And one more:

Dylan had asked his father whether he could go to his friends' that evening after they had shopped at Walmart and eaten at a McDonald's in Durango and before the 45-minute drive to Mark's home north of Vallecito Lake. Mark said he told his son it was too late. So Dylan texted friends in Bayfield, his father said, and made arrangements to meet them the next morning."

R: So you went to run errands. Were you going to take him with you to run errands?

Mark: Well, there was some discussion he had with me the night before about leaving with me so I could drop him off in the Bayfield area with one of his friends that had been trying to text him or that he had been communicating with. As he had indicated to me he had been up until 4 o'clock in the morning the night before, he was tired from being in the airport most of the day in his travel from Colorado Springs to Durango. I laughed at him kind of jokingly because I know him. If he ain't got to get up, he's not likely to get up. And he's not the type of kid who's going to get up at 6:30 if he doesn't have to. But you know, his friends are important and I know they're important me. So there was a possibility but it doesn't surprise me he elected to not get up when I left. And when I left, he acknowledged everything I was saying to him and that I would be back. He knew when I came back that I would be working on getting him down to his friends. And that's part of the struggle we all have, you know, what happened to him between the time I left and when I got back. And that's what nobody seems to be able to answer.

OMG, it is a yes or no question. What is wrong with this man...

Why use dogs at all if you are not going to believe them?

I think LE knows exactly what the dogs hit on and dont want ppl going near that lake.

Some LE don't trust Tim Miller. I'm not saying that's the reason here because I don't know, but I've posted this before. Tim's credibility was shot when he inserted himself into the Haleigh Cummings investigation. They could very well not want him to do the same thing here. I don't blame them, if that's true. I know that's hard for some to understand because Tim is such an upstanding guy and has devoted his life to helping find the missing. But LE wants to contain their investigations among their own people that they can trust, and a lot of them just don't trust Tim.
FWIW, I respect Tim a lot, but I predicted this would happen and so did Marc Klass, and there is a man who ought to know how far to go in these cases.

That's fine. Then LE needs to get their own people to do it and pay for it themselves! A lot of this is ego and politics IMO.

You mean search people? Why ever not? Why not find him right now, if he is there and people are willing? I have never heard of the concept of leaving a body "unfound" one second longer than necessary.

I know there is a msm article out there that mark says dylan was to meet his friend at 6 30

I know. I'm trying to sort out in my mind why MR would say 7:30.

I agree. I've been a bit worried about LE until I looked at the big picture again. They know....and my bet is, they've always known. JMO, but when looking at everything they have done and said, (especially and including the things NOT done or SAID), that alone gives me the answer. They have their POI. They just haven't named him...and most likely they won't because they see this foolish man running around giving interviews and going on tv shows and they know he is his own worst enemy. (something I've been saying from the beginning) All signs point to this. The only question that remains is if there is enough circumstantial evidence for the DA to present a case....and for that, I believe the waiting game has been extended to finding a body. If and when that happens, I expect we might see some quick action. :moo:

Exactly!

THEY KNOW!

They dont need MR to take another poly.
they know he failed and they know his replies
they dont need TES.
I still say the fishing pole they found was his
I think they saw on sonar.
they will remain silent till they can go get this young man!

JMO

They need warmer weather.

Why don't they want anyone to go near the lake?

Why answer with a yes or no when you can go on and on and on and on until everyone forgot the initial question?

And "work on" getting him to his friends? What does that even mean? You get him into your truck and drive him there. Why is everything that comes out of his mouth so ridiculous?

Very common pattern among liars. :moo:

Think I might choose a new signature:
No more divert, distract, deflect. Mark Redwine, WHERE IS DYLAN?

Are you also thinking that MR was asked a question on the first poly about the lake?

Well since Mark was questioning the 'ability' of the polygrapher who took the first one, I would think knowing JT's training would have made him much more comfortable.

Funny that LE has come out and said the polygrapher that gave him that test was fully qualified and trained to do so. It's just another Mark excuse. It was the polygrapher's fault that he failed or it was inconclusive. It's always someone else's fault. Don't we all see that?

Heck he even blamed poor Jim Beam for not taking another one. :)

If LE wasn't looking at Mark before I assure you they are now. I believe they have been all along. Can you imagine how his discussions with LE went? He never gives a direct answer to anything!

This is exactly why I wanted to hear Mark speak. I knew when he did it would answer a lot of questions in my mind at least. This is why I'm so glad that Elaine and Cory and family/friends have done everything they have to call him out. Basically they backed him into a corner where he had to at least try to speak out to defend himself or allow everyone to believe in his guilt. He has done a very poor job though and would have been better off keeping quiet. LOL

That is true! And I am still very angry because he refused to take it!! It wouldn't matter to me who gave the test, if I agreed on national t.v. to take one, I would go through with it no matter what, because I know that by refusing it, I would look guilty as hell!!
I cannot imagine why anybody would want to make themselves look even worse than they do already.

Right, it's so weird and stilted sounding.

I think what jumps out at me is when he says, "And that's the struggle we all have" or in a couple of other interviews (like DP), "And that's the question we all have to ask".

I know people use all kinds of words, but these two sentences are just so odd and stilted sounding to me. It's such a round about way of asking, where's Dylan, it's like he can't bring himself to say that.

MOO and all.

Yes!

and I think he was asked about the last time he saw him!

You know after they sent the divers in they were sending helicopters over the lake for a while weren't they? We're they hoping the body would eventually float up? Does that happen?

I think it's a difficult task to search a frozen lake but I don't know that it's impossible. I know divers recovered Samantha Koenig from a frozen lake in Alaska. Of course I have no idea how much the altitude and depth etc have to do with the risks and whether it's even possible there. Where is diveguy?
