Yeah, I saw that. Interesting comments were underneath that post, and now it appears LE DID know about it. :waitasec:

I just browsed right past the comments. I just lightly browse over there. Some comments are just too much for me.

If this is true, it suggests Dylan did make it Sunday night to MRs and left in some capacity on Monday AM.

Are you saying because they want to question this man that was in the area on Monday vs Sunday? I feel that LE doesn't know when Dylan truly disappeared and are covering all bases.

I wonder if there's a description of this mans vehicle? Perhaps others saw him too.

I can't wait to see what Elaine's bf has to say about this. IMO JMO MOO :twocents:

Oh my word. I really need to get my cataract surgery. (Scared to death to have my eyeballs poked at! lol)

Well, that doesn't say LE knows anything about it. I hope they have called LE though.

Pretty much all of that article is saying 'investigators are saying' so i rather assumed the info about the dogs came from LE too. But perhaps not. Sometimes it's hard to tell.

It's a one drink minimum - per comment.

I was careful to say 'if this is true' and 'in some capacity'. I don't take this as gospel just yet, though I suspect LE releasing this info after keeping everything else so tight-lipped means they are at least confident enough in the reliability of their source (and probably independently corroborated) to release this info and are likely trying to put pieces together to the various credible theories that line up with whatever evidence they may have.

Wow just checked FMDR. Thought for sure the potential witness info would have been plastered all over it. Nada.

According to the pantscraper, he was on foot and walked out of the woods and then back into the woods.

So this would point towards a stranger abduction or possibly this person could have been a witness to something.

For a stranger abduction to be considered IMO, we still have to get past the phone issue.

IMO - Possible reasons DR would not call or text his family or friends before getting into a car with a stranger:

1) believed he would be able to call/text from the car
2) was physically overcome and prevented from using the phone
3) this happened really early, perhaps right after MR left and DR had just woken up so had not had a chance to text/call his friends yet
4) cell phone was dead

Any thoughts on this list? Additions?

IMO - DR would have texted or called if at all possible if he was accepting a ride and lack of contact on Monday means he was unable to do so.

My estimation of pantscraper has gone up. He was called out, called a liar, blasted, insulted, and he still insisted it was correct info. And he told the truth, per LE.

As far as truth and other people, well, I've got to think about that one.

According to MR - it was Elaine that first refused to "talk." And recently, MR came out in MSM and said that Elaine would not agree to mediation.

Obviously this is a he said/she said situation. I think it is up to LE to determine who is telling the truth and to determine if it aids in the investigation.

Accepting everything that ER says as the one and only answer, in the face of MSM articles that provide a different perspective is just limiting the possibilities in my opinion. I'm not attacking ER, but I don't feel anything is trustworthy, really, from either parent. Both parents have been outed as being less than truthful and we don't have anyway, at this point at least, to determine who the more truthful parent is. So it is all a matter of opinion at this point. It's really frustrating too!

Salem

snipped and BBM: Thank you Salem!!!! I have been trying to think of an appropriate, TOS way to say this and have failed miserably, me and my "tell it like it is" way of doing things. So I've pretty much not said anything.

Thank you so much for finding a way to say it delicately.

If you are female, I have a girl crush on you. If you are male, I think I just fell in love. :floorlaugh::blushing:

Then why was he asking about where he could get gas? Any word on where exactly this was?

Investigators Looking For Potential Witness In Redwine Search

La Plata County Sheriff's Office investigators say they interviewed a person over the weekend who said they were contacted by a man who asked where he could find gasoline for his vehicle. He was in the north end of Vallecito on Nov. 19, the day Dylan disappeared.

The man is Hispanic, between 45 and 50 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs around 170 pounds and dark hair. The man was looking at rental properties.

Investigators say he could be a potential witness and not even know it. If you know who the man is, or have information about him, call the special tip line: 970-382-7511.

Um, 7 weeks later they ask for this man? I don't even know what to think. Shake my head comes to mind.

RT @KDVR has learned investigators have a possible new lead in #DylanRedwine case. They're trying to reach a man who was in the area in Nov.

I hope they will get the neighbor together with a sketch artist.
