So I read the link

She is a private investigator with Colorado Springs based Rocky Mountain Investigations. Dylan’s dad Mark asked the team to join the search. They agreed to join the case pro-bono.

Yep. Says "They agreed" and "they traveled", "the team", etc. I think there's more about Michael in other threads. :) Iirc, the prev info link goes to the SOS in CO where it lists Michael and RMI.

IMO (as with the other cases I keep harping on) it is not so much the lack of a body as a lack of a crime scene that will keep a case in limbo indefinitely. LE is getting more aggressive in pressing charges without a body, if they have a crime scene. The man in MN was charged a matter of days for murdering his missing wife (Kira) due to the evidence in the house. But if Dylan is not found, and no crime scene is found, well, that is where you end up with cases like the others.

I find those whole thing with RMI VERY interesting. Wouldn't one think that they would love to appear on a national TV show with millions of viewers. You cannot buy that kind of publicity.

So what would make them be MIA in the days before the taping?

THIS dude and his language...... what the heck ??

Melissa Blasius:
Why’d you go to Wal-Mart?

Mark Redwine:
Well, I had just recently come in from doing a job in Silver City, New Mexico, so, you know, I didn’t have a whole lot of things for us to eat, and you know, Dylan’s always adamant about having his snacks around and things for him to snack on when he’s around, and…so there was a need for us to grab enough things from Wal-Mart to be able to sustain ourselves for a day or two while we were figuring out… you know, I didn’t even buy anything for Thanksgiving because I didn’t have any concrete plan as to what we were going to do whether we were going to do it here or whether we were going to do it somewhere else. So, all I was trying to do was focus on, you know, having enough to get us by for the next couple days until we could make those arrangements. You know, Dylan … wanted to throw in a few videos that he found in the $5 bin, so we threw those in -- which is one of the movies we would watch that night … you know… when we were together… and… you know…I mean there wasn’t a whole lot of things we needed.

Dylan always ADAMENT about having snacks. Was Dylan a tyrant about his snacks? Or was he a regular kid who wanted a snack and MR thinks him wanting something is being ADAMENT?

For the love of God to MR if you are innocent, do not ever SPEAK another word !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Catching up here as you guys are always busy while I am asleep! :)
I understand what you are saying about his speech, but everyone comes off looking pretty bad in transcripts. It's easier to type up sensible responses on a forum - we have the backspace button and time to check before hitting submit. In a transcript of anybody you get all the ums and ahs and backtracking that look so much worse in print.
Some of us just are convoluted speakers/writers (you know who we are) - I don't think I have ever managed too many quick or even one or two sentence responses here on WS. I've said before I take ages to write a post, and also do a lot of editing and checking before finally posting. Some of you are so brief and to the point - I wish I could be too. But there's also just so much to say!!:blushing:
Anyhoo ... not defending MR or what he says - but it seems to me that this is his manner of speaking, probably more exaggerated because he knows he is on camera and is trying to speak very correctly. And yes, I know there might well be some creative thinking going on and adding to his rambling.

She's with Rocky Mountain Investigations/Michael Olson, and several of us have commented on not seeing anything from/about them since the "tip" mess. Moo

I'm having a hard time keeping up with everything on this case. Can I get a brief summary of the "tip mess"?

I know a tip that a hispanic male was in the area was brought forward to LE. Has it been resolved?

TIA

Sometimes this case makes me feel like pulling my hair out!!

Time to put myself in another TO.

If anyone ever figures out where Wendy's dogs hit for sure can you send me a PM?

Wasn't Law Enforcement involved in cutting the holes in the lake durning the search, or at least present ?

Umm, he was asked a pretty simple question. Next thing you know, he is off on some twisted tale of sustenance...jmo. However one normally speaks, I can't imagine anything about life being the same with your CHILD MISSING. Sorry, not intended toward you, I am just fed up with MR.

Denver news source had an article that he was located and could be of no help. Link is here somewhere...from yesterday.

I don't have the link right now, but it was posted in this thread, I believe yesterday. [?]

But there was a link posted upthread that said the male hispanic had come forward, and had no involvement in Dylans case. It sounded like he was just a guy looking to rent a vacation cabin. JMO

The PI used his FB as a public forum irt to the case, and released info about a tip on it prior to LE having received it.

Yes it was resolved. link. It's in the media thread. FYI

What we did was a process of elimination of areas. earlier this week sabre picked up on a scent on the east side of vallecito lake despite all the snow and ice. Sabre absolutely went crazy there, he had bark alerts in the water, he was scratching at the ice through the snow there. kessinger says sabre is specifically trained to ignore animal remains - and to only look for human scents. There is something there, we can't be positive that it is Dylan but there is somebody there. SHE SAYS SHE ALERTED law enforcement and the redwine family. Divers need to go back in my opinion. AND KESSINGER still stands by her offer to help the family - for as long as it takes. When it comes to an end and the police funding runs out the overtime is too much - it's these teams that need to come on out and do this, keep it going. we talked to the la plata county sheriff's office - and they say their hounds picked up on a scent in that area of the lake this fall. they used sonar and sent in divers - and turned up nothing. kessinger still believes it's time for another look. )

But it was much more than just 'rambling' imo. He was deflecting and twisting things. And he was very condescending and rude towards Corey, even before Corey blew up and said he hated him.

No I don't believe so. They had some friends come out and cut the holes.
