And this is exactly the type of thing that some people may not think relevant to the case but as an after thought they decided to call it in just in case.
Yep, and this could break. this. case.!!
Something is very very wrong here. Very wrong. Back to sitting on my hands. I might have to put myself in a straight jacket before the day's over.
IMO the above does confirm that there are in fact "universal" ways that human beings express themselves.. This IMO lends credence to my opinion that true it is that "NOT EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD IS GOING TO ACT/REACT THE SAME"...but that All people express emotions on their faces IN EXACTLY THE SAME WAYS.Facial expressions of emotion, including macro-, micro-, and subtle expressions, are universal and independent of race, culture, ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, religion, or any other demographic variable. All people express emotions on their faces in exactly the same ways. Moreover, they are immediate, automatic, and unconscious reactions
The above quote IMO is representative of what I personally believe to be of importance regarding the various parts of a case or investigation..Recognition of facial expressions of emotion and statement analysis represent important tools that investigators can add to their toolkit to help them conduct interviews and interrogations more efficiently and accurately. But, like any such tool, they need to be supplemented with corroborating statements, physical and forensic evidence, and hard work. And, in the authors' experience, the best lie catchers do not jump to conclusions early based solely on facial expressions or word usage. Instead, they use them as a guide through an interview to get the best information possible. This enables further elicitation of information and better comparisons and contrasts with other statements and physical evidence—all of which lead to more informed decisions.
most likely a tip was left and then an interview was conducted :moo:
This LE has shown they don't just toss things out to the public left and right. They are asking for help from the public.
:moo:
Hopefully it is fruitful...

If this is true, it suggests Dylan did make it Sunday night to MRs and left in some capacity on Monday AM.

I don't know if that link worked right, I am on my phone. It's a press release about a suspicious man who was looking into rental properties.
I think cheese has a better link 1 page back.

Investigators interviewed someone last weekend who remembered seeing the man at the north end of Vallecito on the same day Dylan was reported missing.

So a new lead after 7 weeks . Someone came forward all this time later and just now remembered? While it's exciting, I hope their memory of the actual date and the way this guy looks is still accurate. I'm concerned about a memory of so long later and if they're so sure of the date, why didn't they come forward sooner. Bizarro!
How do you remember an exact day you saw someone almost 3 months later?
Probably stuck in his mind all this time, eating at him. He could have called in his tip a long time ago. Who knows.
I was also thinking it may be possible that the PI uncovered this information and LE knew about it but had been keeping it quiet. Once the PI released it, LE confirmed it.
Or, LE just didn't follow up on it. It would really upset me if that were the case.
So why didn't this person called this tip a long ago if that is a legit tip?
He may have. Who knows at this point?

If it was reported to police back then, I would think police would have been looking for that hispanic male back then. It's not like they have had many leads.
