I have just watched the video again, and after MB says
MR doesn't launch into talking about trying to wake Dylan up or the bus etc. That comes quite a bit later, after he has talked about not being able to concentrate on the movie, pacing around, them both being tired, etc.
Regarding MB's "question", I am surprised that nobody has commented about it - or am I the only one who doesn't understand what the heck she was trying to ask anyway??
I will say that none of us would probably come off as looking too smart if someone was to sit and transcribe a conversation after the fact. Written and oral language are two different kettles of fish - most people tend to embellish spoken language, especially when speaking casually. We all have different voices which we use in different situations. Speaking formally, chatting casually, writing notes, writing official documents, even composing posts for forums like this. I know that if anyone was to write a transcript of my words in a stressful conversation or interview, it would probably make me come off as being a blathering bundle of nerves.
Anyhow I was very surprised at how unprofessional and inept sounding MB's questions sounded in her interviews with all concerned, and remember commenting about the beauty of editing afterwards. We are fortunate she allowed us to watch her raw footage in this case - under normal circumstances we would only have seen highlights together with carefully worded, studio recorded commentary otherwise.
:moo:
ETA woops I see Coldhands beat me to it, with the actual transcripts - thanks
