FWIW, I personally don't put much weight in polygraphs. There's a reason why they're non admissible in court, IMO.

The thing that concerns me though, is you never know what someone may be capable of, especially in the position he is in. I certainly wouldn't risk the safety of my family by taunting him to satisfy the curiosity of others. Instead of encouraging people to do this, they should be discouraging them for their safety. If he can kill his own child for revenge, as some people think he did, then he is capable of anything. Especially, if he has nothing to loose.

I do hope he doesn't try to do anything to Cory but then Cory looks like he could take care of himself.....

Well I just talked to my son (Cory's age) and he's going to try to watch the show too. He used to watch Dr. Phil when he was younger. (Don't ask me why, I never could figure it out! :floorlaugh:)

My DH went out and bought an antennae for the TV just so I could watch this week. We haven't had cable for a couple of years.

thank you *Lash* for the screen shots !

Also FYI... on dr phils site.. On the left hand column are the shows for the week but LAST week on Friday I watched for the previews of this week. There was a little heroin junkie dark haired kid on there. Under the video portion of the page it says " phil unplugged' or something like that and if you clicked, Phil was talking about how hard it was to talk to this dark haired kid and how trying the filming was. Anyway, it might be a place to look after the episodes to see Phils' take on the ER/MR ,, possibly some words he may not say during the actual show !

I wonder what percent of father "revenge" killings end up being murder suicides. I guess this is where my mind was going when I previously brought up my concerns of MR.

I also find it odd (FB talk so should be considered rumor) that a neighbor is posting that she is driving by MR's house with kids in car, taking pictures and reporting back to the group. I personally wouldn't want to do that if I thought someone was a cold blooded killer.

As far as MR being on the search yesterday. If I was a dog handler I would not want anyone around that may potentially distract the dogs. I was a bit upset, when I say people begging her for information while she was trying to do her job, in those elements, from the kindness of her heart.

It is my understanding that those that were there were assisting in cutting holes in the ice etc. And if you read k9 forensics FB page she welcomed anyone that saw them searching to stop by and say hi.

It seems odd to me that MH has been there assisting the k9 searchers but MR is nowhere to be found. Well....really not so odd but disturbing.

Ahhh, for a brief moment in time he wasn't detected. But he wasn't running around undetected for 3 months.

Seajay was just responding to my post where I mentioned a close neighbour of MR saying LE hadn't visited her home at all since Dylan's disappearance. IMO Seajay was giving a known recent example of a perp hiding close by, undetected by LE, despite claims that nearby homes had been searched.

Not LE bashing either by the way, as I can't imagine the enormity of the task of doorknocking and checking everyone in a neighbourhood. It just seems to happen that homes/buildings are overlooked in some cases. IIRC LE did state that homes in the area had been checked, but here is someone less than a mile away stating that LE hasn't been on her doorstep once in the past 3 months.

When Cory says " I hate you " look at Mark's face . It could just be when you pause it but once again he looks like he is enjoying it :cow:

Best keep an eye on CR's face then too, as I thought I there was almost a little smile on his face as he said "I hate you"

Honestly, it's such a short clip and it's very obviously composed of many, many different tiny little film grabs crammed into 30 brief seconds. The show's editors would have pieced together the most dramatic looking expressions and phrases they could to create that clip. They're called teasers for a reason. Based on recent comments I'm also guessing that people are getting a bit excited about the potential drama of that episode, so the teaser has done it's job IMO
:moo:

boy, does his eyes look blood-shot???

Just like in the uncut MB interview, the right eye seems much more bloodshot than the left. It made me wonder if it was red from an injury or allergy maybe.

Is anyone going to record the show for those who can't view it when it airs? I know that YouTube has rules about putting episodes online but you can: A.) Make the video private, so only people with a URL can find it or B.) Just don't label the video with anything about Dr. Phil, and post the URL here.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch it when it airs on Tuesday or Wednesday :( I can't be the only one. So I would really appreciate it if someone would record it and put it on YouTube.

This is just my thoughts on this, but it bothers me that the media has emphasized that this visit was court-ordered. ANY visitation agreement is court-ordered. All that means is that when the judge allows the other parent to have visitation, the schedule is worked out between the parents and their lawyers and the judge signs off on it. Maybe not to one or the other parents' liking but judges prefer the child to have at least some time with the other parent, they don't like cutting off all contact between them.

The point is, whether the parents or their lawyers agree or disagree, the judge has the final say. The way this is presented in the media makes it almost sound like Elaine was trying to keep him from seeing Dylan at all, and the mean old judge forced Dylan to visit him anyway. I doubt that is even close to the truth, but I really don't know, it's JMO.

Totally agree with you on this one. It drives me crazy too. If it was a court ordered CHANGE to the visitation agreement that's a whole different thing IMO, but I've never heard it described that way. To me it's practically equivalent to saying that Dylan was living with his Mom in CS due to "court ordered primary custody" (implying that maybe he was forced by the "mean old judge" to move from Bayfield). I know the wording's kind of awkward but hopefully the point makes sense.

I really can't tell if it's just a normal everyday court order from the divorce being worded that way for media purposes, or if it's a case of MR going to court to ask to have Dylan on a Thanksgiving that was "supposed" to be ER's. If it's the latter IMO that's way more suspect.

Ok I'm going to call BS on the dr phil show. At the 15 second mark in the WED promo, when MR says " i cant deal with this ' and puts his hands up .......that is theater. That is not real. It makes me wonder how much of the show is real, the glares, the hand gestures and how much might have been puffed up for more ratings. That portion was filmed OUTSIDE of a studio audience and makes me think a producer or someone directed him to say or do that. It seems 100 % acting. Reality tv style. ugh :(

I cant see him taking a poly on the D.r P show!

Does anyone here think he will?

I do only because I can't believe they would've managed to get a whole additional hour of programming out of "will he or won't he take the poly?" for Wednesday. It's a little hard to tell from the promo stuff so maybe ER and CR or others also took them, but I still can't see them getting a whole hour out of that. I can definitely see them getting an hour of of that plus "will he or won't he?" plus followup discussions, though.

"He either left the house and someone abducted him or something happened while he was still at the house. I could not think of a 3rd possibility," said Dan Bender, spokesman from the La Plata County Sheriff's Office.

What's the odds that IF Dylan did leave the house and that someone that abducted him was Mark?

Interesting, hadn't thought about that idea before! The timing seems possible, and it sounds like that road doesn't get a whole lot of traffic. Hmmm... will have to think about that more. Thanks for bringing up the idea.

I think he was crying and so now begins the how being hysterical can affect the outcome of a polygraph :)

Also someone is going to be streaming the phil show on USTREAM tomorrow I believe I saw that on the fb page !

That clip in the polygraph room, MR hair is messed up looking, and he's wearing a bluish grey tee shirt, The way they edit these clips is so mind boggling.

There was absolutely no theater there, it was all real. Every single second of it was absolutely without a doubt real.

If the opinion is that it was theater, than MR is one heck of an actor and perhaps all his interviews would need to be re-evaluated.
