K-9 Forensics will be in Bayfield, CO, on Sunday (2/17). They should have their rig on the road by 11 a.m.

Someone above said ER shows considerable restraint but I wonder why? Why not come out publicly with these questions and really shine the light on MR? Is it concern of some repercussion such as a lawsuit? Embarrassment over dirty laundry? Forget that, Dylan is missing! And if ER does not feel capable, which i absolutely could understand, then why not have other family members talk?

A lot of people will never look twice at the unofficial FB pages because of all the other nonsense that goes on there. And so a very important story, Dylan's story, is not being told to the public. I hope that the Dr Phil show will give the family a forum to come forward with their concerns.

I asked last week - has there ever been a missing child case where the family felt the dad was responsible and as later proved wrong? And not a single case was found. I put a lot of weight on ER, CR and AZG's opinions. And I am completely open to discussing and helping to develop any and all theories, but their opinions are always in the back of my mind.

I agree with you and on this forum their's are the only opinions I will even consider. There is no one even ones who claim to be 'verified' whatever that has an educated guess as to what has happened to Dylan. Having said that even ER, and AZ are basing their opinions on feelings and on the past. But, as far as I am concerned they are the only people that can have a valid theory and the only ones I will give any credence to. I know how I feel and what I believe, but I am basing that solely on the facts that have been presented and my gut, yes my gut feeling. This forum is actually driving me nuts because of all the negative posts.

What if the parents were not estranged, and what if they had a wonderful relationship, who would be blamed for this? Think about it. JMO

If I were closer I would come and hand out doggie treats. Thank goodness that Mark lined them up and hopefully we can get some answers. One way or the other. jmo

I will always think the dogs on the lake pulled out to soon. jmo

It looks like Dad lived along the highway. If Dylan was in the front yard and someone stopped by ... offered him a ride to Bayfield, or maybe he decided to hitch hike ... perhaps thinking that if he didn't get a ride, he wasn't far from home. Maybe he got a ride before anyone in the neighborhood noticed him.

I would believe that Dylan decided to hitch a ride, maybe, if he had contacted R to find out where he would be.

As it stands, I cannot. I do not believe he would leave the house willingly if his phone gave out on him. Why should he? His ride was coming for him.
BBM

Your post just make me think of something. I know MR said things like "he knew I'd be working on getting him down to his friends," but did Dylan really know that? Has MR ever specifically said that he told Dylan that he would give him a ride when he got back?

I didn't know who lined them up, but I am thankful for their expertise.

Although I travel extensively, I will not be in that area at that time. I wonder if Ransom will be there again.

I am pretty sure it was reported that Mark got in touch with them. If not I have no doubt I will be corrected. lol jmo

This is my top Someone Else Did It, Outside the House, theory. IMO, it has the best shot to overcome the issue with the phone if the person who picked him up was capable of getting Dylan to hold off calling or texting to let someone know he ws getting a ride. Also covers why Dylan would have his backpack, if he was thinking of walking towards town. The key is that it would be a very short timeframe, Dylan decides to walk, but before he can tell anyone he gets picked up and never gets that chance.

I haven't seen any articles from today, so I might be behind here, but my understanding is that K-9 Forensics spoke with both ER and MR. MR may be taking a more forward position with them because he lives in the area, but I'm pretty sure ER and LE are being kept informed of what is happening - at least that is the impression I got from the last couple of articles regarding the upcoming searches.

It appears BOTH ER/MH as well as MR contacted the K-9 team:

Wendy Kessinger and her organization K-9 Forensics made an offer to the Redwine family Wednesday night on KOB 4: To search for 13 year old Dylan Redwine - free of charge.

The message made its way to Redwine's mother, Elaine, and her fiance, Mike Hall.

"Elaine and I watched that together and we're just so grateful that people like her are willing to help and so I reached out to KOB to put me in contact with her," said Hall. KOB 4 helped make the link between Dylan's mother and Kessinger.

Dylan's father, Mark Redwine, also called KOB 4 after our story aired. He says he is grateful for Kessenger's offer and is eager to work with her.

I'm still suspecting "Pat", at least until somebody named Pat either starts posting here, or is determined to be involved with the family somehow... :moo:

wonder if your "Pat" and my "Tim" are the same person... :what:

nah....

I think that it was one of the requests of the K 9 unit that they would speak with both ER and MR. I know it was something ER had to agree on. So who knows, just glad they are here. jmo

I just provided a link in my last post #675 - it states both ER/MR contacted her after the offer was made. :seeya:

The only red flags that I have picked up on from ER was her hesitation when asked if she had anything to do with Dylan's disappearance. I don't necessarily think it's because she personally did anything to Dylan or arranged for anything to happen while he visited MR. However I truly think that while she is suspicious of MR and believes him responsible in some fashion, I get the vibe she also feels others who are close to her are involved and she is wary of saying anything because she isn't sure who she can trust. And I think it is smart of her. She may well have voiced her concerns to law enforcement and as I've said before even if they checked those poi's out, without evidence there is nothing they can do. I honestly believe Dylan is alive. I wish I could explain why, I just have a feeling. Of course I could be wrong, although most of the time when I trust my instincts they are usually right. Let's pray that they are. I'm not sure what the end game could possibly be in a scenario like this but I hope it comes to an end soon. JMO

mck, I've been going by my gut feelings as well and I think they are similar to your own. If ya just ain't feelin it, ya ain't feelin it. Ya know??? And think about also if the tone had been set differently and if at least the two parents had stood together in the beginning.

I feel so often that Dylan got lost in the middle of all the drama. It's really sad that so often the mods have to remind us to reign in our egos and remember that this is about a boy who is missing and not about whether we are right or wrong. It just seems like this is all that surrounds poor Dylan. His parents are basically doing the same thing in the public that we are.

Where does this leave Dylan? Sometimes I don't even feel anymore like any of us are helping to find Dylan, just pissing and moaning at each other. IMO, JMO (Sorry for the wording, was trying to think of another way to put this but it's late and I'm tired.)

I have read about hitch hiking abductions in Australia, and it sounds like it's very sudden and unexpected that a knife is pulled. Sometimes potential victims get away, but it usually involves jumping out of a moving vehicle and sometimes running through traffic while someone is chasing, possibly shooting.

Wouldn't teens text after getting in the vehicle? That's as long as it takes to be overcome and unable to send the text. An abductor would get the phone first to prevent the possibility that Dylan took a picture of the vehicle before getting in and was about to send the picture to a friend. Wouldn't the phone would be the first thing to go during an abduction.

Did Dylan have cell phone service at his dad's house? It sounds like he didn't. He could have used the house phone ... all the humbers were stored in his phone ... but then the suggestion is that his cell phone was dead ... so there was internet and cable in the house ... so he could have facebooked his friends. When did his social media contact stop?

Let's hope that both your gut feeling and mine are right, that Dylan is alive.
