Once he was out like a light
Another time he acknowledge MR and said I understand
In the video he didn't mention any acknowledgement from DR
MR took a nap, but previously said he had texted DR and searched for him during the afternoon
MR went to a friend of DR's and once he was there and hadn't seen DR, the next time he wasn't there at all.
The fishing pole, MR said he noticed that was missing, I'd like to know where he stores those - but does anyone know if that's been mentioned?
Anything else I'm missing?

I thought I read on FB C said they were in the garage.

yes, he doesn't deny actually having done something. His extra explanations and justifications are only present when discussing what happened Sunday night after the movie, so I think that's when something happened.

Me too!

From the video, MR's house looked reasonably neat. Hard to tell how white glove clean it was from a video. No scary Addams Family cobwebs for sure. I did notice sneakers on the floor and what looked like a snack bag of some kind on the bottom of the end table. It definitely has the look of a man's house, white walls and brown everything else. I'm just the opposite of you. Let's just say I'm not the arch enemy of dirt so it all looked pretty presentable to me. I used to feel bad when people dropped in unexpectedly, but I finally figured out it probably made them happy to think, "Gee, my place looks better than this."

IIRC though...in the interview he sort of intimated that he had rearranged the furniture:

You know, in one place he might be he can’t get service and then he could take a step to the left or a step to the right and voila all of a sudden he has service, and the two places he told me he could get service was from the corner of the couch where he was sitting, which has been changed, but right by the TV there, and my room.

And what is it do you think they could have possibly found in phone records?
Dylan wasn't using his phone since Sunday evening.

Information was circulating until the Sheriff's press release on January 23 that the last activity on the phone was shortly after 8pm.

If ER had pulled the phone records herself she would have known about the 9:37 text. Would have saved Websleuths from 6 weeks of misinformation.

It has no real bearing though for all the reasons others have stated (who sent the text, where was the phone at the time it was sent, why didn't he text again the next morning, etc)

Other note: Interesting plea to MR on the official FMDR Facebook page right now.

I would love to see them ALL on Dr Phil.

Not going to happen. At this point, she has essentially accused him of doing something to their son. As a single man myself, if my ex publically did that to me I wouldn't communicate with her either. I would do my thing and try to find my son in my own way. If she wanted to continue to indict me in the media, then that's her thing and she's welcome to it. But it's not finding my son.

Does he have a dog?

FWIW Cory said garage then somebody corrected him and said shed. Either way I highly doubt he kept them in the house. So how all of sudden (while at Tristan's house) did MR realize a fishing pole was missing?

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember reading where MR stated he drove to the lake looking for Dylan before going to the friend's house. So maybe he checked the fishing poles. We have so many one would never know if one had been missing.

Nope, I was not clear in my question.

I didn't mean to imply he was up eating when MR left.

I meant why didn't he answer his Dad's texts or calls that morning? Or RN's texts?

If he had time to sit around and watch cartoons and eat cereal, why couldn't he answer texts from his Dad?

that is a great question!!! (I think that would be a great question for the reporter to ask Mark Redwine or fine out: exactly what time did you send texts to Dylan and perhaps: do you have a copy of your phone records we could look at for times to validate your claims?)

(isn't someone getting a email list of questions for the reporter? Wonder if it is too late to ask that?)

Tonto, I think something happend in this marriage that would make her suspect him of doing something to dylan. JMO
We dont know what went on between these two but they sure seem to dislike each other.
Dylan went missing on Marks watch not Elaines. So yea if he were my ex Id be plenty PO'd myself.

Good plan. A bruised ego is definitely most important in a situation such as this.

He is a talk show host

Thanks , is it popular show as all I can picture is a Jerry Springer type show if they get Cory , Elaine and Mark on there at the same time as I can't picture it being calm .

Agreed. More Dr Phil drama with offer from MH on FMDR just posted -

In fact, this kind of stuff *guarantees* that the person won't do what you want them to do. When people act like this, it makes it 100% certain to me that they don't want what they say they want.

It's never too late. I'm curious about all the discrepancies between the two video's and I'd like to see LE clarify the last electronic communication (texting). MB says "sent from cell phone" but I'm not exactly convinced she isn't just assuming this.

A bruised ego? If my ex publically accused me of doing something to my kid, organized a mob outside of my house, and then had the nerve to try to shame me into appearing on a confrontational television show, I'd tell her to go jump in the deepest hole. There is nothing good that could come out of that. Especially for my kid - where my focus would be.
