BBM - Actually it did work, Elaine gave her interview to GMA and shortly after that MR did the interview at the video store.

2nd BBM - do you have a link for anything ER said to MR when they were texting? IIRC - MR texted ER asking if she knew where DR was. There is also mention from ER (Nancy Grace) where she mentioned that she said that they needed to contact the Marshalls, which she did and she believed that MR contacted the Sheriff. MR mentions pretty much the same in his 9 News uncut interview.

In all those interviews, there is NOTHING that says she was nasty or accusatory or anything else. EVEN MR indicates that he "understands" that she needs to blame someone.

Very sad day in my world that if a child is missing, the feelings and emotions of a parent takes priority.

I am twice divorced. I know that beyond a shadow of a doubt if one of my children were to be missing, there is one ex that would be very supportive, listen to me rant & rave, take all the verbal punches and then probably grab hold of me and say, "listen, know it off! We need to focus on this" and then there would be another ex that would not say a dang word to me and would put the focus on him, his feelings, etc.

My bolding

Teresa Martinez, a friend of Mark Redwine, said Cory and Elaine Redwine have sent “ugly” and “threatening” messages to Mark Redwine, asking him, “Where is Dylan, you piece of (explicative).”

Do you mean the "gist" of the comment? How about statements made by the admin of the FMDR page. Are those considered to be "comments" and are subject to the same rules?

yes and yes

  • #623
Just so I'm understanding this correctly... We can say they are talking about doing a Dr Phil show over on FMDR but we cannot specifically discuss the comments that people are saying about it?

Sorry not trying to be a pain...

In other words if people want to go read for themselves they can but we are not allowed to discuss individual comments about it here? But we can talk in general about them doing a Dr Phil show?

Am I close?

yes.

The dr. phil show has been in the msm and that it why the further discussion was allowed of that.

If it was a criminal complaint, those records are typically public and can be accessed by anyone. As far as the divorce files go, I don't think just anyone can walk in and read or get copies of these files. I may be wrong, but since discussion of the children are in these records then I would hope that some privacy is maintained. I may be confusing this with CPS files though.

O/T - I was working in the courts and there was a couple that had a lot of money going through a divorce. The lawyers were making a killing off of it. They had no kids and were only fighting over the dog. It had gone on for over 5 years and several large carts of paperwork had to be reeled into the courtroom every time there was a hearing. It's amazing the lengths people will go to when they are bitter with one another.

It truely does take two to tango.

Yeh, it worked well for her, didn't it??? He didn't say another word for almost 2 months.

And I will go back to WHAT SHE SAID TO HIM during the time they were texting. If she was rude and nasty and accusatory, (which I believe she was) then I wouldn't have text her or answered another phone call from her again either. Making excuses for rude behavior and treating someone like crap isn't productive. She could have gotten more flies with honey than with vinegar. She used vinegar, she didn't get what she wanted.

AND 8 days and her first interview is "right off the bat" or "from the get-go" which was what I was answering.

Well, it anyone lost my baby on their watch and acted that non chalantly and not address my questions they would get a lot more from me than rude texts!

Aren't arrest records, divorce records and all that public record there? Except what is sealed by the court?

Okay, I do not know why I assumed the show would also air on Tuesday. But I do not believe it takes two days of taping because it is filmed in front of a studio audience, and it doesn't seem too convenient to make everyone come back the next day. Plus, on their website, they say that they film two shows a day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Does anyone know when Baby Lisa's parents filmed their Dr. Phil episode? It aired on February 3. That might give us some idea.

However, I find it very hard to believe that the show is perfectly fine with not having a definite answer two days before it films. So I think they know whether they are doing it or not, just haven't announced it on the FB page.

Dr Phil has made an effort to be a lot more topical lately. So they do shows about stuff that is "taken from the headlines", that type of thing. For example, the week before last he spent two days interviewing the guy who was responsible for the Manti Te'o fake girlfriend hoax (I know this because Jeopardy is one of the few shows I'm religious about and Dr Phil is on after Jeopardy).

