I don't even think she plays it well. It's a complete waste of time to me. Is anyone really going to see her as a victim? Come on.... She's one sick little girl IMO.

The majority of them don't "play it well". They just think they do. Of course, they do have their supporters. There is always someone who believes them.

What else can he do??? He's given interviews, he's answered all LE's questions and is cooperating, he has been a phsycial part of the search for him, he's handing out flyers, he's asked publically for the return of his son.

He's not a suspect, he's not a POI as far as the police are concerned.

And now he's agree to go on Dr. Phil. Dude can't win no matter what he does.

<modsnip>.

He shouldn't have to be told what to do to find his son IMO. He went on ONE search that I am aware of.

Every interview he gives I try to evaluate and/or re-evaluate is there something new or changed. His story does not make sense and the more I hear the more I feel that way. I don't care about holding MR's or ER's hand in this. I care about Dylan. I only care about the child or missing person. It is the case I try to focus on, not the drama & how so & so is feeling. That sounds harsh I am sure, but I am not on w/s to be a support team for parents of missing children, I could go to a FB group for that. My focus is on the first victim.

I hope MR follows through for Dylan's sake, but seeing will be believing for me & I will re-evaluate MO if necessary after the interview.

Very nicely said. Good post. :rocker:

Sorry Psychic Sleuth, I was elaborating on your post and I should have specified. I agree that he's not doing this for ratings, and he won't have a spike from this, because he does a variety of different topics on his show and missing children are just one of them. So I think the family is extremely fortunate that he's chosen to feature Dylan and I would think that nothing would take priority over getting on there immediately. Apparently I am wrong.

MOO

Wrong? No! You are soooo right!

He gave kudos to Jose Baez? Well, he just sunk even lower in my lack of respect for him and I didn't even know that was possible.

I watched Baez on Dr Phil [ as hard as it was to keep from upchucking] and I gained much respect for DP. Imo, he asked Baez some hard questions and he actually knew about the details of the case and stood up to him. Although he didn't ask about the newly found computer searches that we all know about here.

And I missed this part, but reportedly, Dr Phil was quite dismissive of Baez's book at the end of the show and kind of threw it down at the end.

He gained my respect if that is true. :great:

“It’s not a maybe, it’s going to happen,” said Mark Redwine, father of the missing boy. “It’s just a matter of getting it coordinated.”

Denise Hess, who has helped coordinate search efforts for Dylan, also confirmed the plans.

“The family is ready to go at any moment,” she said. “We’re waiting on Mark to decide.”

Producers wanted the Redwine family to tape the show this week in California, but Mark Redwine was unable to attend, he said. Now, the producers want to tape on Wednesday or Feb. 27.

Elaine and Cory Redwine were ready to appear on the show this week, Hess said, but Mark Redwine wouldn’t commit to it and didn’t give a reason why.

This seems to confirm what I had read previously. The date was set for the 20th, as MR initially accepted that date. And then suddenly, MR backed out of that date and wanted it to be the 27th instead. Cold feet?

So I am not going to send kudos to MR until he is actually on that set and answering questions.

I think this sentence says it all. Since when is a father not part of the family? jmo

That is not true and as a matter of fact he told him how well it was written and gave copies to his audience.

It will be interesting to see where the HRD dogs start their search tomorrow.

When they are divorced and estranged.

Obviously since Elaine has moved on and has a new man there are now two different families. I highly doubt that Elaine considers MR her 'family' any more than MR does her.

I don't consider my ex husband to be my family any more. Am I a bad person?

Right, but according to one of our members, he then walked over to Robyn at the end, and kind of threw the book at an audience member, unlike his usual endings with authors on his show.

So, because he said a BOOK was WELL WRITTEN? Hmmmmm.....sounds like if he can be kind to a bottom feeder like JB, MR shouldn't have any problems with him being unfair or biased.

JMO

The only reason that I can see for Dr Phil to praise JB's writings is because they made an agreement to do so before Jose would go on his show. In other words Dr Phil only does things that help enrich Dr Phil's bank account. MOO.

I wonder how much they will share on details. I have a feeling not much. They were concerned with possible evidence being disturbed etc. I'm sure they will give general updates but I don't know that we're going to get specifics. And I respect them for that.

Hal Boedeker must have missed that part.

Well I am a member and I watched the show and he handed the book as he always does and the man who got the book was thrilled to death. I am sure that there may be video of the show if you doubt what I am saying. jmo
