Assuming that the Dr Phil show is going to be an all out attack on a defenseless MR from all three of the other guests is a pretty big assumption IMO. What if Brandon is going as a neutral party or a supporter of MR? Has anyone thought of that? And why is Brandon even going? Well Dylan IS his brother too and Brandon did spend time with MR when Dylan first went missing IIRC. So why is it so odd to some that he will be there?
I really hope the show does go on. The only way I could possibly see MR getting out of it now is if he officially lawyers up and uses that as his excuse. I saw that his company, United Pipelines is matching any monies that the blood drive brings in. So I can't imagine that they wouldn't be understanding enough to let MR have a few days off and heck maybe even with pay!
We will have to wait and see how it all pans out. <modsnip>

I haven't read where any of Mark's sons said that they had a good relationship with him. If they did, their keeping quite about it and are not lending him any public support. MOO.

That kind of says something dont you think?

Wow. Why would it be suspicious if no bats were found? Did MR play baseball?

Baseball is a big part of their lives. As noted in supermom's above post, baseball bats have been used as a weapon before...

It would be suspicious if no bat was found bc I would think there would be at least one bat in the house, even if its memorabilia, for protection, for playing with....no bat in the house could mean it was used as a weapon and then disposed of.

Maybe azgrandma has some input about MR and baseball bats.

Just from what I have seen I don't think either ER or MR will be able to restrain themselves. It will be a highly charged show and one wrong word from either of them and here we go.

I hope the good doc can keep them in control. When is the show? tia

Well I sure hope they can. I would hate to see an attempt at getting Dylan's name and face out there turn into a fiasco. And honestly I think Dr Phil would only let that go so far.

I do know one thing. AZgrandma did ask all of us to please refrain from discussing her children on this thread. No one is allowed to speculate about anything posted on the non-official FB page, so we really can't say anything for certain anyway. JMO

With all due respect, will you please reframe from using names when referring to my children, this includes a name you believe may be theirs. I asked this at the beginning and felt that perhaps it was time to ask again.

I'm not sure what it means to you but to me it seems like they don't have a good relationship because of things that happened in the past. Obviously whatever it was has precluded these sons of his from publicly supporting him.

But, maybe I'm wrong and they had a great relationship for years and that has evaporated since Dylan disappeared. MOO.

On a comical note, true story:

My ex and I were arguing one time. He actually said, "Well, Dr. Phil says..." :)
We laughed really hard about this afterwards.

I've also heard other males say that they like / respect Dr. Phil. Perhaps he can make a good connection with MR.

Awesome research, SuperMom! Unbelievable isn't it when one actually looks at it! It's all about power and control and the children are the pawns.

MOO[/QUOTE

Thank you! I enjoy it! Yes, it is incredible and while the kids are of varying ages the bottom line is power and control because they either don't want to pay child support or give up their custodial control (therefore control over ex spouse) to the point that "if I can't have him (and you) then you can't have him" just like Elaine said, and either Mark is too narcissistic to commit suicide or he's waiting to see if they start to close in on him. IMO

Sorry Grand :(
I'm such a dork , I intentionally 🤬🤬🤬 'd it out earlier and then did NOT in a latter post.

Baseball is a huge part of my family's lives too. However, if my son didn't play baseball, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have bats in the house. Besides, if MR beat Dylan to death with a baseball bat, I would think there would be a ton of evidence, even if it happened on the side of the road. There would be blood splatter on MR and in his truck after the assault. MOO

SO question to everyone
If MR disappears before the taping of this show ......... what will
your thoughts be ? This is more towards the ones who think he's
innocent at this point, but to everyone !

 • #974
I'm sorry, this is an awful thought, but baseball was a big part of their lives. Were any baseball bats found in the house? If not, that would be suspicious. If so, I'm sure they have been tested?

And I have thought about him being buried around a famous field where they went?

FWIW

snipped from article

He has also met with his other son with Elaine Redwine, Cory, 21, and a son from another marriage, Nicholas, 28, from Arizona.
“We all met together in a private room and sat down and talked. I haven’t heard from Cory for three days,” Mark Redwine said. “I think he’s struggling like we all are. I know he’s closer to his brother and to his mom than to me. We were trying to get our emotions out on the table and focus on finding Dylan.”
Mark Redwine said he would like to meet with his ex-wife but so far has not had success beyond the text messages.
“I don’t want to have dinner with her and become buddy, buddy, but as parents of a missing child, people need to know that we can put our differences aside and that we want our son back,” he said.

And for all the blaming of MR for not being communicative, it says it right there, in the first few days/week of Dylan's disappearance, that MR was willing to meet with ER and she refused. Yet in that first week, she goes on national Tv and states that he won't return calls and texts. He asked for a sit down, a meeting with her. Yet she refused. So how come she gets to <modsnip> about no communication and it's justified???

They are both megalomaniacs. I don't see a connection forming there, at all.

I would think that someone offed him. By answering this question I'm not saying that I believe Mark is innocent. I'm still on the fence.

I guess I find it very sad that two parents have to go on national television and can't communicate like adults for the benefit of the children. It could be due to one parent or both being stubborn.

There are many options available such a mediation. Maybe they have gone through mediation in the past and it was a nightmare, I don't know.

The Dr. Phil show thing just doesn't sit right with me, because I think it's sad. I do get this "Jerry Springer" feeling when you ad up the show, what is going on in SM and comments that have been made from one parent towards the other on MSM. It obviously isn't a recent thing and I'm sure all children have been hurt by this behavior.

The SM stuff is very "Jerry Springer" to me and those involved could put a stop to it if they wished. It has made me loose credibility, that otherwise may have been given if adults acted like adults. This has made me question how much both parents have played a part in the family dynamics as opposed to just one.

It's a shame that everyone can't just act like adults. If everyone can't, then you would think all but one could. JMO

I think MR's idea of communicating is a text message!
