No and I wish they would. It's either so insignificant it warrants no mention , just boys chattering or it's SO significant they cannot share for tipping off their perp !

Yeah, and in a few months, the discussion here will move at a snail's pace, with one post every couple of days....
or it could be a girl,
Thought about this after watching an incident my 7th grader had this weekend. Argument with a girl? Argument about a girl? Fed up, and to avoid additonal contact, he shuts off his phone.

If my theory is correct. The message sent at 9:37 was most likely sent to T and not sent by Dylan.
Just MOO
Sorry they do not shut off their phone!

We know that Dylan made the plans for 6:30am, but not necessarily that MR had agreed to that very specific time IMO.
Since he claims he was going to take Dylan to Rylans at 11:00 am, but when he returned Dylan wasn't there.Wouldn't a normal parent be worried that their son was walking a very long distance and call the friend right away to see if he made it there, especially when he didn't see him walking along the road on the way?Why did he wait so long to see if Dylan made it to Ryans ok?
R: So you went to run errands. Were you going to take him with you to run errands?
M: Well, there was some discussion he had with me the night before about leaving with me so I could drop him off in the Bayfield are with one of his friends that had been trying to text him or that he had been communicating with. As he had indicated to me he had been up until 4 o'clock in the morning the night before, he was tired from being in the airport most of the day in his travel from Colorado Springs to Durango. I laughed at him kind of jokingly because I know him. If he ain't got to get up, he's not likely to get up. And he's not the type of kid who's going to get up at 6:30 if he doesn't have to. But you know, his friends are important and I know they're important me. So there was a possibility but it doesn't surprise me he elected to not get up when I left. And when I left, he acknowledged everything I was saying to him and that I would be back. He knew when I came back that I would be working on getting him down to his friends. And that's part of the struggle we all have, you know, what happened to him between the time I left and when I got back. And that's what nobody seems to be able to answer.

so MR was aware of the 6.30am time
That sounds like B.S. there.Dylan definately wanted to go to his friends house. He would not have passed up that ride after stressing over and over to his friend to MAKE SURE he was up to let him in at 6:30.
Wonder how much longer we will repeat the same messages over and over and keep discussing Dr. Phil?
Hoping LE will issue a news release soon, so that we can actually move on and help with finding Dylan.
Jumping off your post and catching up, sorry if this has been discussed.
I do believe that the mail lady believes that she saw Dylan. I'm just not sure that she DID see Dylan. My reasoning is that the times and distances do not make sense in my mind, but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen.
I'm not believing she made the story up. I think she saw two boys. I think that she s/w MR, found out Dylan was missing and thought back to the previous day. I think that once she did that she remembered seeing two boys walking.
From that point I think that she wants to have seen Dylan walking with another boy. Not to be deceptive at all. The type of "hey I think I saw him walking with another boy yesterday headed towards........." type of thing. Perhaps MR then said, well please please go report it to the SO.
IMO two little boys walking with hoodies on (which I take to mean the hoods were up) are hard to recognize from a distance. I do feel for this woman if anyone thinks that she is intentionally being untruthful. She has reported something she saw and that's it.
Try a little experiment today, look at one random person on the street today. Less than a minute look. Don't write anything down at all. Then tomorrow, see what all you can remember. You'd be amazed at what you don't remember even when you are trying to remember. We run into so many people in our day to day lives that you can't possibly keep track of all of them unless there is something significant and distinctive.
Did I miss the other theories another poster was going to discuss -- trying to think of the screen name -- started with "sres" -- or something like that. I don't want Dylan's thread to die out either. This "puzzle piece" the police are looking/waiting for -- is it most likely a confession or a body? A confession may never happen, and a body (God forbid) may not yield a clear cause of death. How often does LE make official statements in cases like this (other than to say they have no new leads and no suspects?) Did LE indicate whether Dr. Phil's show produced helpful new leads? I hope so. This has probably already been discussed but could someone have surreptitiously come to the house to pick up Dylan? If we don't keep a dialogue going, we may limit attention and potential fresh ideas. As an aside, it is evident to me that in the case of Drew Peterson's third wife's death, shoddy analysis on the part of authorities was done --perhaps because Drew was a cop. It's unnerving to me that it took so much effort on the family's behalf to ensure justice was served. In Dylan's case, it does appear that authorities are focused -- but -- wondering how well they did look for evidence of something amiss in the very beginning?
No, sorry mine does. Frequently. Sometimes the messages get out of control and I've taught him to just turn it off and walk away from situations rather than keep responding to taunts. It's the girls that are bad actually. Read through some of the tirades on his phone this weekend, wow, brutal.
