Has there been new video released? The "uncut" video I saw you couldn't hear her "first" question. MOO

Quite true. The camera starts to roll while he is speaking, thus we do not hear the question MR was answering.

Without probable cause, LE would not be able to go onto private property without permission.

It is an issue that many SAR have.

Yes, but with a child missing, I would imagine most people (especially absent owners) would readily give permission for a search.

I believe that Ransom is trying to help you get that answer.

Unfortunately, we must do this the long way around.

It did not address the question. (imo) But then again, I'm easily confused...:blushing:

I think they need to start over with the investigation. Begin at MR's house and canvass the area with the dogs. I also would like to know more specifics on why they ruled out the postal worker sighting.

I feel like things have been terribly derailed by the drama between the parents and the divorce issues. Their issues are not uncommon from many other couples. Many couples have bad stories to tell about what happened in their marriage or in divorce and many are unable to communicate well. Who is hurt the most by this, the children. Parents just don't typically print their issues in the paper or on SM sites.

We see cases on here of children that seem to vanish in thin air all the time. There are always unexplainable things that don't make sense or add up. Then later, we find out it was a abduction or accident that had nothing to do with the parents at all. Although extensive searches are done, a lot of times the child is found later, near where they searched by someone out walking and it is usually near where the child disappeared from.

Maybe MR doesn't want to play the FB game or the Dr. Phil game, which is exactly what I think it is. Maybe he doesn't want to get into a texting argument so only what he says out of who knows how many texts gets posted on FB, again another game that has caused further isolation. I think there have been outside influences that have encouraged this game to continue and progress and it has caused harm that may not be able to be repaired.

Therefore, the parents can both still work towards the goal of finding Dylan but I don't think that they will be able to get past the anger and stand side by side in doing so and I don't see how it would make any difference if they worked separately or together.

They ruled out the postal worker siting because it was determined to be a young man who favors Dylan in looks. I do not have a link.

I just can't imagine what could clear him, though, short of an arrest with good evidence of someone else. Even if stranger DNA was found at the home at some point, that would not rule out his involvement.

At the moment, I can't imagine what could convict him.

Apart from the circumstantial evidence of no phone pings in an area know for poor and patchy service, there isn't any evidence whatsoever.

Its as if the case revolves around people trying to prove it was MR, instead of investigating it from a neutral standpoint. Just my opinion.

Obviously, I have no idea who did what, but surely its better to investigate with no preconceptions - then nothing will be missed, and every avenue will be explored. Otherwise, things might get missed.

That's for sure. I'm preplexed by the reaction to this news. I can see being cautiously optimistic, but to completely ignore it or discount it out of hand just because? Makes one wonder why, ya know? What are they afraid of? Why wouldn't they want this tip to be true??? That sure looks like what it seems to me. IMO, MOO.

I honestly think everyone wants to find Dylan and the perp who committed this crime but a lot of us, I think, would like to find out that we have some good sleuthing skills too. Just being honest.

As far as the statement analysis, many of the same discrepancies were noted by the analyzer in Sierra Lamars case and Jessica Ridgeways.

A lot of the other points that you mentioned above are rumor and speculation. LE may have the answers to a lot of these, but we are not privy.

Agreed this does not make the man guilty in and of itself but when I see/ read about many of the things MR has said or done it would not surprise me if he turned out to be "our man". However everything I posted is verified as coming out of his mouth in the uncut video with MB or has been verified by LE except whether or not he tried to call DR on the landline Monday morning. That I have never heard either way.

What specifically are you saying is rumor and or speculation?

The fmdr admin has been posting in places we aren't allowed to link and/or discuss here.

I have a few questions on my mind this morning.
Did either parent have a life insurance policy on Dylan?
Has either parent been to court for any type of changes
in the custody/ support case of Dylan since Nov. 19 ?
Have any of Dylans' very close friends moved out of state
in the recent months ?

Im not suggesting anyone knows these answers, but
I wonder how to find out !

Well I can see a husband or wife killing one or the other for money but not their child.

Mark went to see his Divorce Lawyer that day so we are not privy to that info

And I dont think any of his friends moved!

True, just thinking about any reason why the ticket might possibly have been a one way one, trying to figure out the wording in Mark's interviews. He certainly has a rambling way of speaking, with a lot of things thrown in that don't seem to apply from the outside listening point. They probably make sense in his head, though.

I was wondering in general why take a plane when it is only 6 hours car time (by Mapquest), but then I realized the rest of the world probably doesn't like to travel by car as much as I do. I hate sitting for two hours in an airport for a 1 hour flight and another hour to get out of the airport and to your car. By that time, I could almost have driven.

It sure saves money to go by car, though. When my stepdaughter lived with us, she spent some holidays with her mother, who lived about 8 or 9 hours away at the time, so we all met in a halfway point to deliver her to them, and then again to pick her up.
I can see flying a kid across the country but within the same state kind of seems expensive to me. I'm sure the flight itself would only take about an hour, give or take a few minutes. I flew from Lubbock to Dallas once and the flight was only a little over an hour. It's probably close to the same distance as it is from CS to Durango. If they met halfway it would only be about 2-1/2 to 3 hours driving time for each one, and cost a whole lot less than flying.

These days with the price of gas AND airlines like Southwest that ' specialize' in short, cheap local flights AND purchasing ahead of time, it might be cheaper to fly !

Tx, you're in Texas right? Remember when Southwest was sort of young and they had 29$ flights all day from dfw to houston or austin as a promo. They went like every 45 minutes all day long back and forth. That's how Southwest made their money and their name !

There are other things going on that the family is dealing with and that is why there are not any posts from the family.

Have the dogs hit on anything?

  • #536
That's Mark's quote. If Mark hired him to "do his dirty work", then Mark would have involvement. :waitasec:

Yes, I know it's Mark's quote and I agree with you about involvement if that were the case, but a lot of people who commit crimes justify reasons to themselves and might say to themselves and everyone else that they were not involved in "where he's at" if someone else disposed of him or hid him. That's what I meant.

I wonder how Dylans Grandmother is ?

there were no reports as to if the search has taken place yet (it was supposed to start last saturday per msm reports but they got a lot of bad weather that day)

Haven't heard any other msm reports on when the date is for the search with the K9 group but I have been keeping my eyes out for it.