So Dr Phil has to keep his schedule a lot more flexible (and not tape in advance) to keep open slots for big stories that go viral. My guess is that Dr Phil knows they have a slot open next week, so if the Redwines want to do the show they should definitely take that slot. In my opinion they should jump at it, no hesitation. Three weeks from now things could pop up that would fill up the slots and leave the Redwines without an opportunity.

I've been thinking back and going through news stories and searching facebook and I'm coming up empty. It's been said a million times that Elaine has questions and Cory has questions, and I think both of them have stated it more than once themselves, but I can't find anything saying what even one of those questions are. Has anybody seen any of the questions? I'm just curious what the questions are.

Sorry to repeat myself, I posted this in the last thread, but I wouldn't be surprised if Dr Phil asked Mark to take a polygraph. I also wouldn't be surprised if that's something that has crossed Mark's mind when considering whether to do the show or not (of course this is obviously speculation by me).

Oh yeah he used his work trip as an excuse but anything that will prolong or stall time gives him more of an advantage IMO because sometimes more time = less evidence.

When Toni Ingram went on Dr Phil does anybody remember offhand how long it took from the show taping to the show airing? And how long in advance the taping was scheduled?

I haven't seen any specific questions either. Maybe Mark answered their questions during his latest interview. MOO.

I believe it was mentioned on NG that ER refused to talk about anything in that article.

Link to Toni's blog where she mentions the show. Per the post she and Steve were in LA working with the show from November 2 to November 7 or maybe 8th since that's the date of the post. The show aired on November 12. http://morganingram.com/wordpress/?p=2178

That's what I keep trying to say. Over time people will lose interest. They have to jump on opportunities as they come. It's all about getting Dylan's face and name out there. I would think that those who believe that this is a stranger abduction would be pushing for this more than those who don't. If a stranger abduction there is the possibility that Dylan is alive out there some where. How would anyone know about him? How would people know his name and face? MR specifically thought Dylan was abducted and taken out of the area. Do people out of the area know who Dylan Redwine is? Would they recognize his face?

And for those concerned with how Dr Phil will make MR look...if it were me in this situation I wouldn't give a rats arse about that. Getting my child's face on National TV in the hopes they might still be alive and someone might recognize them would be all that mattered to me. I would tell Dr Phil to bring it on. Question me, polygraph me, do whatever you want to me and draw what ever conclusion you want to draw of me. I don't care! Just help me find my child!!!

And yes this is what I would do EVEN IF everyone were pointing their fingers at me! (if I was innocent that is)

So MR getting mad at Elaine for her accusatory statement early on is a good excuse for not trying to find his child?

Of course it is! This whole thing is all about punishing Elaine. MOO

I really don't know how accommodating the show would be. They want the family on this week, but Mark wants to wait until three weeks. Will the show reschedule? I'm sure there have been many guests over the years who have requested a rescheduling, and I bet for most of them, the show just decided to pass. They can't just move every guest around to whatever day is best for them. They have thousands of potential guests out there; Is there any point in moving everything around? I hope that since Dylan is a missing child, and national attention is more essential to his story, than most guests, that they would be more flexible than normal.

I really don't understand why Toni and Steve would be in LA for 5 days, when the Dr. Phil's show taping is only one day. :waitasec: Aren't they originally from the area...Maybe they decided to visit family or friends? But I am skeptical that someone would need to take 5 days off from work to do the Dr. Phil show. 3 at the most...One day to get there, one day to film, and one day to leave.

There are so many missing persons and missing children. And I'm sure there will be more between now and then sadly. The media likes to focus on hot issues not on stale ones. This is just the way it is. If another child goes missing between now and then Dr Phil may choose to do a show on them instead. Or if there's any other breaking news. It's the media.
