So then why go on Dr. Phil? Why is there such a need to get his name out there nationally??

It may not be in MSM but we've had at least one poster state her friends/family were questioning why should they waste their time on finding Dylan when it was obviously a family issue.

I thought LE said they felt it was foul play on day 2 or 3.

The family can do whatever they want or go on whatever TV show they please. It has no bearing on the investigation.

The family can circulate flyers, hold fundraisers and argue and bicker to their heart's content. It will have no bearing on the investigation.

"People" who are interested in missing child cases are the same people who would would be most likely spot him (and personally, I don't believe this child is alive).

The "people" who ARE interested would also be of the mind-set and personality to delve much deeper into this case and form an opinion based on said information. It would be irrelevant to those "people" whether there is family dysfunction or not. Matter of fact, many "people" might just pay attention to this case BECAUSE of the family dysfunction. (See: Anthony family for confirmation of that fact)

Posters who come here and make claims of "others who are questioning the case due to family dysfunction" would be considered a "rumor", just the same way FB is a "rumor" and much the same way our very own verified insider is not always believed.

The only thing I've seen is a comment about him loosing a lot of weight. I think anyone would be stressed, depressed or whatever term you would want to choose whether guilty or not.

Under these circumstances IMO, there is a higher probability of suicide.

The only way I can see suicide as an option would be if he is told is he is to arrested, and is in fact guilty. I don't see him as reacting in this way at all, really, but that is the only instance I can imagine.

Wow. I hardly recognized him. He sure got a big makeover for Dr. Phil show.

  • #824
IIRC, really early on the determined that Dylan was not a runaway. I remember us not even really getting to think much about the before it was taken off the table.

November 20

“We’re assuming at this point – it may be Dylan – eluded searchers,” he said. “We’re leaning toward his being a runaway.”

Authorities are not sure if the boy was upset and ran away or if other factors are at play.

“At this time, we’re exploring all possibilities,” Bender said.

November 21

Authorities suspect Dylan may have run away, but they weren’t ruling out the possibility he was abducted, said Dan Bender, spokesman with the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office, in a news release.

November 23

They have contacted the FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, he said.

Dylan’s photo was featured Friday on the website of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Bender said no possibility has been discarded. “This is the fifth day Dylan has been missing, with few clues to work from,” Bender said. “We have to consider everything from foul play to a runaway.”

Interesting to see the evolution

previously, it was reported shortly after Dylan vanished that MR was losing weight (by the guy who sells him cigarettes.)

well, here's a screen capture from the Dr. Phil promo of MR....looks like he's put on about 50# to me.

https://picasaweb.google.com/113834351157927335749/DylanRedwine#5847985434422308066

do we know if this is a current picture of him, it looks like its taken outside his house, possibly a picture that been taken a while ago?

I compared his original video store interview and then the Dr Phil promo, he looks thinner in the face and under the chin area

IIRC everything started happening very, very quickly once the FBI became officially involved.

This...is why to seek national attention

Just to show it can happen...so national attention can have some hope

Missing Virginia girl found unharmed in SF
Saturday, December 11, 2010

http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?section=news/national_world&id=7837477
It was TV show host Nancy Grace that helped crack the case of missing 12-year-old XXXXX. Grace featured the girl prominently on her CNN show in the past week and urgently pleaded with viewers to look for her.

A San Francisco woman saw Grace's show and then went shopping near Ocean Beach where she spotted 32-year-old Jeffrey Scott Easley and XXXX.

"The person who contacted police had observed a television show on CNN stating that these people were the ones who were on the show that aired today," says San Francisco Police Officer Albie Esparza.

NG later had this SF lady on her show

🤬🤬🤬 minor's name

Dr. Phil to Mark: why do you think the police are continuing to investigate you?

Mark: I don't think the focus is just looking at me

:21 seconds

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMJi36_fMOg

What happened to Mark wanting LE to focus on him and why didn't he answer the question?

I can't wait to see this.

Dr. Phil didn't ask if he wanted the focus on him, he asked WHY he thought the focus was just on him. It was a 40 second snip. I'm sure he'll answer in the show.

He looks fine to me in the video. He even has a new haircut and suit.

It's like he cleaned up for his trial. You know when you see a mug shot or initial court appearance for someone in the orange jumpsuit...then at trial they come in all clean shaven and new clothes?

JMO

So, the Dr. Phil show is his trial? I thought he'd already been tried AND convicted. Dr. Phil IS the shiz. He makes people reappear and he tries people.

So then why go on Dr. Phil? Why is there such a need to get his name out there nationally??
I thought LE said they felt it was foul play on day 2 or 3.[/QUOTE]

Sniped and BBM... I didnt make that very clear, sorry. I am not sure what day they decided he didn't runaway I will have to check. I was trying to say they didn't seal up and bag stuff from the house until 10 days after he went missing. That is when they served the search warrant.

Checked and it was on November 28th that MSM reported that LE no longer thought Dylan was a runaway.

http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_22083134/dylan-redwine-boy-missing-near-vallecito-did-not

But did MR know LE was going to bumble that? Everyone talks about all the coincidences and how lucky MR was. If he harmed Dylan, how the heck would he know LE wasn't going to come out blazing at him? Remember, MR wasn't the first to say Dylan would hitch hike.

It would be great if this case could be featured on "America's Most Wanted." That show seems to reach a pretty good audience. I'm all for getting the word out, through the right avenues. The more people reached, the better chances are that he'll be found. At least maybe someone can come forward with information that will locate him. IMO.

She's talking to a ghost. You get that right? ;) I will tell you she is acting just like a friend's brother when he forgot to take his medication for schizophrenia. Now I have to look closer.

I don't think the ratings are as good since they moved to cable/Lifetime. And they spend so much time on international drug lords, at least whenever I click on it.

AMW recently changed network affiliates. Last I heard, they are not currently taping any programs.

Thanks is often not enough for your posts, NCAnalyzer. Lots and lots of thanks. I get mired in the back and forth bickering and defending one's points and then read a post like this which is clear and direct and meaningful and wish I could have stated it as such. So thanks.

LOL A couple of people said they thought she was schizophrenic. She has a history of depression is all I know. That hotel is full of ghosts. At one point, you see a haze in the elevator after the doors close. Just strange.

If it wasn't for Dylan's Friends, the group that hitchhiked that one time from the Library, It's very doultful he would have said that.

He never knew about Dylan hitchhiking the one known time with friends.

I'm positive MR made sure he repeated that every opportunity he received to cast suspicion on a total stranger picking Dylan up hitchhiking.

Um, the one time hitch hiking story came out long after the friends initially stated he was known to hitch hike. Try again.
