DEBRIS! Debris, yes I get it. Just had never heard of flotsam and jetsam. Thanks for explaining! And yes a body can get caught up in that flotsam and jetsam pretty darn easily. So one cannot assume if a body went in anywhere in that lake that the current would always carry it down to the dam.
BBM: Quit using those big words.....:) They make sense.

ETA: No, unless you know the topography(is it topography in a lake?) of the lake, you cannot assume it would make it to the dam. That might be the direction a piece of wood floating on the surface would go, but not necessarily anything under water. My experience, only.

DP's staff had spoken with MO and MO was going to give them some info and appear on the show. After multiple attempts over several day by DP staff to contact MO, as recently as two days before taping, MO did not answer calls, return calls and did not appear on the show.

MR indicated that he had not been able to contact MO either.

Hm! VERY interesting info, AzG! Thank you!

Well isn't that interesting!

Well could it be because LE really is out searching the lake again I wonder?

Are they ? I heard one poster say there would be a search this weekend but never saw any details or heard anything else so I thought it might be rumor.

So -- maybe the "wealth of evidence" is all there -- but nothing that can definitively tie MR to Dylan's disappearance and/or possible death. In spite of circumstantial evidence, it seems without a body, nothing can be done -- not even refer to someone as being a potential suspect. While I can't blame investigators for not wanting to send divers into freezing cold water, it seems avoiding it prevents a potential faster resolution. Why doesn't the FBI send one of their dive teams in? Or bring back the sonar and do another search. They know someone is in the lake -- I can't understand how they can justify delaying finding out who it is.
SBM

Suspect is a legal term. It changes things to openly state that, and what would be the benefit? In Sierra Lamar's case for example, no suspect announcement was made prior to arrest. Individuals have been arrested, tried, and convicted without a body. LE may be developing enough evidence to meet the probable cause requirement for an arrest warrant, the DA and/or LE could've already met the standard, but want to have the case even more solidified prior to arrest. We don't know. There's no indication investigators don't want to send divers into freezing cold water. Even recreational divers go into frigid waters, ie when my hubby dove at the Arctic circle several years ago. Why the assumption they're avoiding or delaying anything?

Gosh I'm sorry i started the whole thing on the whereabouts of T's house! All I wanted was a general idea of where he lived on the lake. That's all I wanted, and it started this big ole Elaine said 6 miles, then MR said it wasn't 6 miles, DP pulled up the map showing it was indeed 5.9 miles and those disputing it etc etc etc.

I just wanted a general idea of where T lived in relation to everything else around the lake :(

I found it with some help (thanks all). IMO he lives near the main marine right at Pura Vida. Yes, 5.9 miles exactly from MR's house.

I saw a brief comment/article I think it was? Don't ask me to find it though! LOL It's pages back.

:sigh: It's not a rumor. It's [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8962936&postcount=173"]linked[/ame] in an article on the last thread. And [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8962993&postcount=192"]link[/ame]. Not saying the article's correct, but it's there.

Is that right ? :what::what::what:
So MO is MIA ! Bit off a bit more than he could chew.
OH lol, you know what ? I bet MR agreed to do the show cuz MO would be
there to ' watch his back ' in MR's mind anyway and when MO did not show
MR was unprepared to go it alone. Curious as all get out !

I dont think MO has a PI license.
I was reading his Fb page and he has a degree in Hypnotherapy or something along those lines.

Licensing in CO is voluntary and relatively new. But I wouldn't hire him, iykwim. ;)

Well I was bored and hoping for something new to chew on and went back through the pine river times fb page to NOV 20 !

Some interesting things. PRT says in the comments that they talked to LE and LE said for public to NOT go assist in searching. Basically that they had plenty of LE to do the searching. Also of note they were interested in neighborhoods, not the woods...... so not sure what that means. Also I had forgotten that initial poster for Dylan basically implies he left on foot.........' he was supposed to meet up with friends in bayfield but never made it' . FWIW MOOO JMO ATJ!

Lol. He did ('cept it was misspelled, even ). Can you believe he just bailed on his client (MR) without a word too? Just odd, IMO.

I'm beginning to wonder if he even exists ! I mean , is it possible someone hoaxed MR and he didnt' even know ? It's just laughable the crazy things put forth by MO and the name crappy pants and the paranormal stuff. Could this be some bored college nerd who took advantage of MR (* i realize how that sounds) and trying to make a name for himself , immediately realized he had no idea what to do so he bailed? And FWIW the tipster MO brought forward or mentioned FIRST has now been found and found to be nothing...... the whole thing is weird. There are always clingers on in high profile cases. I did not realize this was a high profile case but I guess in that area it has been from day one.
Thoughts ?

Actually I kind of thought he would bail.

well he did say several times that it was NOT 5.9 miles to Tristen"s house

Right, he did deny that. But according to GoogleMaps it is 5.9 miles to T's house. So once again, he is just denying the obvious.
